I reckon they've gone for something that really intergrates in well with the diffuser, so it might not be prettiest solution, but if it gets the job done! I couldn't be more pissed off about this diffuser thing. Once again, as with KERS (for Ferrari and McLaren), the teams have put money into R&D to develop cars around this complex diffuser, which wont even be on the cars next year! It's a complete waste of time and money, and the most annoying things is, it's for something that's actually making the sport worse!

haha, yeah the front of the Merc nose has got some angle to it alright! I'm not sure about Williams, they didn't give a launch date for their car, then they had a shakedown at Silverstone and nothing since! Looking at the McLaren and Williams in those two side shots, other than the McLarens engine cover, the rest of the car actually looks reasonably similar to one another. Hopefully that will bode well for them!

New cars from today: Mercedes W01: Complete with Red Bull nose! Think the livery looks much better on this car, than when they previewed it on last years car, still not a massive fan of it though. Toro Rosso TR05: Which could very well be last years Red Bull?! And what I guess is the ACTUAL Renault R30: Crazy rear wing!! Morning pictures: McLaren looks ace!!

Well it seems you can't like the film without someone having to step in and offer an opinion on why it actually isn't all that great. Your expressing your opinion as if it's fact. You though it was no big deal... I loved it!

It's not pedantic at all... call it a rip-off if you like, but it's not a remake. Plenty of films out their are similar to others, share concepts, themes and ideas, I don't see what the big deal is...

Actually, the more I see it the more I like it! Looks like they've gone with an evolution of their 'ironing board' nose from last year. EDIT: Oooooh... Renault have a new colour scheme!

I haven't seen the film in 2D so I can't compare, but I thought the sheer clarity and the way they handled depth of field was spectacular... I assumed that was brought about by the 3D technology?

Definately, I tried looking for movie stills on the internet after getting back from seeing it. I'd love some artwork of the forest at night with all the luminescent planting, but couldn't find anything.

It wasn't about the importance of saving the environment/not destroying it, but about them not wanting their home to be destroyed, and with it all the 'lifeforce', knowledge, and memories of generations passed. The foundations of their civilisation. So more to do with humanities lack of understanding/appreciation.
