This in turn raises an interesting question... Once you have the full range of Eevee required for all of its evolutions, where do you get all of the elemental stones from? Is it a case of... go to store, make an in-app purchase of £3.99 per stone? :p I'm just curious, as I'm aware that you need to buy some stuff if you want to make some progress or at least that's how I assume it to be, I was just wondering how much has been locked to in-app purchases.

Yooka-Laylee socks! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/964197146/bryt-socks-20-the-ultimate-colorful-socks?ref=user_menu Some super-early bird prices still available, I went for six pairs though you will need to choose at least four different designs with that tier, still that's two pairs of limited edition Yooka-Laylee socks for... not that much at all.

Seems I already bought it last year, a great deal for anyone who doesn't have it yet though. Tesco have their two game pre-orders for £80 deal back on, you have to pay for the games in advance but still... works out cheaper than some places, I just ordered Horizon Zero Dawn and No Man's Sky, got the both of them for £64 in the end thanks to 20% staff discount this week only.

Happy Birthday @Josh64! Don't forget to make a wish for that Sonic Heroes sequel. I wish you the best of luck in tracking down AKMU while you're in Japan. :p Above all though, have fun over there, brother bear! : peace:

Sonic Heroes 2 or bust... :p I would seriously play that though. So many hopes and dreams for this one, I'm sure that both @Josh64 and @Cube in particular share in the potential hype for what could be an excellent Sonic title. A new Sonic Generations style title has been rumoured I'm sure, which would definitely make sense but personally for me, I would love a new 2D release in the series, Sonic 5 maybe? So like what was done with Sonic 4 a few years ago but with obviously better physics and more original zones. Super Sonic being playable within all of the acts is obviously a key classic element which would be great to see again, which naturally means it will need a proper Special Stage or... y'know, just copy the best one from Sonic 2 again. Or just shake up the formula again, of course it's a gamble as we could end up with something amazing like Sonic Colours or something less inspiring such as Sonic Boom; but that's like playing the slot machine in the Casino Night Zone... it's worth running the risk of triple Robotniks, if we end up with that elusive triple Jackpot then it may well just end up being a 25th Anniversary to remember for all the right reasons. : peace: Just please no Shadow the Hedgehog 2 or Sonic '16 with "realistic" physics and broken gameplay.

I ended up backing System Shock as well. Here's one for the shmup fans...

Hmm what's the deal with Gravity Rush HD Remastered? It has been out of stock on ShopTo for ages - since before E3 - I have it on backorder but I just searched online and by chance 365games had ONE copy left, so I bagged it for just under £18 - yes I know the sale price is less than a tenner on PSN for digital but... 'dat physical box - which happens to be my first order with the company as well; it's nice to have more buying options I guess. But it just struck me as odd that there seemed to be stock issues for a HD remaster which has been out for a little while now at least. Oh well, I'm glad to have finally ordered a copy, let's hope it arrives safe and sound. : peace:

I just pledged £52 towards it. Though I don't know why I didn't pledge before now... that's a really awesome book plus an excellent soundtrack CD to go with it. Ah well, it's closer to getting that lenticular cover now.

But even after unlinking your NNID from the Wii U console, you can't then just link it to a new Wii U in the future, can you? Plus even when it's unlinked, once it's deleted from that Wii U console, doesn't it cease to exist or something similar? Now even I'm confused...
-
As in trasnferring stuff from the Wii U back to the Wii? Not as far as I'm aware... you can transfer stuff from Wii to Wii U once but that's about it. The whole situation is a mess, I know it sounds daft but if you don't want to lose anything, then your only option is to keep your Wii U.
-
As far as I know, you lose everything unless you have a My Nintendo account linked to a NNID but even then it's not clear. Essentially though, if you sell your Wii or Wii U, don't expect to have access to all of the games you bought at this point. It's a really terrible system, worst of all apparently Nintendo can do some kind of transfer on their end which they will only perform in dire circumstances which is hardly ideal.

I always took the Europe in N-E to be a reflection of the way in which games have been released in different territories for years... USA - Japan - Europe (Including the U.K) and Australia so I would have thought that we won't have to change the site name at least. Besides, we have an excellent community here on the forums which I hope isn't suddenly going to change as a result of this vote. My feelings on the matter is that whichever way the vote happened to go, it wouldn't change how I feel about the site and the members of our forum; personally I love this site along with everyone here who makes the place what it is. Nothing political or otherwise will change this and I just hope that this outcome will turn out to be a positive one for everyone in time.

Happy Birthday @Animal!

It doesn't come with the game code sadly. You would think at this point, Nintendo would consider selling the game with the fit meter for £14.99 or less... I mean the original price was £19.99 for the fit meter which at the launch of the game got you it for free when you connected the fit meter during the trial period, it was a really good deal! Now though... the device isn't much good without the software plus the Wii U could well be in its final year so it would almost be a gesture of good will for Nintendo to make the software for Wii Fit U cheap surely?

That's terrible Shorty. As bob said, perhaps asking your place of work for some time off so you could visit him would be a good idea? In any case, I wish your dad well and if you need to talk about it then we're always here for you.
