  1. I was #TeamNintendo last gen. Haven't touched a Mortal Kombat since...Deadly Alliance on the GameCube.
  2. Did anyone get this in the end? Can anyone confirm if the game is great or noooot? Tempted to get the XL version of this with all DLC when that's out and wait for Street Fighter 5 to sort itself out. Can anyone help a brah out and tell me if this is a good move or not?
  3. Man, not sure if I can be fucked with all of the waiting around until the game decides to fill itself in. Super fucking tempted to finally jump in and get Mortal Kombat XL when that's out in a few weeks. It's got all of the DLC there and the game is meant to be pretty good with content, too.
  4. Oh, that's just weird. Facebook is a bit of a clusterfuck these days. Far too convoluted for it's own good. Not sure how you ended up seeing that, but I still feel bad as I try to be good when it comes to spoilers.
  5. Ah fuck guys, now I just feel guilt. *won't talk to friends evarrr again* *becomes a hermit* *lives in the mountains*
  6. Apparently there's no CPU versus mode yet? That's pretty much what I want, because I'll be jumping between that and online. (also local multiplayer if @Eenuh fancies playing) Any news on that? That's the ONLY thing I need because all of the other stuff is there.
  7. Last episode:
  8. Sorry about that. I've thought for a long time that Facebook should have spoiler tags as it's a natural thing for friends to want to talk about stuff that they've just seen. After a big episode, the first thing I want to do is talk about it with another fan.
  9. Tempted to do this. I really want a new fighter, but the deal-breaker for me is the apparent lack of single player modes at launch. @S\.C\.G. can you confirm this? What is there to do offline? Gah. It sounds like the actual gameplay mechanics are god-tier, but it's barebones in content.
  10. It has been an absolute pleasure to play through The Wolf Among Us. I've really enjoyed TellTale's The Walking Dead (finished both of them last year) and so I bought The Wolf Among Us purely off the back of that. I had a fantastic time playing through this and finished the whole thing in...about 2 days. I couldn't put it down. The graphical style is a beauty to behold. Very comic book style. The music wouldn't feel out of place in a seedy 80s police thriller and all the better for it! But, the real strength here lies in the characters and the dialogue. TellTale have done a superb job here with all of the backstory for the big characters, as evidenced in the Book of Fables section. I was eager to find out as much as I could about the characters, with lots of little details or one-liners thrown in there that tell you so much about the world that has been crafted in front of your eyes. Highly recommended. I would say that the final episode is just as good as anything that I've played in The Walking Dead. Particularly that "court" sequence and that ending. Overall, I'm glad to have played through it. Sad to have finished it. Definitely want more from this universe. Games of 2016 Flower - Finished Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception - Finished The Unfinished Swan - Finished Grim Fandango Remastered - Finished Race The Sun - Finished The Wolf Among Us - Finished
  11. I just use Chrome on my phone, all day every day. No issues for me. It's the same as browsing the forums on Ine's macbook. I used Tapatalk for a while and found it to be too fiddly and annoying to use. I don't really see the benefits of it. Especially if it doesn't allow for spoiler tags! That's an accident waiting to happen.
  12. Fair enough, I probably wasn't paying enough attention when quoting posts and reading them. (banging headache)
  13. No Man's Sky is a very different situation. They actually gave us everything we wanted in terms of videos and information, advertised the fucking thing, got tons of previews of it and then told us to piss off until next summer. Oh no, I'm not bitter. :awesome:
  14. Yeah, I imagine that they'll show loads of it at E3. Which is fine, but... I agree with all of this. It does feel like we've known about this game for a long time yet know very little about it. It doesn't really follow the same model that you mentioned for Mario 3D.
  15. That's my order, too. Except, I'd chuck Skyward Sword out of the list and pretend that it never existed. So, technically, Wind Waker would still be last. I really wouldn't mind Nintendo doing what they did with Ocarina and Majora again. Release one game with one story and then re-use the engine, mechanics, graphical style but come up with a completely different storyline and flip the idea on its head. It also would allow them to get out two Zeldas in quick succession. 2 years between Ocarina and Majora is awesome.
  16. Not trying to get on your back or owt, but one could look at your situation and say that the site is to the detriment of your life. Just another way of looking at it. A work place has its plusses and minuses. One of the best things about it is that you're able to connect with others and meet new people with different interests. You're then able to connect on different levels and talk about a wide range of things. It changes you as a person. There has to be a middle-ground, a balance, where you can do something that you enjoy doing and then have all of the other good things in life, including good people. It's also something that I think gets harder with age. Do you really want to be in the same situation in, say, 10 years from now?
  17. I've finally started this game and I'm having an excellent time with it. Just finished episode three, although I don't think I'll get any more done tonight as The Walking Dead starts again tonight. (tv show, not the game, haaar) The visuals and sound are fantastic. It's a shame that the soundtrack isn't on Spotify because I want to listen to the shit out of it.
  18. I would be pretty pissed off. When I bought a GameCube, part of that was because I knew I'd be getting a new Mario, a new Zelda, a follow up to F Zero X, a new Wave Race and a brand new Mario Kart. (there were other titles like Eternal Darkness and the REmake, but these were a big reason for me to get a Cube) We've not had follow ups for F Zero and Wave Race for a while. But, we've had Zelda and Mario. I'm not going to pretend like I've enjoyed the WiiU's offerings because I really haven't. However, having no new Zelda for the system is unthinkable. It's a staple. It's expected. When you buy a Nintendo console, you expect a new Mario and a new Zelda. For those reasons alone, that's why I think it'll launch on the WiiU first. Whether it releases on NX is another matter, but it'll be a huge embarrassment to back at the WiiU in a few years time and to remember it as a console without a Zelda. I'm disappointed at the lack of news, previews or even general knowledge surrounding this game. It worries me that we know so little about it.
  19. I wouldn't hold out much hope on us beating anyone at the minute. We made Sunderland look like Real Madrid yesterday. Think Arsenal will tear us apart, especially if they put away their chances.
  20. #TeamNeverplayedaCrashBandicootgame Not sure if excited. Not even tried Crash Team Racing, despite loads of people claiming it were amazing.
  21. I'm not excited for this in the slightest. It's rapidly dropping off the radar and the only real reason I'm even holding out the tiniest bit of hope is because of the Star Fox name attached to it.
  22. So...had we won yesterday, we would have only been three points off City for fourth. Wat. How bizarre would it be if somebody like Southampton or West Ham poached fourth position off City? Another great match, very exciting. It looked like City were going to get the winner and then BAM, Spurs get it. I don't agree with the penalty decision, but it's City...so I don't give a fuck really.
  23. Gutted for Leicester, but they only have themselves to blame for the second half performance. Too many rash tackles, players not using their heads when they needed to and giving away stupid free-kicks...like the one at the end. Also, it was frustrating to see Schmeichal lumping the ball forward from the goal-kicks when they only had Vardy up there...just giving the ball back to Arsenal each time. However, taking six points from Liverpool at home, Arsenal and City away is a great achievement and I think they're still on to win the title. They're going to be playing Champions League football next season, so anything more than that is just a bonus...a hell of a bonus, too! Their fixtures: Norwich (home) West Brom (home) Watford (away) Newcastle (home) Crystal Palace (away) Southampton (home) Sunderland (away) West Ham (home) Swansea (home) Man Utd (away) Everton (home) Chelsea (away) If they win all of their home games, that's 21 points. Realistically, you're looking at about 80+ points needed to win the title. So, with Leicester on 53 points...you'd say that they need at least 27 points to do it. 9 wins. They've only lost once at home in the league all season, so winning their remaining home games against the opposition listed above isn't beyond the realms of possibility. They've only lost three all season anyway...so...let's say 2 (away, most probably) in their final 12 games. That's 10 wins which equals 30 points which will bring them on to 83. I reckon they'll do it. The last three games in particular are tough and playing Watford away and West Ham at home will also be tough. But, I could see them doing it. Judging on their results this season and who they've lost against, (Arsenal twice and Liverpool away) you've got say that it's within reaching distance for Leicester. VOTE: Leicester.
