  1. I found it sickening... ... sickeningly brilliant that is! Genuinely can't wait to see the next one and it makes me kind of wish for more TV programmes of this quality.
  2. Downloaded the update, liking it so far but it'll take a little bit of getting used to... Managed to download an 'app' by voice with Kinect not even havign to touch the controller so the integration seems solid enough but I'm not really liking the fact that when you sign in to Xbox Live you're immediately seeing adverts... of course it's effective advertising but it's annoying to the user, or at least to me. But overall I guess it looks nicer but it'll be a week or so before it really proves its worth with me.
  3. And my Xbox keeps updating every time I play a game, never had this before and I know how you're supposed to 'fix' it - clear the cache - but it all feels too coincidental being so close to the update.
  4. Well, it's the 6th and the new dashboard doesn't appear to be live yet... perhaps it goes live at a specific time.
  5. Flink you troll so well... ... but you're also so right, Rated R by Queens of the Stone Age is a fantastic album and one that I've enjoyed many times over much like Songs for the Deaf which I also love; but yes Feel Good Hit of the Summer in particular is a great track, it might only be the same words repeated over but it's brilliantly effective. 'Nictotine, Valium, Vicodin, Marijuana, Ecstasy and Alcoholllllllll' 'C-C-C-C-Cocaaaaaaaine!'
  6. Well either way Rated R is clearly still her best album - to me at least - I decided to give it another listen today and it feels on an entirely different level to both Loud and Talk That Talk as it feels genuinely well-crafted all the way through. Maybe it's because I listened to Loud a little too much at the time and so now it feels too familiar to me, either way I'm kind of over it as an album but I still love select songs from it. Anyway, I still haven't given Night of Hunters by Tori Amos a listen so that shall be my next priority as I've been hearing that it's rather good, plus 50 Words For Snow by Kate Bush which is also vying for my attention.
  7. What if it had been a Moogle?
  8. After searching the above I'd have to agree though it doesn't make this crime any less sick.
  9. True... there are a good few tracks on Loud which are really good, Man Down clearly being one of the best, it almost makes me wish the best halves of both albums were combined together as then in theory it'd be better but then it probably wouldn't flow as well though tbh Loud never really did 'flow' to me even though it has some great tracks but Talk That Talk just feels a lot more concise to me. Both albums are great in their own way though.
  10. Recently I've been listening to Talk That Talk by Rihanna and I must say that I'm rather impressed as the album easilly surpasses Loud which was enjoyable at first but then got rather repetitive though still remained listenable, but then this latest album was brought out due to the success of it so it's fine. But yes... the single We Found Love I initially thought wasn't bad at first when listened to on its own, upon hearing it in context on the album it actually becomes a rather decent track and this is comign from someone who really doesn't like Calvin Harris; it's mainly his voice that I despise but because he's only adding the backing track to it - with no vocals mercifully - it actually works really well on this track. Anyway, I'm on my third listen or so now and the album is really starting to prove its worth, there are maybe one or two tracks that'll still need more listens but other than that my only complaint is... 'cake! cake! cake! cake! cake! cake! cake! cake! cake! cake! cake! cake!' I want more of it! I suppose it works well as a kind of jokey interlude though but it still leaves me wondering what the whole track would have sounded like; it's not a deal-breaker though and I'd still say the album is well worth purchasing for anyone who has even a passing interest in Rihanna as it's one of her better albums.
  11. Happy Birthday Guys!
  12. Wow I totally wasn't expecting that I had wondered if such a feature existed in Skyward Sword but I didn't think that it'd be hidden away in such a manner, pretty awesome though.
  13. I've added @Aneres11 @londragon @Cube and @ReZourceman Cube... I didn't know that you'd already added me, I should have added you ages ago lol nevermind, you're added now if you want to play a few multiplayer games over the weekend either for the review or just for fun then let me know. : peace:
  14. @welsh_gamer thanks for the games last night - I joined your session in progress - twas great fun, you're rather skilled btw hope to race you again soon. @Debug Mode I've joined the N-Europe community, hopefully will get to race with/against a good few of you tonight/tomorrow, I'll be on from 10PM most likely.
  15. My copy of Zelda : Skyward Sword has arrived! And now I have to go to work... But at least I still get to play it a day early I sense an all-night play-session coming on tonight.
  16. Getting the game two days early and cheaper than most places = better than having to hold out longer for the game because of some headphones... although even I'll admit they do look pretty nice. This game is utterly fantastic, I've 'finished' the main game which I was blown away by, but the post-game? Without wanting to spoil anything major all I'll say is this game just keeps on giving; even with the number of levels it has in total I suppose it could still be considered 'short' but damn is it sweet.
  17. My copy arrived today too interestingly ShopTo site says that both it and Skyward Sword were dispatched yesterday so... there is a small possibility that Zelda might turn up in the 'later post' which sometimes arrived in the afternoon. For now though I'm more than happy with Mario.
  18. Hence poor review, as the reviewer was 'doing it wrong' like a complete idiot but like I said this is the kind of unprofessional journalism that I would expect from such a poor site that doesn't take the time to review games properly.
  19. Damn... I knew Gamespot sucked but this is a low blow, was it really worth knocking down the metascore of this game a whole Three Points for the sake of controversy and a few extra hits? The answer is no but then I'd expect no less from such a poor site. Ultimately I know this game will always be amazing and that Gamespot will always be despicable so I can learn to deal quite easily. Anyway I should have my copy tomorrow and once I'm playing I won't care about a damn thing. [/apathy]
  20. Nice to see this thread branching out a bit more.
  21. Thanks Mike Knowing this now makes me want the game even more.
