  1. Total disgrace of a performance. Mourinho and the players should be absolutely ashamed of themselves to lose a game of this magnitude, against the bottom club and at home. He's lost a lot of support today from the fans and the reaction they all received at full-time was, in my opinion, softer than it could have been. I don't think some of the players even broke into a sweat today and it was probably one of our poorest performances in recent times. The players won't give a shit, as they'll no doubt just go home and count their money and I've lost a lot of respect for them after today. Mourinho is far softer than I expected. I expected him to run a tougher regime and to absolutely lay down the law that performances like today's would be unacceptable. Today's performance is similar to some of the ones under Van Gaal. There is absolutely no spine or any guts to this team. Nobody there grabbing the players and forcing them to perform. Abysmal.
  2. Can't believe he was pissing about with the chance beforehand. Just whack it in the net! I'm hoping for a good United victory tomorrow, which should hopefully take us 4 points clear of Liverpool (with us having a game in hand) and 7 ahead of Spurs. Can't have any pissing about tomorrow, it needs to be a big performance and we need to win well.
  3. I was very tempted to say something, but I thought I'd go easy on Kane tonight. Hmm, so that's the third Spurs player this season who should have been sent off against City, but hasn't been. Hmmmmm.
  4. Anyone watching the Spurs/City game? City's penalty was given for a challenge definitely outside of the box. Think there was a potential red card tackle from Spurs though, but I missed it because I was playing with the cats.
  5. I've never particularly enjoyed handheld consoles. I get headaches after a while and my hands eventually cramp up. No problems with the Dreamcast controller. Didn't find the SNES controller too comfortable, tbh.
  6. Maybe Eriksen isn't publicly saying anything because he's a team player and doesn't want to cause internal friction at the club. It's what I would have expected Kane to do. Every video and camera angle has shown that the path and trajectory of the ball doesn't change. There's not one that I've seen that has shown that Kane had any contact on the ball, especially not enough to divert it towards goal. The fact that he's been given it is an absolute shambles as there is no proof whatsoever, other than his word. Ronaldo would get hung out to dry for this, for sure. He would get labelled greedy, or "not a team player" or selfish or something along those lines. When he was at United, the press would come out with something every week to fling at him. For sure he'd get loads of shit over something like this. Time will tell with Kane. But, as far as I know, the offers haven't been coming in yet. What happens if a club like Real bid something ridiculous as £150million for him, with the promise of paying him £500,000 a week? I think we over-estimate players' loyalty to their clubs. The shelf-life of a footballer is finite. Gareth Bale was around about this age when he left for Real Madrid and he's won the Champions League multiple times with that club. Why wouldn't Kane want that? As for Spurs winning the league, I think their time was when Leicester did it. City are now stronger, United are a better team since then and Liverpool have also improved. I can see him overtaking Shearer, if he stays long enough to do it.
  7. Never had a real problem with it. Definitely not back in the day and not when I dug mine out about a year or so ago. Seemed fine to me. The controller isn't especially ergonomic, but it's not a bad controller.
  8. Woooooooo! I'm still tempted to play it on the original hardware in the future (but honestly, I probably won't now as this will do now), but I'm delighted with this.
  9. Are you using an app to track your lifts? If not, I'm using FitNotes and it's pretty good and simple. I wish I had tracked properly at the start, because I could have made tons of noob gains if I had done it a bit more sensibly at the beginning. Quite exciting for you really, you'll see an obvious change in your numbers and fitness/physique within a few moments.
  10. Well, you're going to have to get down there and sort them out...because it'll be absolute fucking hell for me if Liverpool go on to win this thing now. All the gloating about Istanbul 2005...it was unbearable.
  11. I've mainly been on dat cardio time this week and it's a nice change of pace from lifting weights. Might stick with it for another week before going back onto the weights. Have to still work off all of those food gains from Italy.
  12. Should be a good tie and a hard one to predict. Bayern seem to be flying under the radar a little in this competition. You don't need to host sensational comebacks to win this competition and they've got the players who could do some damage to Real. Of the four teams left, I'd like Roma to win it.
  13. He's getting an easy ride because (like I mentioned before) he's England's golden boy. If Ronaldo or any other foreign player were doing this, the media and fans would hang them out to dry. Can't believe he used the school yard "I swear on me family's life braaah, it came off me fam" line. Is he 8 or something? He'll eventually leave Spurs for a big money move elsewhere. If he's being this petty about being top scorer and claiming every goal, what's he seriously going to do when the likes of Real Madrid come calling and offer him a serious chance to win the Champions League or La Liga?
  14. Two months to go!
  15. That goal has been credited to Harry Kane.
  16. Buuuuh, 30-40 hours?! Wasn't expecting that. Pleasantly surprised. I think the God of War games are on PS Now, so maybe I'll sign back up to that in the summer and play through them on there. I was planning to re-sign back up to that at some point anyway.
  17. If @Hero-of-Time does buy an Xbox One...does that mean that the Xbox userbase in this forum will have doubled?
  18. This will be my first God of War game as this is my first Playstation. Really looking forward to it, especially with these crazy scores coming out! Will probably be played during the May half term, I think. Any news of how long the game is? I've been tempted to pick up God of War 3. What's the general consensus on that?
  19. I really wanted Juve to do it...but I guess Roma will just have to do. Would be amazing if they did it.
  20. What happened?! I'm not watching the game live. Why was Buffon sent off?! Fucks sake.
  21. I would be pissed if I was Eriksen. The ball clearly didn't touch Kane and if it did it was the smallest of touches that didn't alter the trajectory of the ball and didn't really affect anything whatsoever. I don't like that kind of behaviour and would be furious if one of my team-mates had done that to me! Also...Juve...fucking hell! Come on! I really want them to win it. I want Juve to win the whole thing now.
  22. Come onnn, Juve. I don't think they'll do it. Real will come out in the second half and score 2. 2-2 overall on the night.
  23. You only need to play one.
  24. That's not how you spell CD Projekt Red!
  25. On a side note, I do feel a bit sorry for Pep (not too much, he is City's manager after all). But, clearly there were numerous decisions in both legs that went against his side. One of Liverpool's goals in the first leg was offside, one of City's goals in the first leg was ruled out (which would have been a crucial away goal...we saw how important away goals are in the Roma-Barcelona tie) and one of City's goals was incorrectly ruled out for offside last night. There has to be some responsibility taken by the officials after these decisions have been made. Do they review them after the game? How come managers and players have to come out after the game and justify their reasoning and decision making, but referees and assistant refs don't? Why do we never have representatives coming out afterwards and saying "oh yeah, that penalty decision was wrong" or "yeah, that goal should have stood". There's absolutely zero accountability. These weren't just small mistakes, but big ones with ripple effects. If Liverpool's goal is disallowed in the first leg and City's goal is given...that's 2-1 on aggregate. 2-1 going back to the Etihad is a vastly different proposition than 3-0 down. Maybe Pep's tactics wouldn't have been quite so insane last night. Decisions change games and I'm all for football being exciting. But, football should be exciting because the football is exciting. It should be exciting because the attacking play is good, or the defending is excellent, or the keeper makes extraordinary games. Football shouldn't be exciting because the referees fuck up and get things wrong. It's sorta like going to the theatre and hoping that one of the actors forgets his lines or somebody trips up on stage. You don't really go to the theatre expecting cock-ups, so why is it ok or acceptable in football? I have a big problem with how the sport is officiated. I'd say VAR is the answer, but the people in charge can't even get that right!
