I've currently got 4 films, despite the fact you should only have 3 at a time!
-
Argh right, so just make sure I get everything back to them, and cancel before the end of the trial and should get refunded. Cheers Ten10!! Anyone else noticed they've had a charge/charges?
-
I'm on the 90 LoveFilm free trial... do LoveFilm take a £1 deposit for all of your rentals? I phoned up my credit card the other day and they were reading out my latest charges, and they said I had... 1, 2, 3, 4, 5... £5 for LoveFilm, and then another £1 a couple of days later. Well I've rented 6 films so that would make sense, but I didn't read anywhere about a charge or deposit whilst on the free trial. I assume the charge is a £1 deposit for each film, which is refunded when the film if returned, right?

Ah, ok then!

WTF - the myth is curly hair! Why when pubes are always curly, would there be a myth about bread doing it? You don't have straight ones do you? - And the myth about Santa and Coca Cola is that Santa was previously dressed in green, until Coca Cola turned his clothes red and white for an ad. campaign.

Completey agree! Mario Tennis 64 was absolutely awesome... awesome! especially in multiplayer. And I didn't buy the sequel because of the addition of the character special shots and the gimmicks. However, you can apparently turn off the character special shots, and I think the motion controls will add a lot of fun. And it's only £25, so I think I'm gonna get this!

Although expected, Red Steel 2 confirmed for fiscal year 2009-2010

Another New Trailer [^] http://www.gametrailers.com/player/44658.html They're doing some great work on this! - Voice work is excellent - Story seems a good one - Some great visuals on the locations etc... Only thing i'm not sure about yet is the gameplay! I'm not saying it bad, I just don't know what it's about yet, or what to expect. There seems to be a camera you can use, which is linke to some sort of motion controlled battle system... anyone know if we can expect adventuring? [like Tomb raider or Uncharted], I guess there'll be some puzzle solving?... Anyways, definately one to watch!

Psychology Coursework: Coolness Bears Needs You!
Retro_Link replied to Coolness Bears's topic in General Chit Chat
haha, I remember my doing my psychology coursework. I did it on the realiability of eyewitness testimony, and how the questions you ask witnesses can determine the outcomes they give, such as leading questions etc... Was quite fun actually. I had people watch a pink panther cartoon and then asked questions. Anyways, yeah I'll help out. -
You may know a fair few of these, but I just read this article and found it quite interesting. It's like the stuff you see them say on QI and it sets the alarm off! Anyone got any other misconceptions/myths/urban legends? Who knows, you may learn something!

Good rant! They get it right when they say... Just sign it! I don't use Facebook, but would a Winter facebook page be any good? that people could link to from their own pages. And couldn't we start some sort of poster campaign, with a poster like... And are they really right about Boom Blox, but more specifically De Blob! approaching 1 million sales?!

Stupid Donnington: As soon as the Midget is forced out/retires, I reckon Silverstone wil get reinstated anyway. He's the one with the problem about it, I reckon the rest of the racing world would quickly welcome one of the worlds most iconic/important/historic tracks back. Get rid of him! Luca DeMontizemola has already said Bernie should step down, and that it's time the teams had more say and can gave the public exactly what they want, which included less of Bernies crappy street circuits and the importance of keeping classic style tracks. Oh and why the government wouldn't fund Silverstones needed upgrades, but will support a COMPLETE donnington redevelopment is beyond me!

I don't really get your point! Gametrailers say they aren't including FFXIII as it's unlikely to make it out in '09, But then go and include COD5[6], which hasn't even been announced and thus also shouldn't be on this list.
-
I'll be buying that then! If only it had online!
-
I think this looks incredible!...

Gametrailers: Most Anticipated Games of '09 http://www.gametrailers.com/player/44625.html Nice list, but how does that work... they don't include games like FFXIII as it may not make it out in '09, yet Call of Duty 5[6] is no.2 on there list!! And that hasn't even been properly announced yet!

The Kingdom Thought it started a little slow, but actually it was pretty well structured and paced. Action really ramps up in the second half and it's great stuff. Great performances from all the cast, and a story that portrays this aspect of the war on terrorism well. There are some right basterds out there!! 7.5/10

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles : Echoes of Time
Retro_Link replied to Dante's topic in Nintendo Gaming
When's this game out in Japan [with the Crystal Bearers demo]? -
The graphics are just awesome!! Prison Break zombie action!
-
The Olympics one sold incredibly well, and with the Winter Olympics in 2010, it would make sense for them to bring a sequel out for this Winter '09.

Should be getting the new Crystal Bearers video soon then! -
There are quite a few easy ones in there. Try Waluigi Stadium.

OK, so I left it a long time, but until the last few weeks I'd never seen a Rocky film before!... I know!! I just wasn't sure I was that fussed about seeing them, wasn't sure if I was that bothered about a series of boxing films... But OMG!! am I glad I decided to see what the fuss was about and sit down and watch Rocky I !!!! They are just SO much more [than what I was expecting] and I now totally get it! And once I'd seen the first one I just couldn't stop watching them! I watched the first 5 online over a couple of days and then ordered the box set to watch Rocky Balboa, as I couldn't find an English version online, and because I knew this would be the first of many viewings of the series!! Sure not all the films were quite up to standard, but some of them are now right up there with my favourite films of all time! just AWESOME!! Something like this... Rocky - 9/10 Rocky II - 9/10 Rocky III - 8/10 Rocky IV - 6.5/10 Rocky V - 5/10 Rocky Balboa - 8.5/10

Yeah I agree! Joking aside, I think all the cars [with the exception of the Renault] are much better than I think anyone was expecting!
