So barry scott is dead, does that mean the woman who tried to kill chairdriver was his accomplice previously? If nightwolf is being truthful about what? I remember she said something about being a female character but I don't remember anything else... What did you learn/do last night, then? You must've noticed something. Not a lot in the write-up this time...

When I am me out drinking, not much weird usually happens. Usually I spill my drink, then spill someone elses, then someone spills mine. Often I'll end up talking to some drunk guy having a fag and talk him through his girl problems. As weird as I can remember things ever getting. In previous years weirdness would account for me and my buddy walking home from town at 1am as teh night is 'over', and just generally deciding to stay out all night, talking to random people and ending up seeing a pyramid and a sphinx of sand rising through the fog as the sun rose. That was awesome. The other night my union had that beat-boxing guy from Police Acadamy though! That was weird. Awesome, but weird. Yeah, I dunno, most memories occured without too much "this moment is amazing i need to remember every single detail" and as such I have nothing to say about my life.

Wild Zero If you didn't like it, then you just didn't get it. It's got zombies, UFOs, guns, rock n' roll, transvestites and headshots. B-Movies ftw. Waking Life Seen loads of times now. I always forget how uplifting it can be. No scores because I should've been doing an essay, which automatically gives them minus points for distraction.

in contrast, my night is "what does it take, to get a drink in this place?" (find the quote) Shish Pipe Rape Alley... So yeah. Had two shots of sambua, three pints of strongbow and two bottles of beer... really not trying to sound 'big' or anything but that's hardly a night out. Far too sober! Going to settle in bed with a nice Raymond Carver short story or three.. then ESSAY ATTACK tomorrow. Chee-yars!

Woo green lions! We rock.

So you've not read many books?

Vote: Gaggle64. Same as before. if wrong, shino gets the death tomorrow. Why keep waiting on the present information when there are past problems still yet to be solved? if there's more info revealed tonight then great, all the more stuff to deal with tomorrow. Always better to have more info than none at all.

I have an edward Monkton keyring and my keys and I think that's it! I guess that shows I have no personality, but an awesome sense of humour. EDIT: Oh yeah - I've also got this dog-bone-shaped dog tag that I found in a pile of bones. It's inscribed with the name "mollie" on one side and has a mobile number on the other. I never did get round to letting the owner know. So what does that tell you about me? :/

... I've just realised I'm one of three teams remaining in this division that were in it last season... It's going to be random.
-
AAnd I hope that proves that I'm good enough to be in the top division; beating Mcoy on the last game of the season and beating FC Creamola 2-0 in the friendly.

Is there any element of gaming you wish were real?

hells yes! that would be awesome -
I'm sitting here reading Shelley's Adonais and Byron's Childe Harold’s Pilgrimage, Keat's Ode to a Nightingale and Wordsworth's Tintern Abbey. Just missing Coleridge, Blake and a few of the ladies now. How pretentious am i? I find I get distracted when revising for an essay, and I end up doing background reading on what I'm currently reading... Tis good at the end, though, when I end up with references to philosophy and psychology journals. Not so great when I have two days to do the essay itself. Got some exam results back! for the first time I can remember, I did just as good - if not better in the exams over coursework. Something of a real surprise, I can assure you. I really need to start recognising that I could do half decent if I put more than a couple of days into something. Erm yeah. Sorry I don't actually have anything interesting to say :P

Well I think that there's a sort of person who knows what they want to do with their life, and will focus on that, somehow having the drive to get to that point. Then there's... well, us. Some people have a sort of aged-25-finished-uni-become-airplane-engineer sort of plan... My plans generally consist of the rest of the week. Not knowing anything about your future is depressing, and having some security taken away from you really sucks. I had it with my ex -- I mean, when we were together I just thought "ok, finish uni, get a job, live with her, have kids.. sorted", but as soon as that went I was just like, looming over this pit of the-rest-of-my-life. When all you can see ahead of you are challenges and no goal, it's real hard to find the effort to hurdle them. Sometimes looking at the past, and seeing how you've accomplished so much already can help... but sometimes it just reminds you of how much better things were then, or how much older you are (and thus closer to being UNCOOL and not 20-something anymore)... I'm going to give educating myself a shot. Give myself a two-year plan, then see what happens. It's a crapload of work and I'm a wuss at working ahead of schedule, but, as The Fish said, there's always the day after tomorrow. I don't know the solutions. I don't think I ever will. All I try and do is make sure there's something in the near, intermediate and far future to look forward to, to drive towards. Currently there's tuesday night (yay no more essay), then easter hols (yay drunkenness with Ashley), then summer (yay meet-up, and yay job). Things to sort out? Hair, beard, fat, money, essay, module choices, find a girl, make more friends. Ashley; you're just dazed by all the free time. More free time = more time to think and wallow.

I get £40 a week from my dad too You will be among the rich elite with all that dosh for sure! It's fine to have an overdraft for emergencies so long as you don't treat it as your money, and so long as you don't go through a break-up and end up porking-out on take-aways and a crapload of alcohol, and spending over £200 on dvds, and then some on games, books, drugs, whatever... I came in here to basically say; omgomgmo! The episode I've just started watching of Veronica Mars has the kid from Superbad in and the return of this other character *awesome* *stares at essay* *closes window*

Hmm... I'll need to question the uni about this RE: masters options... like, do they pay me? Do I get a loan? WTF etc. something like that, then there's the means-assessed grants that you don't have to pay back that can be up to somesortofnumber, and bursaries (hallam does them, fyi) circa £700 a year/first year, I forget. I could check it out properly... Yeah I could live off £15 a week fairly easily, but it's too easy to buy the little snack things instead of bread and butter, y'know? I've probably spent too much on christmas and birthdays this year... my long term goal is to be out of my overdraft, with no savings or capital, around april '09 :P *starts eating the paper out of his books*

Well us normal plebs probably find it just as hard to get 80% at a regular, mortal university as grunchie does in fantasyland. Damn you! *cries*

Actually yes, they do. The loans (and grants) generally come in three installments - august/september, january and april. The april installment for me last year was approximately £500 larger than the others. When you move into a flat, some landlords offer half-price rent over teh summer if you're going to be living back 'home' with your folks. Unfortunately, mine does not. But going home will work out cost effective (higher income, lower outgoings). I think I'm going to start taking out all the money I'll need for the week in advance, thus controlling my spending a bit more. I think I'm averaging about £130 a week when I can only afford £100 -- or at least, that's what I could afford if I'd stuck to budget. Technically I probably can't really afford £60 a week :P £10 a day sounds manageable, but a night out is double that, and I'm just plain awful at buying food without wasting a third of it by not eating it. ... rambling aside... er, yeah. Uni rox \m/

Grunch; PhD would be awesome. I would love to be a doctor lollers... We'll see how it all goes. Next year is probably at least double the workload of this one, and I forsee money being a fucking problem and a half by then. Will be working all summer, but that's just going to pay for my rent all summer... mmmm... budget food...
