Haha, I've only just seen this post. I've missed loads in here. Anyway, yes, I'm the one man promoter for Samba Di Amigo. Unfortunately, I've moved out of my student house, meaning I am no longer near my friend who owns the game. Going to have to buy it for meee. Aw well, it's a very worthy purchase. Also, Zack and Wikipedia is awesome. Can't wait to see Ine again...just to play that. And love, of course. Love.

Wii Vitality Sensor... Are you having a laugh!
Fierce_LiNk replied to Retro_Link's topic in Nintendo Gaming
You visited the ExciteBots thread recently? Anyway, it's a shame that an "announcement" which barely got a few mins stage time is being given more attention than Galaxy 2 and Golden Sun DS. Also, about the Miyamoto conference: Can we view it? Or is it secret? -
I wonder if the "great" Juande Ramos will be linked to the job. Who do you expect to take it? I'm still somewhat shocked over Barry's transfer to City. Honestly fail to see the logic there, unless it really is just the money he's after...which I didn't think he was. Also, why do the Chelsea fans (excluding maybe Ellmeister) only come into this thread when their team is winning?

We share the same name and the same views. *high five* Aww, man. Face-palm moment alert. -

What is this proper gaming that you speak of? -
No fucking way...I knew he was linked, but I never thought he'd go to City...hahahahah. What is the world coming to, eh? Also, Tony Adams to Celtic? We've had one shocking move, are we going to have two today?

But, then you're getting into the whole argument of what constitutes as a game, or a non-game, or un-game. Who says this can't be used for anything "game-y" or "non-game-y"? What's stopping somebody coming out and creating a game or piece of software which uses this effectively? It could be used in a Trauma Centre style game, for example. Besides that, it wasn't even being touted as "the next big thing." This wasn't even given the same amount of focus as the balance board or MotionPlus. -
I kinda miss FLUDD.
-
The only thing with the story is that I hope it just doesn't try to overdo it, or become too cheesy, or even "too gritty that it becomes laughable." Even then, it wouldn't be a game breaker for me, I think. Hmm.
-
I kinda thought the same when I saw it. We'll need to see more of it though before we understand how it is different to the first Galaxy game. Lookat the first five mins of Galaxy agaaaain.

I have to admit, seeing Yoshi made me chuckle. But, what exactly is he doing in space?
-
Haha, good post. I think it looks pretty fun. This co-op gameplay makes me wish I had tried four swords.
-
Looking forward to this. I'm glad they're not just doing another Prime-style game. If they had done, chances are I would've skipped it.

Legolas, what do your Elf Eyes See?
-
Yeeees, I loved the first, and this is looking quite lovely. I hope that it feels more fleshed out, as the first seemed a bit empty at times, particularly with the overworld. I have faith in The Suda, though.

Two many bluddy birthdays. I've just had to post in 3 that I missed, but I'm in time for this one. Happy Birthday suckers.
-
I'm so late to this, but I don't like someone celebrating their day of birth without a message of loveness being sent from me. Therefore, here it is: Happy Birthday for you, and I hope you had a good one. Keep driving those chairs, you driver.
-
I'm late for this, but I want to wish you a happy Birthday, dude. Hope you pulled a beautiful woman if you did go out, which I'm sure you did, as you are the forum pimp. Diemetrix, eat your heart out.
-
Happy Birthday, Mr Alan Shearer/Ant and Dec. Yes, everyone from Newcastle is based around one of these three people. "You Are A Racist, Madam!" [/south Park Movie]. Take care, hope you had a good one. Big Hug with a little grope.
-
Ant makes that clip. "Do you want to do it again? Go stand by the mic...sorry...there's no tiiiime!" Not word for word, but the same thing. I feel sorry for the girl, but I love Ant. Anyway, this has me in awe: I now have a new God. The "pow...pow" makes it. Skip forward to about 6:55 to see the whole thing in motion, this guy is great. But, the beauty is seeing it throughout...he clearly loves Thriller, as do I.

Guys, I'm packing my Wii away tomorrow... ...to move house, haha. I thought I'd scare you for a second. No? Ok, I'll get my coat and underwear. A few words: Samba Di Amigo Wii is fucking deluxe.
-
Wouldn't any racer use the Wii Wheel though? It doesn't do anything. I don't even use it when I play my housemates on Mario Kart. Anyway, Sega, it took you a long time to do this. I thought you were going to go down the Super Sonic Kart route a long time ago. You're a few years (or generations) too late.
-
I can confirm that I did find it less funny the second time around. I feel sorry for her, but that little segment with Ant did make me laugh (unintentionally) for a second. You can't script that stuff, it's gold. Daaammit! [/bauer]
-
I'm evil for laughing, but I had tears in my eyes (of laaaaaughter). I hate that bluddy song, too. I've nick-named it Anal-Vice. Dec: "I'm sure we have time for you to do it again." *hugs girl* Ant: "There Is No Time!" Girl cries more. It's so cruel, but so unintentionally funny at the same time.

The section where the helmet is put on, and you can see the reflection of the character's eyes. Reminds me of Metroid Prime. This is looking really sweet. It definitely looks like something that could scare you. For gamers, it will seem a bit of a shame that there is no control for the character, but I'm willing to let the developers show off some more first before I come to a full conclusion. They seem to be concentrating on the tension and build-up, so maybe part of their thinking is that this would be lost if the gamer had total reign? Who knows, but I want to see more of this.
