    Ok, I suspect the dude with Jack's wife (as I'm sure he's only played a bastard in everything he's been in), Tony, the guy Jack shot with a dart gun thing, and I think the black-haired youth that kidnapped teh girl is probably actually a really nice guy blah blah blah. I don't think the black obama-predecessor dude is entirely safe either, but I don't know. Plus I don't think I've met all of the characters yet, I'm sure more people will pop up to zomg-it-urp.

    Well I've actually read Ender's Game. The old people sending the young in to fight an uncecessary war based upon misunderstandings and deception for the promise of some abstract honour, or for the purpose of patriotism is NOT a novel concept, nor one necessarily portrayed better by EG or ST. One is a sci-fi novel whose whole point is really the game room/the twist at the end, while the other is all about using humour to depict what a joke wars are. So it depends what point you think is more important in order for you to choose which medium put it across better. Ender's Game very early on was structured to become a trilogy (admittedly, later six books) which means that the whole message was not contained within the single book alone. I think the point gets across better in the movie, but simply because it's a sentiment that most people actually share these days anyway, so a satire is teh easiest way to get the audience on your side. N'stuff. Tired of writing now.

    24 s01 e01-04 Only, what, 8 years late to the party. I accidentally watched episode 2 before the first episode, which was surprisingly only slightly confusing. Primarily, the soundtrack is noticably taut and INTENSE, which sort of puts me off a little; I don't need reminding that time is of teh essense, or anything. I'm sure I'll be wrong, but at the moment it seems fairly 'obvious' that certain characters are going to fuck other characters over -- but I'm up for waiting and seeing

I stayed up 'til 8am watching HOUSE and eating pizza and playing a little xbox. Gotten back into my self-destructive pattern of sleeping during daylight hours. Got uni at 10am tomorrow so I may just play Condemned all night. LALALA! LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaa. Fuck you.

    I've spent about 62 hours on the game so far, and I've just started American Dream (please, someone tell me what the name of the last mission is!). I love finding places, but I have no idea how many places there are in total. I've got to get 5 more quantum colas (drank a bunch before i got the mission...), find the oasis and paradise falls, but I don't know what the other missions do. I reckon i might have all the basic schematics, and a fair few lvl 2/3 ones. 9 bobbleheads! Woop woop.

    Moogle; halls of residence generally all have everything included. Some places charge you for internet access, but it's rare. I think once clearance day passes, you should receive a pack from your uni that includes accomodation details. Be careful where you choose - some places may not even have internet! wtf!

    Wtf you've got all the achievements bar those? I thought they'd be easy enough to get as you go through the game... Perhaps go to the Raider-infested places like the bed & breakfast, as they constantly seem to re-appear there. Or just go on some killing sprees in rivet city/megaton? I think most of the residents in the towers have computers, too, but I'm not totally sure. I can't really remember any places with loads of computers, though. Each of the power plants on the map has one to unlock a safe, and there's at least four of those, amirite?

    Went to bed at SIX AY EM. Watched FIVE episodes of house from about 4am, for no reason in particular. Woke up at 4am! Now I got me some Lost/Supernatural to watch before we smallville/hustle-it-up later tonight, boooo ya! Excitingisms. Waaah I'm getting surnamed! Am I the arsehole in question? I know it's paranoid/egotistical, but I do wonder. EDIT Dante, that's the third time in a day you've posted it, or something!

    3-2 ^_^ very pleased with the result - despite the opposition being at the bottom of the league, I thought they'd be massive hassle! I think that's pretty much it, now. I'll be VERY lucky if I manage to pull off the same feats against the same teams on the return leg; I predict at least 3 losses in a row from here-on out

    ^ That's what I did. I plugged 20 hours into creeping around, shotgunning-people-in-the-face. I couldn't get into DC for all the soup mutes, so I just went off galavanting around trying to pick off any raiders I came across from a distance. Then I went from Normal to Very Easy, and I'm now lvl 20 with another 35 hours of the game under my belt, having enjoyed it muuuch more because of it. There are no achievements for doing it on a harder difficulty besides the general self-hi-5 you'll give yourself eventually. The game is easier once you get a few better weapons, and after a while you're not struggling for stimpaks or ammo too much. The mission 'Riley's Rangers' was probably the turning point, for me.
