Well if you want to go all OED on me; miaowed, meowed NOR mewed are in the OED. The latter, at least, not in the sense to which you claim is 'correct', so shall we start focusing on grammar or can we agree that I was right in teh first place? Pedantry only gets us so far! Yeah that's got to have been the main complaint I've heard from everyone. I had to reassure my dad that the first episode has the worst of it, which it does... I guess all that happens is that in my head it goes from "2 weeks ago" to "the holiday bit" and "13 months ago" to "when the president got elected and they were still in prison and stuff." my dad argues that there's no reason why the show wouldn't work if it was just shown chronologically. But then he doesn't like being on the edge of his seat having to spend his brain power on just keeping up. I don't mind it.

I get what you mean about being like that with safety - but really for kids it's not a big deal. Lower centre of gravity means the fall wouldn't be that bad and they're far more agile then us fat blobs of adults are.
