Smaller, lighter Gamepad redesign ahoy? Better still redesign the console as well, rebrand it, bundle with Mario Kart 8, ensure price point is no more than £200, ????? , Profit! : peace:
-
You and me both! Its been on my wish-list for seemingly an eternity! In fact it's been so long now that the Monster Hunter games have become almost a natural replacement for it as never has a game had me so hooked since PSO.
-
It really is unbelievable isn't it? I really love the humble Gamecube memory card, I have a 251 block memory card solely devoted to Sega games which contains my 2000 hour + PSO save, still works to this very day. :awesome: I'll be totally devastated the day that ceases to work.

Even if you save stuff to a hard drive if you send in your Wii U and they send you back a different console then you wouldn't be able to use the hard drive with the new console, if you get back the same one then maybe there is a chance but then again if the NNID is erased then how would it be able to tell that they are your save files? So many issues with the system it's unreal. I'm really gutted for you @Blade truly from one Monster Hunter to another. If you need any help getting back to where you were on MH3U then you only need call on the N-E *Brotherhood. *however many of us are still playing anyway, I've been playing it recently as I've been helping Orihime get back to where she was.
-
As far as I know, if you delete your NNID from your console then you have to make a new one as it simply ceases to exist. Yet as long as you have the same console you can then make a new NNID and still have access to the games providing they weren't deleted. This information may not be entirely correct but it's how I understand it as I heard this happened to @Orihime when she had her first Wii U. It's a completely messed up setup that Nintendo have regarding accounts.

Well... it's a good way to try and recoup development costs of the original game I suppose. I'm sure it sold enough to break even but I was always under the impression that it didn't sell phenomenally well the first time around, incidentally I bought the game when it was under £20 and still didn't get around to playing it. I don't think I'll be buying this on release somehow but maybe later on down the line.

I've been really enjoying just spending a couple of hours a night playing this. I didn't quite 'get it' on the PS3 plus it was the game that nearly killed my original 60GB NTSC PS3 but now on my whisper quiet PS4 the timing has never been better and I'm enjoying it so much. Oh and naturally because this is my first ever 'proper' playthrough I'm playing it on Grounded difficulty from the very start... :awesome: ...at this rate I should finish it within a week but I'm enjoying it so it's cool. : peace:

I must have misread this earlier, but now I feel the need to ask the question... Are the Ganondorf skins only if you buy the 'GAME limited - squeezing you for every penny - edition' or is it for registering the standard edition too?
-
This! I want to see 'dat door opening animation' in Ayccccche Deeeeee!
-
Whoooooooah! Hype! But... I must say that no Wii U version is a slap in the face here, especially as REmake originated on the Gamecube... ...not that I'll let that stop me buying this on PS4 though! I wonder if we'll finally get a Resi 2 HD remake as well, surely it's a given?
-
Forget it GAME! I don't want the scarf that badly! Just give me my boxed copy on the day with my Ganondorf DLC and I'll be happy! : peace: Though why in the hell Ganondorf is DLC and not just in the game from default, I have no idea.
-
In that case I would say just stick with the Wii U version. : peace: If the PS4 version was the definitive release of it then I would have probably said it might be worth trading up to it but I don't think that's the case here, personally I've now re purchased two games on the PS4 that I already had on other formats, those being Tomb Raider and now The Last of Us - which is just Hnnnnnnnnnnggggh! but I wish I had more time to play eet - but I think the Wii U version of Rayman is perfectly decent even if the game isn't quite as good as some reviews would have you believe; for the Rayman series it's still something of a revelation!
-
If you already have the Wii U version then personally I'd just sell the PS4 version of it while it's still going for a reasonable price, I'm assuming it was bundled with the PS4? Equally though if you wanted to play through it again at some point then hang onto eeeet! : peace:

Personally I thought the latest trailer doing the rounds on the TV looked awful, but then I've never seen any of the Expendables films so I'm probably not qualified to comment. It's just that the original film seemed to at least have some merit to it, then to a lesser extent the second one - probably on-par with the first I'm guessing? - but the third just seems like a quick cash-in; at least that's the 'trailer impression' that I got from it.

I have some faith still, just that I'm trying to understand just how they are going to work while not being open to people just borrowing them to unlock content in games thus negating at least half of the point to them. Nintendo may have some huge master plan for them yet but for all we know as of yet they are only confirmed to work with a couple of games so it does make you wonder, if for the current RRP for instance it was confirmed that there are at least five titles that you will be able to use them on including now and the future - taking 'now' to mean from Smash Bros release - then that might encourage more people to actually buy them. : peace: Perhaps we'll get third party Amiibo's in the future too, I'd love one for Monster Hunter!
-
But what I mean is, couldn't you effectively just borrow someone's Amiibo figure in order to use it just to unlock content in a new game regardless of the other data saved on it? Though this is Nintendo we are talking about, so perhaps they will find some way of locking it to a certain number of consoles.
-
Essentially though when you boil it down, the NFC tech in each figure is just an unlock key as I understand it, so if additional content is to be programmed into other games released after Super Smash Bros then the content will be already in the games, your figure is merely the key to unlocking them; a small bit of data may be written to them for Smash Bros but beyond that, who knows? What would actually be stopping people from just swapping figures in order to unlock the content instead of buying more?
-
This arrived for me... ...but I've got work. I'll be lucky if I'm playing the game 12 hours from now but still, at least it's here! : peace:
-
If anyone would like their Miiverse screens of the Megaman games included in VC Weekly 302 then feel free to post a link to them in here and I'll do my best to include some of them, all properly credited. : peace:

You're right, I've just become a bit disillusioned with it all I think, in all likelihood I will keep at it as there are quite a few women on there that I like it's just that sometimes you try as in you send a message, things are going well with regular replies etc and then suddenly the messages stop for no apparent reason. Or the other one is I've sent a message, got a really positive reply but then nothing after that. Perhaps I'm getting it wrong but I thought I was going about it the right way, send the first message introducing myself, literally write a line or two trying to start a conversation about their interests, mention one of my interests - especially if they are similar - compliment them on one of their photos and leave it at that. I just figured that sending an initial message that is at least a small sentence or two long gives them something to go on rather than 'Hi my name's Sam, what's yours?' so I don't really know where I'm going wrong or indeed if I am at this point. Anyway thanks for the words of encouragement/advice guys, it's always good to get some perspective on things like this. : peace:

Losing 2000 VR score sounds rather substantial... ...if you're worried about that kind of thing. I'm not personally but I can understand how annoying/frustrating this could be so I hope that this situation sorts itself out but equally if it doesn't then life goes on I suppose. Now I don't mean to trivialise the situation but I just don't have much else to say other than that, best of luck anyway. : peace:

I really can't be bothered with the whole online dating thing any more, nothing but false hope based purely on numbers etc. Not that I'm trying to demean anyone who met on a dating site, if it worked out for you then that's great, really it is - I'm not even being sarcastic I actually mean it - but for me it would seem that it just doesn't really work. Now that I've posted that I'll probably get a message or something on the site - yeah right - but it can be so disheartening sometimes, even if it is 'just a numbers game' as some will keep telling me on here I'm sure... That it may be but if that's the case then I wish there was a way to play the system, as anything with numbers involved can be exploited I'm sure. Meh... anyway back to staring at a blank drawing board.
