    Ok, got my fairy-tale plot DOWN. unknowing, unambiguous prince; proud, vain antagonist king; sly, protective witch; symbolic, magical objects; a quest; talking animals; subverted gender roles; once upon a time and happily ever after. Just need names that allude to morals/sex, a specific choice of objects, animals and bad fruit (i want a spoon, and maybe a topsy-turvy world), then I'll kick at it, yo.

    Yarp. I really wanted to go for the cryptic one, as I've always wanted to be good at them when in reality I'm utterly atrocious. I just picked a Q and went with it. I like teh whole sleuthing-around-the-net thing, rather than it just being a googleable Q. Come on you other lazy forumites!

    I still believe that we're all going about these games in vaguely the wrong way. Because of the sheer number of people playing, it may be absolutely ages until any detectives get any information, and even then we'll have the whole ooh but can we trust YOU?! debate with them for a day and a half, where they end up saying "well if I'm wrong then lynch me tomorrow"... Not everyone is going to survive. The quicker nights come around the quicker the detectives can get to work. When we have no info what use is it to bicker!

    went to bed at 4, then woke up at 6, 8, 10. Did not savour the last sleep I'll be getting for a while at all; I may not have a dissertation due (fewls leaving THAT to the last moment, I say), but I do have 3k words to do. Got mah cold pizza stacked, and will get the coke for later. Should be good!

    A better one for the intro would be "Insert Coin" imo... And I think presentation-wise, it'll be better if you avoid images - unless they were icon-style avatar-esque boxes like the news icons on the front page here. I'm often a presentation whore, mind. I've spent 20 minutes adjusting the title "Restraintless" for my short story portfolio into an array of randomly-sized fonts, with odd italicising/bolding etc. </nonsense>

    "The cake is a lie" seems fairly apt for Obesity, non? Maybe "The princess is in another castle" for addiction? "Choose your destiny" is fairly epic... All I can really think of right now...

    Haggis is a Pro mafia player, so leave 'im alone. Postin' to say I know nuffink. Vote: No Lynch for now. Speeding up the days might give the mafia more chances, but it gives the investigators/protectors amongst us to do their shizzle too. A body for info? Sure, when there's a kajillion people playing.

    I've no idea if you're still doing this essay, but can I ask what aspects you're looking at? His interactions with other characters? His speech? Nis naivity? If you want to send me your first draft I can give you a few pointers, hints, tips, clues, hazards, chances, bungo bongos.

Not that it'll solve anything, I'm just hoping you'll have a method for turning it back on when you figure how to shut it down Yesterday I went t'pub, usual shenanigans. Hopped in a taxi to town to find the good clubs all closed! So hopped straight into a taxi, and stopped off at an off-licence and took the booze to theirs. Watched Fearless, and the bits I remember were awesome. EXCITEMENT WOW ETC GENERIC BLAH. Meh. Samey, samey, world so samey.

    why thank you It's how poetry goes, isn't it? As a teen you get all angst and overburden everything with clichéd darkness, then you move onto ambiguity and novel metaphors to look right clever. I suppose next is seeing the beauty in the mundane and detritus of the world, and later I get all satirical, followed by a bit of wisteria and romantic reminiscence.
