  1. Might add this to the list. Cheers for the recommendation! One day I'll be able to do this. Soon.
  2. I adore Jet Set Radio. The controls are a bit of a pain, but it's such a fun game. Would love to see a new game as I love the style and look of it.
  3. I've decided to give Fear The Walking Dead another chance after hearing some good things about it recently. We watched season 1 and didn't make it onto season 2. S1 was ok but it didn't have/do enough to grip me. But, I enjoyed it much more the second time around and I also enjoyed what I saw of Season 2. We've since started Season 3 and I have to say that I'm enjoying this show currently a lot more than current season The Walking Dead. The characters just feel more real and the way that they talk and act towards each other just seems more like they're real people. Every character in the main series just seems to give some sort of cryptic "epic" monologue about how much they've lost or why "things are hard and intense maaaaaaan" and that sorta shit. Fear feels more like The Walking Dead used to be.
  4. What the fuuuuuuuuuck?! We just spent 10 days in Italy and @Eenuh booked this trip a while back. I basically let her book everything because she's better at that sort of organisation than I am and I didn't twig that we would be coming back on the same day as the Manchester Derby. I only found out about 2 weeks ago. We visited Milan, Florence and Rome and what's also crazy is that we could have gone to the Milan derby had we just rejiggled our schedule slightly. Plenty of tickets available! I did a tour of the San Siro a few days before and it was awesome, but we were in Florence on the day of the derby. We were flying at the EXACT time that the match was on. It was insane. Our plane took off before kick off and would land in stoppage time, so I could find out the final score but would have no way of checking up on the game. In all honesty, I was expecting us to get pumped about 4-0, especially when it became apparent that this would be the game that would win City the title mathematically. I was sat next to a Pompey fan of the plane and we were talking about football the entire time. It was bluddy agony not being able to check the game. As soon as our plane hit the tarmac, I switched off airplane mode and checked up. Couldn't believe my fucking eyes. Then, I was just constantly refreshing live text from about the 85th minute onwards. Just caught up with the De Gea save and the Sterling miss. Couldn't believe it. @Eenuh also likes to be careful with planning and so we had a five hour or so wait before our National Express coach! So, I missed Match of the Day, as well. We were on the coach at the time of the programme, so I couldn't even check the highlights on that! I figured that I could watch the whole match in its entirety online somewhere, so I waited until this afternoon to do so. I watched the entire 90 minutes, including the pre-match stuff. I tried to play some kind of Jedi mind trick to erase all knowledge of the game. The first 15 or so minutes were ok. We weren't spectacular, but I thought we looked tight and didn't really do an awful lot wrong. From about the 20th minute onwards, we were poor. Awful after the first goal for the rest of the half and should have conceded about 4 more. Young, Bailly and Smalling were awful and I had basically sold Smalling at half time. So much space left for City to run into and we didn't look like we had a hope in hell. It looked like a very typical away performance from us against a top 4 side, which we've performed badly in all season. Only player who I thought played well in that half was Herrera. He was the only one pressing and trying to do something, Matic occasionally helped but nothing else aside from that. Couldn't believe the second half. Right from the whistle, we were on it. Sanchez grew into the game and was one of the best players on the pitch in the second half. Pogba finally looked like the player we thought we had bought and was playing much higher up in the pitch. A Roy Keane type of performance from him and Herrera. Amazing play for the first goal and you could see the nerves starting to creep into the City side. We had them by the balls. I've been wanting to see United perform like this all season and it finally seemed like the bigger players (Pogba and Sanchez) were comfortable wearing the shirt. Delighted with that second half performance and just an incredible result. I loved it in the second half when the City players started to lose their cool and the handbags started coming out. It was a real and proper derby game. De Gea's save in the second half was class! Sterling had enough chances to score about 6 goals himself, but he fluffed all of them. It just didn't happen for him today. Luck was on our side, especially with those penalty decisions. Young had a poor game and was our worst player by quite some distance. But, it's the overall team result and performance that matters, so I'm delighted.
  5. Just looking at the goals again: was Liverpool's first goal off-side and City's disallowed goal actually on-side? 2-1 would be a completely different scoreline going into the second leg.
  6. I hope this will be to the Spider-man game series what the Arkham games were for Batman. It's all shaping up really nicely. Finger's crossed!
  7. Almost didn't watch the game as we're in Rome at the minute and Roma were playing Barcelona tonight. We were planning to stop off at a bar to watch the game, but I thought I'd rather watch this one in the end. Crazy, crazy result. City just didn't turn up. Sane had his worst game for City that I've seen so far and their English players in particular were awful tonight. Kyle Walker was horrendous and Sterling wasn't in the game at all when he came on. Just a poor all-round performance. I hear that there was trouble beforehand with City's bus getting vandalised, so I wonder just how much that unsettled them before the game. Hats off to Liverpool, great team performance. We'll see what happens in the second leg. City will score at the Etihad, but they'll have to come out and score at least 4 goals. If Liverpool score 1, City have to score 5. Can't see that happening at all, at least not with how they played tonight.
  8. Sega Rally always appealed to me and I've always wanted to give it a proper try. Daytona USA was the other one. Both seemed like pretty great games. We don't seem to have an awful lot of racers these days, or maybe they're just eluding me.
  9. Really looking forward to this. Didn't enjoy Homecoming at all, so hope that this will give me what I need.
  10. Pardiola has been sacked by West Brom after West Brom win only 1 in 18 Premier League games. (wtf?!) Taking only 8 points from a possible 54.
  11. I didn't play the Smackdown games when I was younger, so can't really compare. But, No Mercy is still the best wrestling game ever, at least in my opinion. The ladder matches were awesome.
  12. They're 8 points off 4th place now. Any of United, Liverpool and Spurs could finish 2nd, 3rd or 4th, but it looks likely (almost certain) that Chelsea and Arsenal are going to finish outside of the top 4. It's a competitive league and 6 into 4 just doesn't go. No Champions League money for Chelsea is a big deal...the bigger problem will be if they continue to struggle to get into the top four next season and the one after. It's a crucial few years for them.
  13. Crazy game. I followed the BBC Live Text and almost switched off when it went to 0-3. Zlatan's first was amazing. Crazy finish. It's conceivable that all of Conte, Courtois and Hazard leave Chelsea this season. Not sure if there is an obvious candidate to replace Conte, though.
  14. Those Saturn controllers just look so...uncomfortable now. God knows how I spent so many hours on the Mega Drive with that controller, or even the Master System. Controller ergonomics have come a long way since then.
  15. Holy sheeeet, Alexis did something. Should give him a boost for the rest of the season.
  16. I owned the Mega Drive 2 and the Master System 2 consoles. The first iterations of each just look all kinds of wrong to me! I also had the Mega CD 2 deck.
  17. My favourite Sega console was the Mega Drive, mostly because it was one of the consoles that made up a huge part of my childhood. I had split allegiances between Nintendo and Sega when growing up and loved the Mega Drive and SNES equally. The Dreamcast is an awesome console, but I didn't get into it until it had come and gone, whereas I was right there when the Mega Drive was at its peak. I still remember the first time I played Streets of Rage and being blown away by it. Never owned a Sega Saturn and missed the whole 32bit era completely. (never owned a Playstation until PS4) Have always been tempted to go back and check out some of the games from then.
  18. I totally didn't see that twist coming.
  19. I've accepted that it's virtually impossible to get WWF No Mercy without the save glitch. I borrowed a friend's copy and he had it. Then, I bought it for myself some time down the line and that copy had it, too. Gutted. Lost so much progress on that game. Such a widespread problem, too. Literally the only flaw of that game. Hearing all of this talk about Tony Hawk's 3 is bringing back memories. It was the first TH game that I played and I just played the absolute shit out of it. Suburbia, Airport, LA and Skater Island were my favourite levels in that game. Maybe Cruise Ship, too.
  20. Ahhh, you could have made it veeery awkward for both of them. I would have been so tempted just to fuck around and say that you wanted them. They can't really say no, can they?
  21. Anyone watching the England/Italy game? England have looked a bit unsure at the back in the first 20 minutes. Can definitely see Italy scoring.
  22. We can practise speaking Italian the next time we meet up!
  23. I'd love it if I bought a second hand PS4 to find a 2TB HDD in it. The right kind of surprise in life! I'm assuming that the PS4 just needs to be in its original state, so it has to have the original HDD. Sucks, but I can get why they wouldn't let you exchange it.
