Me! There is absolutely no reason for this game to be anymore than every other game on the market...Who the fuck do Activision think they are to give a RRP of£54.99...So it means I go on a lot of online retailers and see the price at the £45 mark and I am supposed to think thats a good price...Yes in the past games have this pricey (early N64 era) but as the industry tries to push towards the mainstream and hitting that mass penetration as an entertainment medium they should be trying to make the prices more reasonable and create a more manageable marketplace....not shaft people just because they can... I think people give it far to much leeway simply because it CoD but I don't have that affliation, I didn't buy CoD 4, I don't own WaW, in fact I havn't owned a CoD since the first one which I still have...I have Killzone 2, Resistance 2 and Battlefield 1943 which all are cracking online and I deep in and out of often so why do I need yet another shooter? There are fair better games for me out this winter that I want to get and companies I would much rather give my money to.... Activision have become the old EA and thats not a good thing for industry at all.... RANT OVER...

Well I've always been somewhat fascinated by the Persona series despite having never played any of them as don't own a PS2...think will pick this up...

I think KKOB you've probably made a wise decision you can pick up tons of uber cheap UMD games and there are some classics that you can get for less than a tenner whilst new PSP Go owners are going to have to pay the premium prices that PSN will bring about....

That trailer is fantastic...although will never run on my PC so have to hold out home for PS3 release...you never know after the KOTOR series got quite a following on xbox console versions aren't too unlikely...

That is a good description. I think it benefits though from its Precision vs Aggression system over PGR's kudos system where high end progression relies on racing how the developers want you to race. Now you can do what you like with regards to tactics...go for the clean technical race or go for the dirty race. Loving online as well...played 6/7 races and won them all...love being aggressive then people get annoyed try to delivery some payback and come worse off...another race was in I started second on the grid and the 1st place person went and turned right straight to take me out, I just zoomed through and they missed me but ended up getting into a scrap with the other 2 drivers leaving me to pull away, I won the race by some 20 seconds whilst they were all within a second of each other...

We were only talking about the comparisons to be made in combat systems which can be made in any game which well has combat..This from the guy who hasn't even played Batman yet...

I think a lot of people will read this as another attempt by you to wind up all the Batman lovers...BUT you do have a point, there is a ton of good stuff about the Yakuza system, its that similar kind of rhythm based system but benefits from contextual enviromental attacks etc...

Don't suppose you got it on PS3? Anyway I'm really enjoying it, the cockpit view is immense and gives such a great sense of speed, who cares if its an exaggerated sense of speed thanks to the fish eye view and motion blur, at the end of the day I'm playing a racing game where I want to feel like I am driving the awesome cars, I don't wanna feel like I'm stuck in traffic pottering around Harrogate in my shitty gold Astra...

God you guys do love to bicker...One things for sure Sony really need to sort out the pricing ready for PSP launch, prices are all over the place and are on the most part far to expensive when compared to their UMD counterparts... I mean Need for Speed Shift is £31.99!!!!! That's £2 more than the RRP for the UMD version and about £6 more than most online retailers are shifting it for...I got the PS3 version for just £2 more!!!!

sigh this thread really has been derailed...Basically I started it because there really is bot all I'm gonna buy on my Wii. I don't even see myself picking up any of the casual stuff which I do on occasion. More of my casual gaming has been on PC and I don't play PC games at all, yet my Steam account is filling up and theres a ton of free downloadable games that are awesome (anyone tried Ben there done that?) I bought my PS3 to stand alongside my Wii but its my main gaming platform which kinda makes me sad as I'm no fan of Sony's tbh, got my PS3 for MGS4, LBP and Uncharted games I wasn't gonna find anywhere else. Thank god there are so many awesome DS games both going cheap and coming out in the future otherwise I really would be without Nintendo...

Am I the only one not that excited about the multiplayer? Even having played the beta I'm just not that fussed tbh...The objective based co-op ones are awesome and I felt the same way when I played the Resistance 2 beta like it was something I could really get into and spend hours with but then just didn't as it was hard to get a decent match on the maps you wanted and finding a team working together was rare (thats not to say it never happened and when it did it was immense) So I never spent quite as much time as I planned with that and with Uncharted 2 coming out at a similarly busy time I feel the co-op will fall by the wayside to completing the single player.
