  1. If you were Roy, who would you sign for Pool? I reckon he'll go for a defender of some sort, and a wide player. I think the days of playing Kuyt out wide may be coming to an end soon.
  2. I looked at the name and thought it was pronounced Ko-sheel-knee. Or maybe Ko-seal-knee. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOh, Baby I compare you to a KISS FROM a ROSE on the graaaaay. Apparantly United are now making some moves towards Sneijder. We should've gone for him last year. His value will have doubled by now. And Robben's as well. He was available last year. Hmm.
  3. I enjoyed Dwarf's post. Reminded me of Fonejacker, where certain words are accompanied by pictures. I've just remembered that I left out Command and Conquer: Tiberian Sun out of my post! Do not know how I managed to do that. It's one of my favourite games. Every single aspect of that game is perfect to me. The singleplayer was fun, the cutscenes were great, the missions were challenging. But, where the game came alive was in the skirmish mode/multiplayer. I have a great memory of once creating about 30 or so harvesters and just cracked up laughing at my stupidly high funds counter. An obscene amount of money, but then I had to build a stupid amount of silos as well to hold the stuff. I once also had a game against ViPeR/Joe which resulted in a lot of internet-trashtalking. We didn't finish the game, but it was pretty even throughout. The highlight was when my army of disruptors were crossing a bridge and he proceeded to then bomb said bridge. Basically, land battles were ruled out after that point, and most of the battle took place in the air. Its one of those games where you just keep countering what the other person does, so nobody ended up gaining any kind of advantage. He obliterated me at Red Alert 2, though. Fucking Navy.
  4. Actually, that's not a bad idea. New Angle, Guys! What about if you reviewed films as if they were being reviewed by 6 year olds. Think of it as "Axe Cop Meets Empire." It would be brilliant. I second Jay's idea. Deesquared sounds nice.
  5. Happy Late Birthdays, NolaGoaf. Congratulations at being older.
  6. I have so many favourite moments, but I'm going to try and select a few from different eras. Cyberdyne Warrior - Commodore64 One of the first games I played (although I'm sure it was called Commando, rather than Warrior, but google seems to disagree). It was quite simple, but the soundtrack seemed ace at the time. Including the booming intro music. Woo. Super Mario Bros 3 To date, my favourite ever Mario. 2D Mario is still where its at for me. Excellent music, lovely map and level design...awesome powerups. Raccooooon Mario! I have memories of playing this with my brothers, seeing who could get the higher scores and stuff. My youngest was a pro at this. When he was younger, he used to get all these stupidly high scores with all these games...dunno why he stopped gaming. He was so good at platformers. Streets of Rage Fuck Yeah! one of my favourite games. I remember being in awe of the soundtrack and the fact that you were working your way through the streets into different regions of the city. The game looked beautiful and it played like a dream. The first time that my Uncle brought this game around to my house to show me, I knew it was going to be something special around 10 seconds in. Superb fun. Ocarina of Time I actually thought I had reached the end of the game once I had collected the three stones. I was barely even halfway through! I seemed to play this game at just the right time. Any younger, I would probably not be mature enough to appreciate it. Any older, I'd probably not appreciate just how emotional it could be, or how impressive the world looked or how things just seemed to work. My favourite moment has to be seeing Adult Link for the first time and seeing Hyrule covered in darkness. Seeing it go from such a vibrant place to that, it was shocking. Such a brilliant game. Eternal Darkness My favourite Gamecube game by a country mile. Played this, and then repeated it on different alignments just to get the extra ending. Loved it. My favourite moment was probably when you played as Alex's grandfather and you see "The City" for the first time, and you get to destroy it. Such a beautiful moment. Plus, the ending felt really satisfying. The cutscenes before, during and after were breathtaking. You knew it was going to be such a defining moment and it truely was. This is probably the best game of last generation that nobody played. In my top 3 of all time. Soul Caliber Hahaha, such a fun game. I have great memories of my best mate coming over to my place and we played a best out of 100 match, and the game finished on 51-49. It was actually locked at 49 a piece until the last two games, which he took. Absolutely fantastic memory, and what a beautiful game. It played like an absolute babe. If this game were a woman, it would Scarlett Johansson. Shapely but in all the right places. Dead Space Extraction Ine got me this for Christmas, and I actually loved it a whole lot more than I thought I would. I loved the look of the game, the atmosphere and the "feel" of it. It seemed like a cross between Eternal Darkness, Ghosts of Mars (which is a guilty pleasure of mine) and something like Event Horizon. The on-railness seemed to add to it. There's no aimless walking about, you're moving through the game and you know that danger can hit at any time. It keeps you on your toes. Its great for tension. I wouldn't play this game until it was around 1 or 2 oclock in the morning, then I'd play for hours. All the lights off. I played it with this cheapy Wii zapper that my Mum bought as she saw it in town. Something like this: Which actually works a treat for the game. For some reason, haha. I love it about a billion times more than I expected. Great game. Again, one that nobody really played either.
  7. I wouldn't destroy eveeeeeryone or everything. Rather, I think we should just put things into two piles. The pile that we "keep" and the pile that we do not want. If we feel that morally we can't kill these people no matter how hard they suck, we can just ship them off to a different planet which nobody cares about. Like Uzbekistan.
  8. These days my taste seems to be changing every so slightly. I used to be an avid tea drinker with milk and about three sugars. Mmmm. The sweeter the better. I drank so much tea a day. Too much probably. But my friends who I used to live with were on the same level, so I didn't feel too bad drinking so much. Since I've been living back at home, I've become more health conscience. I've started drinking chamomile tea without milk or sugar. I had a proper cuppa today for the first time in weeks. It's still my drink of choice, but at the moment I'm drinking more chamomile than anything. Coffee is something that I like, but am not a huge fan of. A few years back, me and a good friend were getting the bus to work, and we had a bit of time so we thought we'd grab a coffee from a nearby shop to take to our desk. Being skint at the time and being a bit of a coffee n00b, I just opted for the cheapest thing they had, which was an espresso, and paid around a quid for it. My friend went for a mocha I think, which was a bit more fancier, and I was secretly jealous because...it sounded better. So, the lady takes our money and about thirty seconds later comes back with a little shot-cup. I was excited, and waited patiently for the rest of my stuff. The lady came back with my friend's mocha, and said "have a nice day" and calmly walked off. I stood there, expecting her to come back, but she never did. "Where's the rest of it?" I asked. "Rest of what?" "My drink..." "Jim, it comes in shots...didn't you know that?" "Uhh..." Heavy laughing, at my expense. She laughed all the way to work, then laughed at her desk, and then laughed during break. You know what? The espresso tasted like aids as well. Never again.
  9. I used to love that song, and I still do. Damn you, Internet. You have found my weakness. The All Saints.
  10. Haha, dude, we've been together for almost two years. I think it's a given we're going to be having sex by now. Heh, I still don't get the tension bit you mean. Maybe like a post here or there, but I don't think there's any obvious tension as such. Yes, you need sweaty sex. Hard. Up the arse. I don't think we're people to be jealous of. She lives in Belgium and I currently live in Wales. Wales! Nothing to be jealous of, neither is the long distance nature of our relationship. Also, it's not really a fetish. Its pretty much like OxyWaste described. Intimate sweat is different to say, been going for a jog and now your feet smell of wotsits sweat. Its the intimate sweat that I like, but then deep down I think everyone likes that? Its the satisfying kind. I made you sweat, this rocks, kinda thing. I think you are overthinking it a bit, Seven. Relax! It's not like we've posted Forum Erotica complete with pictures of each other dressed in clothes normally associated with the opposite sex and with all of our available holes covered in smooth Peanut Butter (sunpat, mmm). Haha, I knew you were. I laughed when you said legpit.
  11. Cman, Dan. Too easy. Its a Neil Young classic.
  12. Hahaha, I know what you mean about the restored footage and watching it from the menu. I remember yeeeears ago I bought Star Wars Episode 2, and you could watch some deleted/extra scenes that way. I'd much rather watch the scene in the actual film, rather than just by itself. Seems pointless. "Here are scenes we didn't want, but you might do....enjoy!"
  13. I would die for both Predator films. The second one is very different to the first. Different setting, different characters. Less "macho" than the first. Its a perfect sequel in a way, in that its different to the first, so that you don't feel like you've watched the same thing twice.
  14. The Alien Quadrilogy is sweet, though. You get the theatrical and director's cut versions for all four films, plus a special features disc for each film (with storyboards, interviews and draft script-work) and an additional disc with extras for the series as a whole (not specific to any of the films, just a series disc). 9 discs of heaven. I was given it many years ago as a birthday present. One of the best days of my life. I almost cried. Saying that, if you just want the actual movies without the collectors stuff (not sure what you get with the Total Destruction boxset) then 12 quid for all the Alien/Predator/AvP films is a great deal. Its just over a quid for each film, haha.
  15. She sounds like a complete waste of time. Are you hoping to get into a relationship with her, or is it just a quick fiddle and a fumble? I never understand why women or men feel the need to play "games." Stop fucking about and just keep it simple. I remember a few years back a friend of mine said that she would "test" her partner by flirting with other men, to see if he reacted or not. Ask her if she has a boyfriend, first of all. If she says no, then...well...you're halfway to bagging a young ladyfriend. 18 is a hot age. But then, any age caaaaan be a hot age, depending on how hot the person is whose age we're talking about.
  16. Well, how can I put this? Ok, you know when you get sweaty during sex? I like that. Its hot.
  17. No McWin, no McPhee! Happy Birthday, FEE.
  18. Happy Birthday, Raineeng. Well done for...being born! Yaaay.
  19. Today is a special day. After what probably seems like forever to her, Ine is graduating with her Masters Degree! She's worked very hard along the way. The Master Project she had to do this year turned into a fantastic little book which I can't wait to take a look at for myself. Throughout the year, she's been working tirelessly to get this stuff done. She doubted herself a little along the way, but in true Ine style, her awesomeness shined through. Well done, darlingk. You've earned eet. Now, bask.
  20. Yossi worked for Liverpool, but not sure if he'll work for Chelsea. Actually, not even sure he'll get a game. Could be another Scott Parker type of signing. Don't entirely see the sense of Liverpool selling him, as he was actually one of the players who seemed to perform well consistently there. Letting him go for 5 million seems a bit weak. What about the signing of Yaya Toure for City? If I was a City midfielder, I'd be shitting it right about now. Could be the end for Ireland or Wright-Phillips?
  21. I'm almost recovered from my sickness, but still not there yet. My nose is so blocked, and it's pissing me offfff. I've been to the gym about twice in two or so weeks. On the upside, I think I've found a nice place to live for next year, which is also close to the town centre and the beach. Hurray! I'm also looking for a cheap car with cheap insurance. Something that moves, is reliable and won't kill me financially. I also managed to meet my class for the first time on Monday. They were nice, although some of the kids seem a bit lively. Plus I still didn't feel amazing, so wasn't in the right mood to meet them. Yesterday, went out with mates to the pub and played a giant version of Connect Four. Fuck yeeeeeeah. I have sniffed and sneezed about 6 times throughout writing this post.
  22. Don't be bitter. You just wish that you were that girl. Well, you're not. ARRRRIGHT! There's something nice about it, though. Not the sweat of eeeeeeeeveryone. But, the sweat of someone you're attracted to/with. Maybe its to do with pheromones. I don't think the same can be said for me. When I went to play squash with Ine a while back, my clothes smelled of Jim-sex afterwards.
  23. I really agree with this. I'm so glad you exist. I thought I was the only one who liked this!
  24. Fuck yeah, you know me well. The Bends is my favourite Radiohead album. One of my favourite tracks off the album, too. This weak, I've been listening to: aaand
