Yeah, it seems like you'd have to really put up a fight to get something out of them if a problem did occur. But even then, how exactly do you go about proving that a mistake was part of the manufacturing process and not one of your own? Especially if almost 2 years have passed since you received the machine. It's taking advantage out of consumers who don't really know a great deal about these sorts of things, forcing them to pay even more.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Arsepool game finishes goal-less. Could also finish 5-5 or something ridiculous. I'm not sure either side really has a good enough bench to change things up if things are looking goal-less, Liverpool in particular. No competition for Suarez whatsoever. He could coast it if he wanted to - who would replace him? I'm hoping we batter Southampton today, but I don't think we will. They will have their chances and I can see them scoring. I reckon it'll finish 3-1 to United, but it'll be a close first half. Van Persie to get a brace and maybe a goal from the wings. Young, if he starts. Edit: Liverpool: Reina, Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Jose Enrique, Gerrard, Allen, Sahin, Borini, Suarez, Sterling. Subs: Jones, Henderson, Coates, Downing, Carragher, Shelvey, Kelly. Arsenal: Mannone, Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Diaby, Arteta, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Cazorla, Podolski, Giroud. Subs: Martinez, Koscielny, Andre Santos, Walcott, Ramsey, Coquelin, Gervinho. Only person I can see coming off the bench and scoring is Walcott.

Yeah, it's this part in particular which seems to be causing confusion: So, from what I gather, if you can prove that the fault is there from the start, then you should be ok for up to 2 years. How you can do that, I do not know. Seems pretty shitty to me. It's a lot of money, but then it's there to help you if things do go wrong (the AppleCare). Still, can't help but think this is extortion and quite dodgy in terms of business practice.

I don't think we were ever in for M'Villa and I'm not sure he would be a good fit. Fergie seems to be holding out for a specific player, or even thinks Carrick can occupy that role, as he's been raving about him in midseason. Basically, we need a time machine to go back and sign either De Rossi or Yaya Toure.

Needs a Clutch Kit, I was told. (clutch plate, cover, concentric slave cylinder). Car starts, accelerator can be pushed/pressed (engine revs) but car doesn't move anywhere.

If it's on personal terms, then the likelihood is that the wages were not high enough, which again just boils down to money. Spurs haven't really got it and it'll put off big names. Also, it'll stop them from putting together a squad that can go for the title. I think I also read that there's a 25% fee that would need to be paid to Sporting Lisbon, who agreed for that stipulation to be put into the contract when he moved to Porto. In which case, Spurs would probably have needed to pay more? Anyway, I'm pretty happy with United's business. It was done nice and early, and the balance of the squad is good. One defensive minded midfielder would have been amazing, but that's something to work on.

I thought you were a Geordie? Anyway, am crai. I still mean it. The majority of you are wimps. Ohhhhh! In fairness, this cost around a grand and has been pretty great for me so far. This came out of nowhere. So gutted. Can't really afford anything else. Car has been collected and will be returned on Tuesday. So tired of this car bullshit. I don't understand how people can dedicate their whole life or base their whole personality on cars. They are fucking annoying. They are expensive. They can cause a lot of problems. Meh. Never seen the appeal and this furthers my hatred for them.

Surprised by some of the transfers that went through. I was unsure if the Lloris deal would happen, but that's a good deal. Dempsey is a steal at that price and Liverpool should be ashamed for offering so little for him. But, at the same time, I don't know what to make of Van Der Vaart leaving. Buying Dempsey seems like a sidestep or even a backstep when you factor in VDV leaving. So surprised at Liverpool. Letting Carroll go on loan is understandable, but no viable replacement? Pretty poor, in my opinion. Slightly regretting putting them above Arsenal in my prediction for the end of season table. I feel that United and Chelsea have done well in the window. We still should have brought in a defensive midfielder, which is the one thing we need. We still haven't really replaced Roy Keane. City have also brought in some good players. Not really sure if they needed Maicon...but it'll add competition for places. That's how you win titles. Top 3 at the end of the season should be Man United, Man City, Chelsea. Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs, possibly Newcastle, possibly Everton will all be interchangeable. Also, the Moutinho bid was never going to happen. Neither were deals for some of those other pricey names. Like I said, I don't think they've ever spent above 17/18 million before, so it was almost a given that they didn't sign some of these players. If it did happen, then I think it would have given Spurs an edge over Arsenal and Liverpool. As a result, I don't really know where they'll end up. Injury free season and playing out of their skin, maybe 4th. Otherwise, 5th or 6th seems realistic.

Good game, dude. Thanks for the praise. Those possession stats were unreal. We only created four chances, though. Disappointed by that. Also, I fucked up and played the wrong goalkeeper. This one only had a form of 3 or something stupid like that. Pleased with my forward line. My new striker got two assists, experienced striker scored and the other also got an assist.

What a shit night! Driving in my car along the A338 and find that suddenly the engine is making a huge noise, like I'm over-revving it. I'm puzzled, and I realise that no matter what I'm doing, the car doesn't seem to be gaining speed. Even when slowing down, shifting down gear and trying to increase the speed from there, nothing is happening. I barely make it onto the hard shoulder. Car won't move forward at all now. I rang the AA, get told that there will be somebody there within 40 mins. 40 or so mins pass, then I receive another phone-call telling me that somebody accredited with the AA will be coming to get us at 11:25 at the last...this current phone-call was taking place at about 10:05. Just...urgh. When the guy eventually gets here at 11:15, we get told that it can't be fixed on the side of the road. So, the car has been towed home, along with us and now I have a useless car parked outside with me being unable to drive it to the garage. I start school Monday, Ine has work, both of us will be out of the house by 7:30...WHYYYYY?! I have had all this time off for summer, why does something have to fuck up NOW? I have had this car for a month (second hand, but still, it's new to me). It's decent, too. Just a complete fuck of a situation.

I LOVE SPORT I love sport.

What is the name of that song in the video? I got goosebumps watching it. I love sport.

Cheers for that, guyyys. I'm happy with the team. I do worry that I may have one too many midfielders and that may affect some of the DVs for the younger players. But, that's where I'll need to rotate the squad properly. Challenge accepted!

On the one hand, their business practice has to be admired. They're the least likely out of the top 6 clubs I would say to do a Leeds or Portsmouth. On the other hand, you also have to win games to win trophies, which brings in revenue from television and so on. I think they're very lucky so far that they've managed to stay within the Champions League spots. Saying that, why pay stupid money for players that aren't worth it? No way is Walcott worth that much. It should be an honour to play for Arsenal and that alone should top money. All of these players leaving for other clubs wanting to win trophies...why don't they combine their efforts and win trophies for Arsenal?
-
I'd love it if United hijacked the Dembele deal. I can dream, eh? I find Julio Cesar going to QPR very, very surprising. Only 32. Far too good to be playing for them. Should at least be playing Champions League football. As for Walcott, I dislike the man. If he's messing about over contracts, I expect him to leave. Arsenal have sold far better players before.

Would 20 pretty much guarantee a visible change in the change report later this season? He already went up from a 21 6 to a 22 7 in the previous report. If he double jumped, a 23 9 would be godly...(very, very unlikely, I know)

Midfielder scores a hat-trick away from home. Doesn't get into the Xpert team. 3 others from the same midfield do. Very happy with my midfield. 4-1 away from home is a good result. Out of curiosity, what is the maximum amount of DV a player can receive? My goalie is already on 12.

I loooooove this show. It's got a lot of "awkward" humour to it, but it works. I love it. I saw this scene yesterday and cried. Genuine tears of laughter. Just the line at 0:49. It's gold. This is my favourite song. Pure brilliance. You can tell that they were killing themselves laughing when they wrote it.

That probably is the case, and it's a shame. It's very short-sighted because you can't sell players of the likes of Modric and expect to walk into the top four again. It's just not going to happen unless you sign suitable replacements or have players that will step up to that role. Players can get injured at any time, yes. But, I mentioned Lucas because it is a very interesting case, as he has just returned from a long-term injury and is injured within the window. Also, Joe Cole. Players can be injured anytime, of course. But, because the window is still open right now, there's a chance for them to buy replacements. They can't do that if it closes earlier. They'd have to wait until January. If a player does get injured the day after the window closes, then it's hard luck. But, in Lucas' case, it was a serious long-term injury, so it gives the manager some time to play him before assessing if somebody else needs to come in. Like I've said, United have done all of their business (unless we get somebody else, which I doubt will happen). Arsenal have done the majority of their business but still have time to bring in another player. All of the best deals do not always get made late into the window because many of the amazing deals have already taken place. Kagawa was a steal, as was Cazorla. Allen has gone to Liverpool, as has the loan deal for Sahin. Everton have managed to keep hold of some of their prized players, which is a big boost for them, as well as Newcastle who have managed to do the same. The smart teams will do their business early and allow the team time to gel. It makes more sense that way. Plus, why would you not do most of your business beforehand and try to gain the maximum amount of points available to you? Two games will have taken place before the deadline. It doesn't really make sense to wait until the end and deny yourself the best opportunity to get these points. As for big deals, many big deals have already taken place. What about United's massive bid for Lucas Moura, who ended up going to PSG? Or the deal for Van Persie? All this talk of Spurs bringing in big money replacements is a smoke-screen. As I pointed out, you've never spent (as far as I can tell) more than 17 million on a player. I don't really see any indication that you'll suddenly spend 25 million on a striker or a midfielder. Especially as their wages will cost a fortune, too. It's far more likely it'll be a "smaller" name. Wouldn't be surprised at all if you buy back Berbatov.
-
Really, you believe that Modric would have been sold AND you'd have replacements? Other teams have sold players and have brought in replacements. Arsenal have sold Van Persie and brought in Giroud, Cazorla and Podolski. This is more to do with Tottenham's reluctance to spend money. Past transfers As far as I can see, you've never spent more than 20 million on a player. In fact, you haven't spent 20. The highest I could find was 15 for Defoe and for Bentley. In one sense, financially, that's great for the club. In the other sense, it automatically rules you out of the running for some of these top players you are reported to be after. Jan Vertonghen is the most expensive player you've bought in about 4 years. Those two are good buys, but the truth is that there are so many gaps that need filling in Spurs' team, including making the bench competitive. Last season, Spurs were flying and then stuttered because of poor squad rotation and not having a good enough bench. There's no progress on bringing another striker in and really this should also be Friedal's last season as your number one keeper. I'm sure that deal means that Real will get first refusal on Spurs' players when they choose to sell. Presumably that means vice versa, so Spurs will also get first refusal. Here's an interesting one, did Spurs even bother going in for the Sahin deal? The clubs were already doing business over Modric, so why didn't they ask for Sahin? The way I see it, they're going in for these big names, but realistically they don't have a chance of getting them. I'll be surprised if Nani does go. Anderson, I'm not sure about. He's spent a lot of time injured and has barely managed to get a stretch of games together. I feel he can do well but injuries seem to be his issues. If he can get a whole season behind him, I'm convinced he can be a success. Nani has improved quite a bit but does have the occasional terrible game. When he's on form, he's probably one of the best in the league in his position. But, his crossing needs improving still, which must be annoying for Fergie and the coaches. I don't think we'll sell either. I hope we don't. We'll be lighter squad wise if we do, which I don't think is a good thing. It's more likely that the papers have deducted that since Kagawa and Young have come in, players from their position will most likely be shipped out. If anything, these rumours should help the players play better. When Nani was rumoured to be leaving around the same time Valencia was hitting form for United, he decided to up his game and has looked great since. Edit: I misread something. You paid around 17 million for Modric and roughly the same for Bent.

Friendlies don't really tell you all that much since they're not hugely competitive. Plus, it's just a way of building up match fitness. You don't really know how your team is going to play until the play competitive games, which all starts in the league. Devil's advocate here, let's just say that you have a player who has just come back from a long-term injury like Lucas. I hear he went off injured very early on yesterday. Let's say his injury is a bad one and he misses the majority of the season. With this transfer window, you are still able to get a replacement. Having the transfer window for the length it is now is the best solution. There are no benefits from having it closed before the season starts. All the smart clubs have already done their business anyway. It's only the ones who are slow who are still dealing. For example, your club. If AVB wants the transfer window closed early, maybe his club should lead by example and do their business the same time as everyone else has.

If I'm on a coach and there's a seat-belt available, I will wear it. Mainly because if something ever did happen and I got into an accident, it would be an incredibly lame way to lose your life or become paralysed or lose a limb. If that is going to happen, it should happen in an extremely cool way, like you were saving a family of kittens from a burning building before the roof collapsed on your leg, or you were jumping from a high place to save somebody who was falling in midair. Seat-belts are a must for me. There's nothing really "cool" about not wearing one. If there isn't one available, then you can't do anything about that.

English-born playing for Scotland, yeah. But, I think Wolves had a right to ask for more money for him. He was their best player and leading striker. Downing was a perfect example of the English tax, because he has never really achieved or done anything spectacular. But, why would Wolves let Matt Jarvis go for pennies when they know that there is a demand out there for English players, especially wingers? 10 million is probably a fair price and even though Cazorla cost a few million more, I wonder how much the wages amount to for both players. It's like the Ade deal. 5 million, yes. Wages will be extortion, though.

I'd love to see some of those changes that you mentioned. I've only visited the store a few times, but there was no special feeling about it at all. It just feels like every other store. In reality, it should feel like the best GAME store in the UK, as it should be the best that GAME have to offer. Very meh. I'm hoping we'll get a new competitor who will come in at some point and revolutionise gaming stores. They're very drab at the moment and just seem to be a place where you can either buy over-priced games or pre-owned titles. No wow factor.
