Haha, Metroid needs to remain puuure. Also, well done to ShineyLightWoman (DarkSnowMan) (also, DSM) for turning the corner. I hope this game keeps on drawing you into the bosom of Mother Brain.

Dean Kiely could be your hero tonight. Robinson and Cech are the unfamous kind, Don't look back as you leave Old Trafford, Anfield and the Emirates behind. Next season will bring lots of delights, Greening and Brunt won't shy away from the fights. You move forward, defeat all the teams in your way, DuD, there's nothing left to say but Happy Birthday Have a good day.

Ok, maybe there is a God out there, after all. Just checked the Newport Council website, and three Key Stage 2 jobs have all been added today! I know of two of these schools, and have a vague idea of the third. This could be my break. The closing date is a way off, around the 19th, so I've got time to fill these in whilst still looking around.

But you don't dictate what gets developed or released, Nintendo do. There's plenty of time for those games to come out. It's not like the Wii is going to end tomorrow. A great mistake with the Gamecube is that it just didn't have legs. The first few years were fantastic, but the new games just seemed a bit further apart in terms of each release. Nintendo could have done with release 1080 a bit further on down the line, worked on it a bit more, or something. It's an idea. ExciteBots looks fun, just as ExciteTruck looked fun before it's release. You're not going to like it, so why do you insist on coming in here and just saying how much you dislike this game, do not want it or how badly you want it to sell. There are more people in here who would like to see this released.

To be fair, Zech and Choze cancel each other out. I can't help but think that if this was football, it would be a drab 0-0 encounter were both teams show off a lot but ultimately fail to make that breakthrough. I don't know which is the greater of the two evils. Maybe some kind of poll to decide?

I think I've tried to be the same this season, a bit more gracious. Although, a few of my mates always get a bit frustrated when I pay a compliment to the other team if we have lost. For example, after the defeat against Fulham, I mentioned that they just passed and kept the ball better. They hung on for a period of 10-20 mins, but they probably deserved it on the whole. I love my team, but I'm not going to claim we were God-like if we clearly weren't that day, haha. I guess a lot of names are linked to Celtic. The thing is, it's a bit unfair to a manager like Tony Mowbray to say he wouldn't be right for the job if the team he currently manages are West Brom. He did well there, but it just wasn't enough to keep them in the Premier League. So, I guess Celtic just need to look past that, and look at the man. "Is this man right for the job?" kinda thing. I'd like to think that a new manager has a clean slate at a new club. Hehe, it's great to love your team, although it does bug me a little when fans just slate the shit out of their team all the time. Some people are just never happy I think. Championship talk for next season would be most welcome. I've got a feeling next season is going to be very special for both the Championship and Premiership.

Thank You, dude. But, to tell the truth, it's fucking hard. Job hunting has never been my friend. I remember the first proper job I ever had in a call centre was when I walked past it and saw an advert in the window. And, another time was in a post-office where my brother did a paper-round. Apart from that, when it's the whole "printing out/completing/filling applications, sending them off, waiting for a possible call back before you even get an interview"...it's very soul destroying. It doesn't really help that some of the schools here are asking for awkward things. One job I was looking at wanted me to play the piano, as it was an "essential skill" for that post. Another load want me to speak Welsh as a second language. I'm not sure if they realise, but Welsh was pretty much neglected in South Wales schools during the 90s. So, I don't have much luck there. Have a GCSE in it, but it's only at D grade. Although, that one which I was waiting to get here is now here, so gonna fill that out today. Then got the other two to fill out. So, at least 4/5 applications by the end of the week is...not bad. But, they all come with some sort of catch. I'm confident something will come, and I guess I've just gotta grit my teeth and keep applying.

Haha, there was something wrong with that post from Grunch. It's like seeing your Uncle doing stand-up or karaoke. Your Uncle who you talk to briefly at weddings and Christmas, making sure that they're not left out of this social occasion. And who wears knitted sleeve-less jumpers.

Wii Love Black: New Console Colour For Japan
Fierce_LiNk replied to david.dakota's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Obama doesn't come with a sexy blue light. Therefore, the Wii wiiiins. I wish I had his voice, mind. Probably up there in my top five sexy voices. -
I didn't think it were possible for anyone to not be happy or at least partly pleased with this game...but there's always one. Prime is over. It's done. It's a trilogy and forever will be remembered that way. There's not going to do a George Lucas and shit on what good there was in that trilogy and keep carrying it on until every ounce of good has gone. They couldn't have picked a better time to put it down, walk away and try something else. It's a brave decision, and I believe it will pay off in the end. I'm looking forward to this waaaay more than Galaxy 2.

Wii Love Black: New Console Colour For Japan

I agree. Jesus, Zech. Anyway, this is a very light black (haha) but it does look mighty sweet. Here is exactly what I thought: *comes on-to KNEE* "Ooo, black Wii. Hmm, but white is superb. Why would anyone want black? *clicks onto images* "Ok, now I waaaaaaaaant one." Just look at the light. Look at that light! I'm not usually one for different coloured consoles, but this is hot. -
Yeah, I see you and Dyson in here quite often. Although, sometimes it's mooonths before you see another Chelsea fan in here. To be fair, no matter the result, you can always bet that Ramar and DuD will come in here. I try to accept defeat graciously, even though it leaves me a moody bastard a lot of the time, haha. Also, Mowbray wouldn't be my first choice as boss for Celtic. I think he's in a good place and a good club right now. Celtic fans: Who would you want?

Yeeeees! The Archery is where it's at. I had a little toy bow and arrow set which I've had for years in my room. When I was moving out of my house a few days ago, I pretended I was Rambo and was picking off people from a distance. Distance:- From the stairs to the sofa in the living room.

Ooooooooooooooooooooh! I did not know that, or at least I forgot it. In that case: Best Trailer Ever, haha.

Wii Vitality Sensor... Are you having a laugh!

Did you...disconnect your E3 feed before Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid were revealed? -
I don't really understand the first part of your post. It's cel-shaded, so it's intended to be in a cartoon-y style. In that respect, I thought it's probably one of the best graphically looking games of last generation. Hell, it'd give a lot of games from this generation a run for their money, too. Also, you talk about the problem with it being Cel-Shaded, yet then talk about the difficulty of the game. You talk about it being more darker and involving, then talk about the cartoon-y style, and now the difficulty. To me, it...seems a bit like you can't get past the graphical style and enjoy the game for what it is. Personally, I've never had a problem with the difficulty factor with Zelda games after Ocarina of Time, but if you want a challenging one how about you try the 2D adventures? Link's Awakening and A Link To The Past were made of strong stuff.

It does look pretty fun. A 2D Mario on a home console (not yoooou Paper Mario) is just what I need, I think. I have fond memories of my brother playing it when I was younger. He wasn't really into games, but when it comes to two games, he was almost God-like. Goldeneye, and Super Mario Bros. He'll love this.

If anything, I thought the pacing was spot on. The action came at just the right time. There were nice little bits of exploration at the beginning, and the dialogue section with the cop was well timed. Only thing I'm a bit miffed at is the fact that you can't hear the voice of the other person on the other end of the phone.

I struggle to find time and money to dedicate to just one home console. I have the DS (phat is where it's at) as well, and it's pretty difficult raising funds for both of these. Saying that, I've got a healthy collection for both, so I'm pleased. Really can't comprehend how people have time or money to own all three plus both handhelds, and/or PC.

Just watched the three videos. One word: Bluddyfuckinghell! The build-up when walking around at the start was great. And then, the confrontations with the freaks was awesome. Seriously hectic. There was one segment where the character walks through a set of doors, then down a small corridor (empty) and through the next set of doors which had quite a long corridor. Seeing the two things from the other end of the corridor, emerging from the darkness, running at you...awesome. The lack of combat really does make thing more tense. You just run! Being able to move those objects to create obstacles...brilliant. I was already interested in this, but now I'm pumped.

Sucker train, I'm looking for jobs, too. I applied to one in Neath two days ago, and looking at one in the Rhondda! I've been home for 3 days. 2 Application forms sent out, one more on the way here tomorrow, and printing off two tomorrow. It's haaaaard work.

The third parties are providing software for it. Surprisingly (to me anyway), they're the ones pumping out the games which benefit from it hugely. Red Steel 2 is probably the biggest benefactor. EA's Tennis, as well. It would be nice to hear what they play to do with it, but I'm not particularly worried right now. The games will come. You can't fit eveeeerything that is being released for the system in a year or two in an hour long conference. Look at Red Steel 2, for example. It just randomly came out of nowhere, didn't it?
-
I was pretty iffy about this before today, but it looks very "complete" now. To be honest, I've got so much mileage out of WiiSports that this should be a no-brainer for me. I know I'll play this for some years to come, but today just kinda re-confirmed that for me. I love archery.

That's pretty much it, haha. I mean, we've got a 2D Mario aaaand a sequel to Galaxy. In the same hour. The same console. Life does not get sweeter. Pretty much looking forward to both equally. Also, I'm probably going against the general consensus, but I love this art style.
