I'm seeing it Saturday, so I've got an extra day to recover. But, I still worry that I'll suddenly start feeling extra worse on Saturday. Especially if the film is quite long... We'll see. I'm nervous as hell about it now, too. Come down to Bournemouth brah and I'll go and see eet with you.

I have to admit, I'm starting to get a little worried from the scores... The consensus seems to be that it's too long. Hmm. We'll soon see.

I like this game. "Which club has the biggest amount of pricks? Chelsea or Liverpool?" Or even had ex-pricks. I'd say Liverpool. Mascherano should count for double. But, John Terry.

Falcon's Fury is probably the most terrifying thing I've ever seen. :p

Not a fan of either of those, but each to their own. I prefer the quirkiness of 101 or Pikmin over both of those. -
I don't like thread rips. :p Best to start a fresh.

Yodel walk on water compared to those gobshites at CityLink. Worst company I've ever had to deal with. Ine's Dad had bought us a dehumidifier, as we have a ground floor flat and it's a bit damp/has a lot of moisture in the air/high humidity. Ordered it online and got told CityLink would be delivering it. I think they first of all missed their promised delivery date, before telling us that they would be delivering it on another date. That date came and we were given a reminder that we needed to be in the house from 7am til 7pm...We waited til 4 o'clock and still nothing and we needed to leave the house. So, out we went and we came back an hour later. No card on the floor, nothing. So, we assumed they didn't come. We look online to see if we can track it and apparently they "tried" to deliver it at a certain time, but we weren't in and a card was left. It wasn't. CityLink said that they'd try to do it tomorrow. For the whole of the next day, we're sitting indoors and waiting for them to appear. 7 o'clock comes and goes and nothing. I'm furious. I decide to ring their customer services department, where I'm put on hold for about half an hour before somebody picks up before disconnecting, meaning I now have to start over again... 30 more minutes in the queue and I eventually reach somebody. I tell them about the predicament, how no card was left, no delivery for today and I seriously doubt that there was a delivery on the previous day either, about the long wait in the queue to reach their customer services department. The person I spoke to barely listened, said that a card was left (it wasn't) and that we'd have to go down to the depot to get it. I'm enquiring about why the item wasn't re-delivered today like promised and, before I know it, I'm hung up on, again. Nobody bothered trying to call me back. No "sorry you were cut off", nothing. Into the car we go, all the way to CityLink's depot at around 8-ish in the evening. When we arrive there, we can see floods of people inside the depot and queuing outside it, some with cards, some without, trying to get their packages. We overhear their stories/talk to them, and they all have identical stories to ours. "I waited yesterday for a package, it didn't come. I waited today, it didn't come. No card." A dozen or so different stories like that. We queued for about an hour and a half, way beyond the closing time for the depot. The staff were all over the place, no idea what they were doing. Customers were raising their voices, getting quite arsey, making comments. Atmosphere was dreadful. "You should be ashamed." "This is terrible service." "Fucking dreadful!" Eventually, we got our package and left. Arriving home really late. By far the worst company I've ever had to deal with and the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I will never, ever have anything to do with that company, no matter what package I want to get delivered. I'd rather cover myself in paper cuts and bath myself in a pool of salt. @Eenuh's story isn't quite right, because there was no note. What she is actually referring to is the tracking which we found online, which shows that twice our package was out for delivery, without actually being delivered. It turns out that the reason why the staff and company were all over the place was because the delivery drivers were given new routes to deliver packages, and apparently this was very inefficient and caused a great percentage of their goods to simply not reach their destination.

The night has passed and the morning has come. How have your opinions changed once you've managed to get some sleep and take in the information that you've learned? For me, I was pleased with the Nintendo Direct yesterday, but was quite shocked at just how negative some people were on this forum about it. After the disappointment from last year's E3, I thought that this was much more positive and I'm 100% certain to get a WiiU now. Highlights for me. Donkey Kong - Although I haven't finished the Wii version, this looks brilliant and it'll be a must-have. I spent the majority of that trailer just salivating over everything, what I was seeing, hearing, experiencing. It looks like a joy to play. X - I'm disappointed slightly that we didn't see or find out more about this, but I can't wait for this. So pumped. It's not the sequel to Xenoblade that I thought it was, it'll surely be something different entirely. I don't mind. I just want more Monolith. Can't wait. Mario Kart - MKWii left me very bitter about the series, but 8 looks outstanding. It's beautifully crafted, the level design looks tremendously well done and there looks on first glance to be a greater emphasis on racing, as opposed to weapons or random shit occurring. I do enjoy the format for these NDs and I'm pleased to know that there will be more throughout the year. So, personally, I thought it was a good ND and the more I reflect on it, the more I think Nintendo did a good job with it. My criticism would be that I would have preferred it to be longer, but apparently it's the same length as the other NDs. It could have possibly done with either an extra title being shown, or with the news that Mario Kart was launching earlier.

I'll start off with Shorty's last post in Good Stuff. I disagree, especially with the notion that nothing happens in the films. The film is a beautiful journey. One man's last adventure. Personally, I love the film, and it's most probably my favourite pixar animation.

I really, really, really think we need a new thread for this!

I love that image. I can understand the criticism to some extent, because Galaxy was outstanding. It's a tough act to follow. But, not every game can be a Galaxy. The more I see of this, the more I warm to it and I'm sure others will, too. Ultimately, if the gameplay is great and people have a blast playing it, then surely Nintendo have got this one correct.

I find it hilarious, personally. When Wind Waker came out, everyone was saying they'd rather it was another Ocarina or Majora. When Sunshine came out, everyone wanted another SM64 instead. Now, everyone wants Sunshine and Wind Waker. :p Personally, I think it looks great. What do they have to do to satisfy the hardcore? Simple. Zoom the camera in right behind Mario, like a Mario 64 POV, and everyone is happy.

As someone who loathed Mario Kart Wii, this looks beautiful. The track design looks about a billion times better than the Wii version. It seems like there's a greater emphasis on racing and less on randomness or weapons. Day One, if I have a WiiU by then. Nintendo NEED to get this out before Christmas. Imagine a bundle with both this and 3DWorld.

Pikmin, the Wonderful 101 and Rayman (to name a few) are out before then. All are very interesting. In fact, I want all of those before Arkham. -

... You are being a true prick. Shove your questions up your arse. -
I...quite like the look of this now. I disliked it at first, but it's not going to be THE 3D Mario on the system. It's almost like another pillar. On the Wii, you had Galaxy for the hardcore, and NSMB for the casuals. This is somewhere between. It's almost like a new series in itself. It looks good, but I worry about it being too samey or too similar to SM3DLand.

Gentlemen's Mafia III - The Court of Miracles

Whoa, calm down there, wartortle. What would I have revealed? A really bizarre question to ask given that I've already revealed pretty much everything in this thread, with zero fucks given. I would have just said who my night targets were. Or, if I didn't particularly fancy it at that moment in time, something about my personality, like when you said you were a master of illusions. I would have quoted that again, which is what I've already done once in this game where something asked something about me (think it was Yvonne). People miss things first time around, all you have to do is just quote it where you said it. I hate you all, as I now do this game. I've been sat on a toilet for most of this day, being ill. Now, I have to read this shite. -
Your problem is that you want everything to be a revolution. It doesn't work like that. DKC was revolutionary, whereas 2 and 3 were more of an evolution. It's the same with this. It's the evolution of the already fantastic formula, but just made even better. It's a challenge. Although you might identify with some of the areas you recognise, the layouts are different, including how you get about place to place. The mechanics will be tighter, the enemies will be tougher. It's more about getting that balance right between offering a new entry of a series and a new game and experience. If you alter things too much, people can't identify with it because it differs too much to the original. So, what's different this time? Being in HD is a start, as is the new angles which will change the experience. But, everything being tighter, having newer levels to traverse, seeing Dixie on screen. If you think of it in the same way as DKC2 is to the first, then that's more fair.

I'm not on a high horse. You're the one throwing a hissy fit. What would I have wanted? A little something, anything, to let me know that you were on our side. Something about your personality (like I did when I said I was a con artist), a target for one of the two nights would have been fine, or something that alluded to that. You didn't have to name your target directly. That's up for you to decide. Also, maybe it would have been ok to have some suspicion on you, because the mafia wouldn't kill you off since you're taking some of the heat off them for a bit. Seriously, the tone for some of your posts is awful. Maybe the fact that I've been consistently giving out good information about my character, revealing my power, revealing my voting power, questioning people and putting ideas out there. You know, playing the game rather than sitting in the shadows worrying about being killed off in it. As for me, my character is new, but it does have a link to a previous character in the previous game. It's humour, rather than anything particularly important. -
ReZ nailed it. As for nothing coming close to SM64. Galaxy did, rather before it crapped on it. Galaxy is superior in every way, imo.
