  1. Microsoft's show was fantastic. I spent most of it going "can't wait to play that...looking forward to that...that looks great...also can't wait to play that on PS4". It's probably made me even more unlikely to get an Xbox. Of the three console companies, I disliked Nintendo's show the most, purely for the overlong, overdetailed analysis of every seemingly little detail they've added into Smash Bros. How long did that seriously last for, because it felt close to half an hour. The Last of Us Part II was my game of the show. But yeah, Ghost looked awesome. Thought it was interesting was Sony tried to do, but the intermission bit was a clear misfire. Rest of the show was fine and I think the quality of the games will speak for themselves. Nioh 2 is a very nice surprise.
  2. This is going to be fantastic, obviously.
  3. Why?
  4. That's just strange. Very messily handled. Really surprised if they've not even attempted to go for Pochettino.
  5. Hnnnnnnnnngggg. Can't wait for this. Seriously looks so bluddy sweet. Gorgeous, too.
  6. There's something quite satisfying in just knowing that The Last of Us Part II is going to be awesome. Uncharted 4 was awesome, and this will be amazing. Loved the trailer, plus having Gustavo Santaolalla there was fantastic. The music in the first game is beautiful and is one of my favourite gaming soundtracks. Ghost of Tsushima looks brilliant, too. All in all, for a quiet E3, there's quite a lot of games that I'll be getting in the future. Nioh 2, too. Where did that come from?!
  7. I take it that I didn't miss much by skipping Star Fox Zero then? It looked pretty shit.
  8. Does Miyamoto actually age? What are they feeding him?
  9. Wat.
  10. This movie-gaming crossover event is crazy.
  11. This might be @Eenuh's sort of thing. She loves pirates. Tempted to rename her to Eenaaaaaaaarrrrr.
  12. Words can't describe how much I fucking hate these fucking rabbids.
  13. Is this the third trailer for The Division 2? I get that it's a big deal but... there's a looooot of emphasis on it.
  14. Sorry, I thought I was in the E3 thread and thought you had posted it in there. My mistake! It's the Nintendo Direct thread so it's obviously a Nintendo direct, ahaa.
  15. I think everybody should have their own entrance music for whenever they enter a room. Just imagine getting out of a lift and then BAM! Stone Cold Steve Austin's music kicks in.
  16. I don't know what I'm watching, but I think I like it. I think. I don't actually know.
  17. Siege always looked like an awesome concept to me and I really want to give it a try. Loved it ever since the initial reveal.
  18. Looper! What a film! Hahahahah, was their microphone on at the end when they walked off? Sounds like they said "you nailed it! you nailed it!" hahaha
  19. Joseph Gordan-Levitt. I love the guy.
  20. I'm still waiting for everything that Back to the Future Part II promised me.
  21. Loved the look of this. Can't wait for this or Life is Strange 2. I still need to play Before the storm, so will have to get around to that this summer!
  22. There will always be games coming out for the PS4, so nothing will actually happen if not much gets shown later. It'll just mean that those games get shown another time, or the third parties will fill in the gap. I'm just watching (tomorrow, not live) because it's E3 and it's the thing to do, I suppose. There's not much riding on this conference, imo.
  23. Ah, if they're talking about the source material then I'm at a loss as I don't really know of it. Saying that, apparently it's called "Night City" due to the person who founded the city, Richard Night. So, Night City isn't named it because it's always dark. But rather, I guess the name works on multiple levels.
  24. I can understand what they're trying to say, but I don't consider it to be true. Yes, typical cyberpunk would give off images such as many of the scenes that you would find in Blade Runner. High-tech futuristic societies that also combine with the breakdown of society, leading to those feelings of isolation or loneliness. I'd picture crime-ridden streets, lowlifes, all amongst a backdrop of bright neon street signs and tall buildings, with the dark sky helping to make those flashes of colour stand out. Society should be a utopia, but is much closer to a dystopia. But, that is a stereotypical view of what cyberpunk is. It's a bit like saying that all rock should sound like AC/DC or Aerosmith. That's not really telling the whole story. To me, I instantly thought of the game as Cyberpunk much as in the same way that Blade Runner 2049 was Cyberpunk, despite much of it being set in the daytime. Those feelings of the breakdown of society or where people live in slums and poverty amidst the backdrop of all of this technology around them were present in both Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049. To say that all Cyberpunk should be set in the night time is silly or that a game that features daytime isn't Cyberpunk is just daft, tbh. Yes, the stereotypical images will always be set at night, as it makes those neon colours and bright lights stand out. But, the darkness is but just one feature. It doesn't encompass all of what Cyberpunk is.
  25. How many of those games will appear on Switch?
