  1. Man @Hero-of-Time, I've really enjoyed reading your posts on this game, from the initial feelings of "not really feeling it" to "wuuuutttttt why is this game so gooood?!" You're making it very difficult to not pick this up.
  2. Did my after-school football club for the first time in over 3 weeks today. My feet are aching, my throat is sore from bellowing instructions and I'm just tired, tired, tired. Did make two amazing saves in goal, one of which was a one-on-one where the other kid tried slotting the ball into the corner and I got down low and blocked it with my elbow as the ball was going behind me.
  3. Haha, it's an easy one to forget though as De Bruyne hardly got a kick in a Chelsea shirt. If they had kept De Bruyne, Salah and Lukaku in the same team, I just wonder how they'd be doing now. Did it actually benefit these players to play for lower profile clubs to help them improve? I don't think they'd have been the same players now had they stayed at Chelsea, so maybe it was good for their development.
  4. Yeah, that's the same for De Bruyne.
  5. Salah has earned that PFA award, although I don't think that there's anything more that Kevin De Bruyne could have done to win it. He's been City's star player and has enabled their attacking players to do their thing whilst also keeping them ticking over in all areas of the field. I feel a bit sorry for him, but what can you do when a player scores as many goals as Salah has? It would have been just as much of a crime had Salah not won it.
  6. Great goal by Herrera. Knew we'd have a chance when Sanchez won the ball in that position.
  7. Not sure what you're trying to say there. Are you saying that United have been in more finals than Spurs? Sure...but this has been Spurs' stadium for this season. It's a hugely unfair advantage for them. I don't even agree with any semi-finals being played at Wembley as I think it should only be used for the final.
  8. Hope we can get more control of the midfield in the second half. Spurs are having too much of the ball.
  9. YESSSS SANCHEZZZZ!
  10. It's an utter joke. Who makes these decisions? Rubbish team defending for the goal. Pogba walking back when he should have been tracking the run, Young completely out of position (hilariously so...don't think he was even in the shot when the ball was crossed!) and Smalling and Jones basically did nothing. Smalling and Jones must be awesome in training to continue starting under four different Man Utd managers (Fergie, Moyes, Van Gaal and Mourinho). It's bizarre.
  11. It's really, reeeeeally stupid that this match is being played at Wembley. I know that the FA Cup has been criticised for that feeling of being devalued in recent years, but playing the semi-final at Wembley is stupid. It's even more absurd considering that this is the same stadium that Spurs have been playing all of their home fixtures at! This should have been played at a neutral venue. Why couldn't this have been played in Cardiff, for example, or at the Emirates stadium?
  12. I think the album is most definitely a grower. I'm seeing a lot of comments that it's a softer album, which I'd agree with. Not necessarily a bad thing. It's just a different type of emotion. Quite a mature rock album, tbh... By And Down The River is fantastic. One of my favourite songs on the album. I get a "New Dawn Fades" (Joy Division) vibe from it. Really like it. I don't think the album has one distinctive sound. At least, from the first couple of listens, I'm not getting one sound or feeling. I was worried that it might feel a bit inconsistent throughout, so the jury is still out for me on that one.
  13. So...what do you think @drahkon?
  14. Found out the news in work and was shocked that today was finally the day it happened. It had to happen eventually, but it's still sad to see the end of an era. It's extremely rare to see a tenure of this length at a football club, especially with the way that football seems to work these days with managers losing their jobs after a series of losses, etc. Now is the time to celebrate the man and all of his achievements. I really miss the old Fergie/Wenger rivalries, but they are in the past now and are part of footballing history. It'll be exciting in a way to see who is now linked to the job, and there will of course be time to scrutinise Wenger's career at the club, especially the last decade. But, for now, it should be about honouring the man and the values that he has held and what he has done for the football club. He should have the opportunity to be celebrated, just as Sir Alex had his.
  15. I have to plug my PS4 directly into the internet. It's the only way I can get my megahertz to transfer fast enough. I've tried downloading more RAM and everything, but nothing seems to work.
  16. If one were to shower with three PS4s at the same time, would they still earn the trophy or does it definitely have to be 3 consecutive days. Asking...for a friend. Pls respond.
  17. Not bad, I may give the rest of the album a listen. Although, I'd rather he just gave us a new Raconteurs album, personally.
  18. I was just coming in here to ask what you thought of it! After the first few seconds, I thought to myself...what the fuck?! Is this still APC that I'm listening to?! My grin grew wider and wider by the end of the song and it suddenly dawned on me that they must be taking the piss. I didn't manage to catch all of the lyrics, but a few stood out and I thought that they were definitely taking the piss. So, I looked up the lyrics: So, yup, it's the most cheerful song that you'll ever hear about the extinction of the human race by blowing ourselves up. I love it. It's different, it's taking the piss, it's sarcastic, ironic, etc. Beautifully dark. Very different to their other stuff. But, different isn't bad. If we wanted the same, we'd just listen to their old stuff, right? I'm a little concerned about how the entire album is going to sound, because each song that they've released has an almost completely different sound. The Doomed sounds like the complete opposite to this...although, maybe the theme is actually the same, but the resulting sound is different.
  19. But that's 3 weeks longer than the last one! Could this be the one you keep?
  20. I look forward to seeing how you get on with it after you've finished playing your game. Yes, that was meant to be singular.
  21. It's hilarious and actually incredible fitting that, somehow, football is able to fuck up such a simple procedure. The technology is there, just fucking use it correctly! It's amazing how badly they've managed to implement such a system. There's clearly not been any foresight given into how the information is communicated to the fans either at the stadium or at home and they've obviously not seen how Rugby have successfully implemented this system. It IS the future because we can't have a reality where referees make mistakes on a daily/weekly/game-by-game basis, which is what they do. Through no real fault of their own. If they're seeing an incident from one angle, they do not have the benefit of the additional angles like we have, or the ability to slow down the footage. So, they should be given that ability. But man, come oooon, train them how to use it correctly. I'm willing to give it the benefit of the doubt and just say that this is the teething stage. But, they need to learn quickly. The World Cup is almost here. You can't be making high profile errors with this technology. Imagine if we had another "Mata squiggly line" incident again in the World Cup Final?!
  22. So you've sold the console three times? Gee, it's like you don't like it or something.
  23. My thoughts.
