I'm not sure what I'd do if there was an Alien sequel. Think I'd have to change my underwear instantly. No idea how they'd go about it, though. Not sure if they could cover the "one Alien on a ship" scenario again and pull it off. Who knows?

You playing this on PS4 or PC? It's in my top 10 for sure. I'm convinced it'll be number one by the time I finish with it. It's just so well done. I could spend and have spent hours just galloping across the landscapes. The quests are just so well created and executed. Not a single one so far has felt like it's filler. It all contributes to the world and makes everything feel connected.

I think it'll be the latter. Stuff that will be announced for the future, with third parties filling in for the rest of the year. Not really all that bothered if that turns out to be the case. I bought the machine predominantly to get the third party stuff.

This is a strange situation, but ultimately, nobody cares. Yup. I'm being serious. Nobody really cares. The industry has got a new next/now-gen racing sim. Slight Mad Studios have got their name out there and have created a great game that has reviewed pretty well and has been received well by gamers. So where does that leave Nintendo gamers. Well...they were already fucked to begin with, tbh. The Wii wasn't blessed with an abundance of good racers and the racers it did get (third party efforts) were massively inferior to what the other systems offered. (I'm including PC in this, too) The WiiU is continuing with that trend. Hardware that is doomed from the beginning and now a console that isn't selling. It wouldn't have made a difference. Let's look at a number of scenarios. First of all, if you own more than one system, you wouldn't buy the WiiU version because it would have been inferior anyway. Unless there was some massive change in direction with the WiiU version which we don't know about, of course, but that's extremely unlikely at this stage. So, already that rules out this sort of audience. When you're buying a racing sim of this kind, you're going to want to buy the best or at least the more technologically advanced version of it. So, what about WiiU only gamers? Well, the install base isn't that big to begin with and it's not growing all that much. So, at the start, potential sales aren't going to be great. But, is there an audience for this type of game? The answer has to be a resounding no. At this point, the only real people who are sticking with the WiiU are either gamers who want to play EVERYTHING (and who are more likely to get CARS on another more advanced system) or the pure Nintendo-only gamers...who probably won't get the game. Need for Speed Most Wanted has sold just over 201 thousand copies on the WiiU...it sold about 2.7million on the PS3. The audience for this type of game isn't there. If you want this type of experience, you're more likely to find it somewhere else. Pretty much this. I covered this thought in the above post. So, to sum up: nobody cares. PC/PS4/One owners have got their game and this will just go down as another game that isn't coming to the WiiU (The Witcher, Batman, Fifa, Destiny, etc) or will come but be massively gimped and an inferior product (Watch Dogs). I don't blame Slightly Mad for holding their hands up and saying "we tried" because it was a whole heap of work and it probably isn't worth it for all they could have gained. Yes, it's shitty to say there's a WiiU version in the works and then not to come out with it, but I don't think many will kick up a fuss over this one. So few will be affected by this.

I'm not ashamed to say that I'm looking forward to this. I quite like slasher movies in a sit-back-and-lol kinda way. Hope this lives up to expectations. I can see it getting average review scores because I think it'll be hard to review and an acquired taste.

I watched two films yesterday. Batteries Not Included Dat nostalgia. Avengers Assemble This film has made me realise that I don't like Marvel and that I can't stand Robert Downey Jr. Only two things I liked about this film were Mark Ruffalo in non-Hulk mode and Scarlett's arse. I've seen a few others this year but I've forgotten most of them. Will try to use this thread as and when I watch films. Don't go out roaming the fields, hoping to kill beasts this way and levelling up like it's Pokemon. It won't work efficiently that way. I'd stick to the quests as and when they come, I've been finding that a good way to gain experience. I don't know how to upgrade the weapons or armour or if there even is a way. I've been crafting new weapons/gear by using the blue prints that I find or buying them.

I've been trying to explain this to @Eenuh, but I think it's one of those games you need to experience for yourself in order to "get it". The sidequests are utterly brilliant. I can survive in this game off those alone. They don't feel like sidequests either, because they feel like an extension of the main story, just branches that extend from within it or that enrich the main story. I'm also confusing myself a little and finding it hard to distinguish which quests are the main story and which ones are there as a supplement. It's very, very clever how it's done. I love the crafting system, too. It's all clicked now and I understand what I'm doing. But, I also feel that there's like a whole separate side of things that I haven't got into yet or don't fully understand. I felt the same with Bloodborne, like I got through to the end but I still feel that I could start again and play it all very differently.

I loooooved Zero when it came out. That first section on the train was excellent. It loses it a bit towards the end, but the game in general was great. Tempted to get this then and the first one. It'll depend on what I'm playing around that time. I know there's no WiiU version and I know this should make me angry or pissed but...I'm past caring about which games do and don't turn up on that system any more. It no longer affects me.

I don't think it's possible for me to lose any more shit. Buying a PS4 was the biggest laxative I ever could have asked for. Tomb Raider fucking slayed me. Last of Us ran over my slayed corpse and killed me again. Then Bloodborne, my love-hate relationship. Went from worst game evaaaar to best game evaaaar in days. Now this. I think I must've spent 5 hours earlier just running around fields just because I could. I'm not sure my heart can take any more. Going from Mario to this.

Not saying he will/would go there, but if Ancelotti did manage Liverpool, I think he'd be able to win them the league. Excellent manager. Back to Milan, maybe? PSG?

So...Ancelotti has been sacked as Real Madrid manager. I know that Real didn't win the league and won't be winning the Champions League this season, but cmaaaaaan. This is ridiculous. Feel very sorry for the man.

It really depends on what I'm playing. When I was playing Watch Dogs, I was online daily. I was fairly active when doing FIFA, particularly Pro Clubs. Same with DriveClub. At the moment, I'm in it for the single player stuff. But, I'm getting a craving to get back into Battlefield 4.

I went for Story and Sword.

Maybe you didn't say it, but you sorta implied it with the don't want to bother bit. For the most part, I agree with you. It'll just disappear now. Or, if it does come, it'll be downgraded and much later.
