Human Revolution is a prequel to the original and is set way before it with different characters. There are probably a couple of nods to the original, but I've only played Human Revolution and it stands completely alone. It's incredible, you have to play it.
-
That one behind the box is though right. Possibly the last one. Not sure about the first one.

Amazing! Human Revolution is one of the only games I have ever given a second playthrough. It's one of my favourite ever games. I completed the standard edition and then bought the directors cut to play it again. Can't wait to see it at E3! But I'll probably keep away from a lot of info about this after the initial trailer etc.

Playing as a Splatoon Squid would be awesome. It's great that Nintendo finally have a new set of characters with such charm, and that instantly fit in with the rest. In future Mario Kart games it would be cool if one of the weapons if you're at the back was an ink splat, that you could fire at a certain wall on each track, and drive up it to access a short cut that would help you catch up some places.
-
Yep that's what I meant.

There are plenty of examples, Ronnie just chooses to ignore them. You only need to look at Mario Party 10, Wario Ware U, Sticker Star, for examples of where Nintendo also recently missed the boat. It happens. We just don't all get hung up on it.

Lol at that nothing Retro Studios story. Of course it's a new engine. The only HD engine they have is a DL one, and they weren't gonna be doing a straight sequel to that so soon.
-
@Wii you should be looking at the ML8 DLC as half of a sequel. It's fantastic value for money!! You know what DLC Smash Wii U needs? HD Melee :p
-
Are these gonna be coming out in June, or sooner? Look awesome.
-
Can they just sell the Yoshi without the amiibo functionality for half price please :p Either way, quite tempted to get it.
-
Gametrailers are going to live stream this game on their twitch this week. Will watch it back at some point. Interested in this, but need a PS4 first :p

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch
Retro_Link replied to darkjak's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I loved Skyward Sword! It's story, it's characters, the temples, the bosses, Skyloft and 'the land'. Flying around the Sky was boring, it was stupid you couldn't go out at night, the spirit realm wasn't that fun and by and large yeah the music was forgettable. However the main theme is one if my favs in the series. It's my second favourite Zelda behind OOT. -
They don't want you to turn it off basically.
-
Yeah IGN just reported today.
-
I'd have thought if they're going to bother with it, there will be reasons to use it/where you need to use it.
-
Need to pick up a PS4 first! Hopefully it won't be too log and this is definitely something I'll pick up! So many games I'm looking forward to. At least with Zelda not coming out for ages I think I've had the decision made for me as to which console to get next. Can't really justify a Wii I for MK8, Tropical Freeze and I'm not sure what else. If I had the money I'd have snapped up that PS4 Bloodborne bundle. Wasn't sure it was my sort of gem at all not really liking those sort if games outside of Resident Evil, but I've watched some playthroughs/duscussions on Gametrailers and actually I get a Resi vibe off it, and I know I'll like the skill based gameplay. So many great games to get!

Oh yeah I know, just allow me to dream

StarFox needs to be dragged kicking and screaming into being a relevant series again. It had SO much potential to fill a gap in Nintendo's library and appeal to a much wider audience. I don't feel that's under Miyamoto's control though. I still remember the video @Jamba posted, as to what a StarFox multiplayer could be As for the single player, I saw this trailer for Eve: Valkyrie the other day. Imagine blasting off in your Arwing like this! Oh if only you Nintendo would do a 4 player co-op squad based story mode.
-
Well it sounds to me like you want to play them. So go get another console and play them! GameStop currently have a PS4 + Bloodborne/GTAV for £288.97.
-
Genuinely don't know why you don't give a PS4 or One a go @Wii. There seem to be a lot of Third Party games you'd like to play, there's a whole host of incredible Indie Games, and the first party content. You seem to disenchanted by a lot if Nintendo's decisions atm, and yet you stand by them, criticising them, complaining about the lack of games to play for months. Passing on Captain Toad and Mario Party, your unsure about Splatoon, basically you're looking at X which is MONTHS away. Why not get another console and play some third party games in the meantime, even if for some reason you dislike Sony and Microsoft enough to play their first party content; even I that means missing out on some incredible games.

IGN reported a few days ago that that Nintendo had a big game reveal coming. I don't see this as being a big game announcement, but it's a game announcement, and that may have been exaggerated. We should be seeing Gamecube on Wii U!
-
I think the multiplayer is something that you must really have to go hands-on with to fully 'get'. I'm excited for the single player, but at the moment I'm struggling a bit to fully understand where the fun lies in floor painting, and your character seemingly dying in pretty much 1 hit when you do engage. No doubt it's a blast though.
-
Maybe retailers are a bit concerned about shifting stock, given it's a new IP, and given the Wii U's performance, so are dropping the price. Though how anyone's making any money I don't know.

@Ronnie @Serebii @Wii @Sheikah I think you guys need to take a good look at how your continual arguments across almost every thread on the board comes across. You're all as guilty as one another. On the other hand, your arguments are sustaining the forum, so good job guys
