    You can justify with all this no antivirus etc, but then if it doesn't run all the programs you need, then you have to dual boot, doesn't that really defeat that argument anyway? what's the point of having a mac and a mac o.s when you just end up running windows anyway? o_O Paying for two OS's seems really unnecessary. And added onto the top of the cost of the machine itself. Seems like its just wasting money for the hell of it... Just blows my mind why someone would do that. If you are definitely windows-inclined with whatever your life/hobbies/study requires, I'd stick with a pc.

    yeah your visa will be a chip and pin.. its been in for at least 3 years.. instead of signing, you put in a pin number? Northern Ireland is part of the UK...

    Its chip and pin, bank cards aren't. aka you can use it in stores, internet, like a debit card. You can't with a bank card.

    not everyone has nor wants a credit card, so not really. Some people just no matter how hard they try haven't the control to have a card. So this makes perfect sense. Probably something under 18s can use too, because I imagine its not age/credit score based. Gotta think about it from more than your own point of view.

    woohoo. I don't think doctors like to diagnose stuff anymore unless they have to (or its blates!) but at least they've given you something!

    That's a shame... There's been a lot of publicity about swine flu not actually being that bad, so I suppose its inevitable really. *mega hugs* Hope you get another job soon!

    he worked overtime without pay dude. Its pretty common in retail. Bad enough that a lot of places pay min. wage! I had to stay til half 9 on many many occasions despite being paid until 9pm. Its a disgrace.

    I pretty much just said the same thing to Giz, keep it calm, let this other mutual friend speak to her. If she wants something (which seems likely) she'll say something. Seems like he's done more than enough of the work!

    The only language (apart from mother tongue) that I could study was French. And this was as recent as 2003

    Methotrexate is renown for its side effects (well it is essentially chemotherapy) But I'll be on a lower dose (10mg rather than 17.5mg) so it's all good. You can usually gauge the potency by the start dose. Bog standard shit like brufen/paracetamol is 500mg - of which you can take 2. Methotrexate has a base dose of 2.5mg Just worried that my veins will be needled to fuck again. Beh >_< edit: gp - you aren't actually allowed to enter the doctors building if you have swine flu go to your emergency service tonight and someone will look at it.

    Hot and very clean :P I lived on RAF bases so it may be somewhat different to what "real life" would be like. Most of the people around me and my family spoke English..

    Lived in Scotland (twice! Elgin), Germany (2 different places; Guttersloh and somewhere else), Northern Ireland (ballymena hey!) Visited; England (london, birmingham, barnstaple, Weymouth, manchester, sheffield!! and probably loads more)

    Woohoo im going back on methotrexate but this time for my arthritis (rather than my skin which it didn't help). hopefully should make it a lot better ^^; Downside is that I have to get blood taken every two weeks for 6 weeks, then monthly... Grr.

    well then you should control it! Silly person I think diabetics have to renew their licence every 3 years or something.. Pretty shocking.

    wiifit told me I was 32 or something when i first tried it, did manage to get it around the age I am after practice. woohoo. Doesn't really take into account your general health and wellbeing though... So its never going to be wholly accurate. I've been up since bloody 6am today. Didn't sleep well at all =( Damn flu. I'm not letting it stop me, I've got a rhematology appt this morning which im not missing for hell nor high water god dammit! I had a mega hot shower which made me feel a ton better. And some porridge, hopefully it stays down.

    Blergh grumble grumble I think I have a bad cold. Head is sore, my eyes are fuzzy, can't breathe. =( Damn family, they should know better than sneezing in my face when I have a broken immune system. =(
