  1. Oh, I encourage hiding in your geek cave. Just make sure to bring more than one game series with you. :p
  2. Haha, doing cosplay for one of your own characters is so lame. I love it. :p (Next up: cosplaying as Qinc!)
  3. Because I'd rather he play something that he hasn't already played several times before. I want him to expand his horizons.
  4. He's worse at this than you are! Wait, no one's worse at this than you are. :p
  5. Faaalcon... guess screenshot correctly! :p Yes, Heavenly Sword. Though I did say "worthwhile" and "during the first year of the PlayStation 3". I don't think many people would bring it up as a big reason to get a PS3 anymore. ROUND OVER.
  6. I think you take your co-op platformers way too seriously. :p I got through the game just fine playing it with my brother. Yes, we accidentally killed each other quite a few times, but that's part of the fun when you're playing co-op and the game hands out 1-ups like they were candy, so it's not like the occasional accidental murder is really going to keep you from finishing the game. I do agree that pausing the game for half a second whenever someone died was annoying, though, and it's something that should be fixed in the next game, but it hardly ruined the co-op.
  7. No. The thread is still on the first page on the Other Consoles subforum, so there are really not that many games it could be.

    Cars 2

They made it because John Lasseter is unreasonably obsessed with the universe he's created. Though it probably doesn't hurt that the merchandise for the first Cars sold so well.
  9. All of them?
  10. ... I bumped up the thread for this game less than a month ago.
  11. Yoshi's Island DS was awful. Anything's better than that. :p Donkey Kong Country Returns and Kirby's Epic Yarn both look great graphically, but I'm not a fan of either series (though admittedly I haven't played these two games specifically). They also seem a bit less fitting for co-op, with Returns being really difficult and Epic Yarn being too easy. For the next New Super Mario Bros. I want similar gameplay but the graphical flair of Nintendo's second-party platformers. But most likely, we'll just get New Super Mario Bros. Wii with Miis. The new Kirby game looks like more of the same. It'll probably be good/decent, but slow and easy as usual.
  12. There definitely appears to be a fan translation of Chaos;Head, though I'm not sure how good it is. It probably can't be worse than the official translation for Ever 17, though. And yeah, I saw that there's a fan translation for Steins;Gate on the way when I googled the visual novel after you mentioned it. If the story is as good as you say it is, I hope they finish it soon.
  13. Oh, I meant the Chaos;Head visual novel. I'm far more likely to make it through a game than an anime. Though I hear the main character is annoying and the ending is disappointing, so now I'm not so sure.
  14. That's such a hipster way of looking at it, though. "It's only special if other people aren't playing it." I don't like the idea of timed DLC at all. People complain about certain companies including DLC in new copies of their games and forcing people to pay for it if they buy the games second-hand, but at least then the DLC is available for everyone forever/for the foreseeable future. Discovering Solatorobo a year from now (I discover games I've missed all the time!) and missing out on a big chunk of content because you didn't get the game fast enough is pretty awful. I also don't like how this game is region-locked only because you can take your own picture to replace the picture on your save file with (or something like that, I haven't played the game).
  15. New Super Mario Bros. Wii was awesome in co-op. Not sure if it'd be as much fun alone, but I'm assuming it'd still be a lot better than New Super Mario Bros. for the DS. That game was really average and uninspired.
  16. Yes! Awesome game. It's too bad the developer failed to realize what made the game so good and completely messed up Commandos 3. Then they turned the latest game into an FPS and I lost all interest in the series. Another hint for the final screenshot: The gameplay in this post-apocalyptic game is often likened to Uncharted.
  17. Haha, saying it's based on a visual novel just makes me want to check that out instead of watching the anime. :p *Waits patiently for a fan translation* I may check out Chaos;Head while I wait. I hear that's by the same company.
  18. Secret Agent Clank, but close enough. Oh, I google all kinds of things to find out where your screenshots are from. Though Moogle already guessed it (the game is called Soleil in Europe), so... Further hints for the remaining screenshots: 44. In this World War 2 game you control several different characters as they make their way through the missions in many possible ways. 46. The developer behind this game was also responsible for one of the few games that were considered worthwhile during the first year of the PlayStation 3.
  19. It saves on emoticons.
  20. No. Wrong console. Yep. Though I did pretty much give the answer away. :p
  21. You can read it here. Be afraid, Moogle. Be very afraid.
  22. Yep. Haha, you're on fire today. All correct. I'm glad I googled that, because I didn't realize that Crusader of Centy had a different name in Europe. You're right, of course. Hints for the remaining screenshots: 41. Platformer where you play as three different characters. 43. Platformer spin-off starring a character from a well-known series. 44. A non-FPS set during a war! This was the first (of two) games in this five-game series to be released on consoles. 46. Is a current-generation game. The screenshot is of a character who only appears in the DLC.
  23. I've never played any of the Spyro games, so I wouldn't know. :p Both guesses are wrong, sorry.
  24. Don't worry, Tales! You're both wrong. None of these guesses are correct. Sorry. You're way off on 39, but you're on the right track (genre-wise) for the other two. 48 is Portal 2 (or at least that's what it's supposed to be), but close enough!
  25. Yeah, you are. Your other guesses are incorrect.
