ROFL! hilarious!

Yeah that advert annoys me aswell, is all levels of annoying, but topped off by the fact the moving eyebrows [the whole point of the ad], aren't even in any sort of time for most of it!

Twitter is one step too far imo. I honestly think it's slightly wierd and creepy to let people know everything you are doing!... got up, having a shower, leaving the house etc... It's like reverse 'stalkerism'. It uses 'followers'. 'I'm following you' is just strange. What's the point? for attention seeking? And honestly I think it's kinda sad that you'd want to 'follow' people's every move! or that you'd want people to know your moves!

indeed! but nonetheless, you can't dispute being alone and isolated would make for a better experience, than fighting alongside others.

Well removing a partner who is constantly doing half the work for you, would make the game more tense no? and this might go some way to actually restoring a somewhat scary experience.

It depends on context doesn't it. Neither of the games you've mentioned come with the atmosphere a classic Resi game creates through use of darkness/light/weather/the unknown, a CONSTANT feeling of tension; which builds into fear and scare.

well you have your own opinion, but to me, horror means being fearful and scared, and tension gives you this. Never knowing if something is going to crash through a window/burst out at you from behind a closed door fills you with tension, it makes you feel on edge and makes the game scary! that's horror!

Yeah didn't they say if they were going to get a buy out it would be by the end of Jan? They'll miss out on all the on-track '09 bodywork and KERS reliability [though they may have already done some KERS] testing if they don't get something sorted soonish!

Well yeah it does! At the very least, if you were having to worry about protecting your collegue [like ashley], on top of fending off everyone, at least it would make the experience somewhat tense! At least some tention would help rekindle some kind of a scary Resi feeling; as opposed to all out action gun slinging!

Gametrailers Resident Evil Retrospective: Part I http://www.gametrailers.com/player/45114.html REmake just looks SO good! It amazes me everytime I see it! I know it's all pre-rendered, but it looks as good as Resi 5 does now! Imagine what the potential would be if they returned the series to it's pre-rendered roots!... or I dunno, maybe there isn't a great deal more you could do! I know there's the arguement over wanting Resi 2/3 REmakes vs. them being a waste of time and people preferring to have new entries in the series. But I for one would absolutely love the chance to play through an updated version of those games; whether they be pre-rendered, or somehow slightly more like Resi 4. And I think especially if the new entries, Resi 5, 6, 7... are gonna keep moving more towards action adventure, then there is a place for some truely scary REmakes! and a reward for fans of the original style.

I was pleased because it was better than I expected. Before I saw it I thought it was probably being WAY overated, and whilst I didn't think it was groundbreaking, I thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyed it! There was such a good atmosphere in the cinema, people were really getting into it and rooting for the characters, and we were somewhat playing along with millionaire etc... it was one of the most enjoyable cinema experiences i've had!

That all depends on the effort they put into Dead Space though doesn't it! If it goes the way of Dead Rising Wii, then yeah expect much of the same! If it goes the way of Resi 4 Wii then you'll see many a happy forumer and plenty of praise for EA!

OMG! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! much snow here in the south midlands!! I saw it start snowing at 1.00am last night, and it hasn't stopped snowing until now [8:23am], and it's getting heavier and thicker! Uni trip has been cancelled and all lectures are off. Good thing because it's too dangerous to drive or walk far in this!

Say WHAT!! Though spose lightgun games in geeral aren't usually very long. Hope in that case it has LOADS of unlockable features/minigames/modes!

Absolutely LOADS of snow here!! It hadn't really melted since the big snowfall on Monday, it snowed a little on Tuesday, then another BIG snowfall last night!! Lovin it!
