  1. I've voted, too. Graag gedaan.
  2. I saw this thread title and pulled an expression similar to this: Then saw the thread poster and did this: This is neeveeeeer going to happen. Ever. We'll be lucky if we even get a single MGS game on the WiiU, let alone a collection of the five. You've got more chance of waking up as a Nigerian woman with purple mudkipz for breasts than this happening.
  3. Arguably, that's why a lot of people both like and dislike Federer. They like him because he's calm, collected and smooth like butter. They don't like him because he exhibits almost zero emotion or passion. The guy doesn't even sweat!
  4. Tesco are releasing new Oxo cubes in Spurs colours. Customers are told to look out for laughing stocks.

A man was found dead floating in the Thames, wearing a blond wig, full make-up, bra, knickers, suspenders and a Spurs shirt. Before informing the next of kin the police removed the Spurs shirt to save the family embarrassment.

A young boy goes to social services and tells them he has nowhere to live. What about your parents asks the social worker. No, they beat me, says the boy. What about your grandparents? says the social worker. No, they beat me even harder, says the boy. Well ... where do you want to stay then? replies the social worker. Tottenham, says the boy. They don't beat anyone.

  5. That Kirby costume is immense. Also, red link. Girlfriend, right?
  6. 2 handles? Not an N64 controller. There needs to be a minimum of 3. MINIMUM.
  7. Felt quite sorry for Flipkens earlier. I listened to her match on the radio as I was driving at the time, and from the sounds of it she just didn't get going at all. Pure and utter stage-fright. I don't think she really believed she could get to the final and just went through the motions today.
  8. Song is awesome, dude. I wish Bloc Party would stop messing about with "oh, we're a band. And now we're not again, lolz!" and just make some music and TOUR.
  9. That's not really a loop-hole. She's basically being called out on her shitty views, which is perfectly fine since she made those views entirely by herself and out of choice. Should she be "judged" on this? (if judging is even the right word for it, which I don't think it is) Absolutely, because it is pure snobbery. It's also hypocritical how she even named one of her own children India, despite saying herself that she doesn't like names based on geographical locations. What she said was very elitist and it doesn't help break down these class walls that do exist today.
  10. Aaahahahahahaha. "I won't name my child after a geographical location." "But...your child is called India." "Yes, it's a beautiful name." "..." I laughed so hard at Holly's comment at the very end. But, fuck...that video.
  11. - Spotted a well and a totem pole in Nook's over-priced hell hole. - Thought "they would decorate the town nicely" and bought them. - Withdrew monies from savings to buy them. - Get items, realises that they still only work inside houses. - Now has a well and a totem pole in the middle of his house. - Fuck my life.
  12. Episode 4 was just too good. Victor is immense as a character. I'm going to be annoyed when all 8 episodes are shown. The wait for the next season better not be too long.
  13. Isabelle and Fuchsia! God damn, I love me some pink deer.
  14. I've been following the French Open and now this but haven't been posting as we don't seem to have a massive tennis fanbase, or so I thought. I have to lol at some of the haters out there. "Andy's too grumpy!" "The crowd are too biased towards Murray!" "Oh, Andy shouldn't get angry during matches!" "Oh, Murray just wins, there's no heart!" Fuck, we moan so much. I have to say that I am grateful that we have somebody who represents Britain who actually gives a shit about the sport and is actually really bluddy good at it. So what if he gets angry during a match, that shows determination and the fact that he wants to win. It's far, far better than having that Tim "nice guy" Henman who was always polite and would always get his arse kicked. We seem to love losers so much in this country. Also, this: Ridiculous questions. There was another peach yesterday. Something along the lines of "Did you find that match harder than it should have been?" to which Andy replied, "No, I knew it was going to be hard, it's all of you who were saying that it was going to be easy that was the problem." I had to applaud that. He's level headed.
  15. Fuck Beyonce. I got a visit from Tortimer yesterday and have been told that I can now visit The Island. Let's just hope it's better than The Island from that Michael Bay film.
  16. Come on, dude. I'm trying to have a serious discussion here. :p That could well be it. I have to say that the whole "it's glasses-free 3D" angle seems to have disappeared almost entirely. A bit of a shame, I'd love to see more done with it.
  17. Happy birthdays, you sexy people.
  18. I've never been to Thorpe Park before and as Ine hasn't been there either, we decided to take a little trip down there/up there today on her day off. The Layout What's striking about Thorpe is that it's almost the exact opposite in ideas to Alton Towers. The park itself is much smaller and more compact, meaning you can traverse from one end of the park to the other in a short amount of time. In Alton Towers, this can take much, much longer. What's also fantastic is that the trip from the car park to the inside of the park is also very short. There's no long or boring trip after an exhausting day. You leave the park and the cars are right there in front of you. It probably isn't as pretty as Alton Towers, but the ease of getting about was definitely appreciated. The RIIIIIIDEEEES We decided that due to the park closing at 6 and us only spending a day at the park, we thought we'd just spend our time going for the "special" high-tier rides. The Swarm We both loved the theming for this ride. The television sets around the queuing area that was discussing the "situation" in a BBC News24 kind of way was hilariously cheesy, but it added to it. The ride itself is thrilling. We both came off it on a high. I loved the implementation of the plane and fire truck as part of the ride environment. We were also surprised that the queue only seemed to take about 30 minutes, if that, despite being advertised on the boards as twice that. Fantastic ride and we loved it. Stealth Jesus fuck. We went on this three times. Dat start. Dat climb. Dat drop. DEM FEELS. I simultaneously loved and hated this, in a good way. What also added to the atmosphere was that an older woman was in one of the seats behind us and pretty much had a panic attack when she came off. She was shaking, legs went to jelly and the on-lookers looked fucking terrified as they were about to go on the ride. Brilliant ride and the highlight of our trip by some considerable distance. Nemesis Inferno This is a good ride but it's not as "thrilling" as Stealth or the Swarm. In fact, it's a bit ordinary. I'm certain that I prefer Nemesis at Alton Towers, but it's fine. Not a terrible ride by any means, but perhaps it was a mistake to do Stealth twice and the Swarm before doing this one. X We're not sure what the fuck we witnessed when on this ride. It had the potential to be awesome, but it's just all very flat. I'm sure it's great for the younger ones, but it's definitely one of those "go on once, never again" rides. The music and lights inside were fun, mind. Colossus Dem twists and cork-screws. Gave me a fucking headache that I've still got now. It's a great ride and I enjoyed it, even if I felt dizzy as hell afterwards. It's a fun ride and it had the longest queue times for the day, at only 40 minutes, which isn't too terrible anyway. We enjoyed this more than Nemesis, but it's not quite in the same tier as some of the others. Saw Oh my, this was fantastic. THE THEMING. Absolutely perfect. Even just walking into the queue is brilliant, with the steel cage-like fences. That rise to the top before the fall is fucking terrifying, I hated that. In terms of theming and being fun, this is one of the best rides I can say that I've been on. Along with The Swarm and Stealth, this is a fantastic ride and I'd be delighted if more rides like this were at Thorpe in the future. So, there we have it. I don't think we've missed much out. Like I said, we spent most of the time focusing on the bigger rides and we weren't disappointed. Stealth is just something else.
  19. Knock-out post, braaaah. I love Drago so much that I named my Xpert11 team after him. That scene where he climbs the mountain and shouts DRAGOOOOOOOOOO! Inspirational. That film is just fantastic. It's completely different to the others. It's hilarious in a way how its so blatantly obvious that the film is cold war allegory. I love it. The film also has the best soundtrack out of all the films. It's not reliant on that uplifting orchestral score from the previous films. In comes the rock music, in comes James Brown and out comes a soundtrack made for heaven. Or hell depending on your viewpoint. In short, I fucking love that shit.
  20. Could be a massive publicity stunt to promote Watch Dogs.
  21. Cycle it beforehand. Do it on a weekend or a day off to test it. That way you're checking out the journey without actually needing to be at work. You can see if it's do-able and something you're fine with doing on a daily basis. Also, you'll get fitter from it and it will get easier.
  22. I'd go with Moogle's idea of paying a bit more and getting a better bike. Don't sell yourself short on that one. What I'd do is put an extra pair of clothes, shoes and underwear (socks, included) at work just in case you get seriously wet or sweaty, or you end up falling into a ditch or something. You never know. Also, what are the roads like around where you are? I ask because it is very hit and miss in England (Wales, too) with regards to cycling. We love our hills here, as well. If it's only going to be a shorter journey, it would seem like a great idea, particularly as buses can be pretty shit, too.
  23. No way, brah. That's not how it's all going to go down. BEHIND YOU STANDS A SYMBOL OF OPPRESSION...The Town Hall. INE IS YOUR FALSE IDOLLLL. The villagers will rise up and take back what is rightfully theirs. We take Lunaris back from the corrupt and we give it back to them. None shall oppose.
  24. I can't wait til Sunday. Going to buy me some turnips. I HURD U LEIK TURNIPS?! The prices better go high on those during the week if I'm going to overthrow this tyranny being inflicted upon my town by their dictatorship.
