  1. I would be the same Android.. I have that exact box-set in my drawers unopened. Must get round to watching it. I've been told its a bit complicated to follow, that's what has put me off watching it sooner
  2. Get you!! Well done dude, looks like your gonna be a fantastic teacher!
  3. Aw that sucks man. You'll get there eventually. Don't lose hope!
  4. Wacom! Nice purchase Strider! edit: also, a bit late but nevertheless; £2000 british pounds for my lovely little car
  5. Yay for odders! Happy birthday!!
  6. for the love of god don't buy a Trust brand tablet. The mouse is just a pointless addon. And probably requires batteries. I've had a Trust tablet and it was a pile of shit. I paid 30 pound for it too. Wasn't worth 50p imo. The other one you linked looks like the "younger brother" to the Bamboo model that I have, seems to be decent enough.
  7. iso is a disc image file that you use to burn copies of a disc
  8. I might have to t-cut the scrapes away and put some gay stripes on. I didn't even hit the wall, just ripped off a few of the pebbles. Fucking pebble dash. >_>
  9. I scraped my car todayyyyyyyy ;_____________; I hate having to get in and out of my parking space at the house. i'm basically doing a 270degree turn in a small space, not hitting a pebble dash wall and parking on a slope. Which I then have to attempt to reverse out of (up said slope) to get out. How the fuck I'm going to do it tomorrow I do not know. My poor car
  10. The thing is no matter what the government does, piracy is here, and its not gonna leave. Whether it be in the market stalls, copying your mates CD, or downloading off the web. Its here to stay. I don't see that much of an issue downloading music. I have done, but its once in a blue moon. I do download a lot of anime (and to be honest I'm not actually sure of the full legalities) Its like the same as the alcohol issues (in this country especially) you can ban cheap booze, you can slap more tax on, you can outlaw it completely, but people will still drink, and still become alcoholics.
  11. Irn bru is awesome, don't diss the Scots, man. =( I'm actually Scottish born and raised. I have lived here (Northern Ireland) for the longest out of everywhere (13 years!) and I gotta say its home. I have awesome friends here, a job I don't really hate, and my family. I went back to Elgin, as nice as it was, it just wasn't home. Everyone I knew as a young'un had moved on. I'll always remember my Scottish roots, but i'm happy enough here.
  12. The fact that they suggested you apply for it is a BIG plus. Yay for flinkeh! Go for it man.
  13. Agreed - yay for other friends! Happy birthday Catherine! :D
  14. to clarify: "how to hold the car still on a hill using just the clutch" I do know how to do a hill start!
  15. I bought mine for £200, p&go on o2. Think it has been discontinued though. Most companies expect you to pay the remaining months of contract length
  16. my car won't actually do that at all, I've tried it a few times. Its only a 1 litre engine and it actually needs gas to move off from pretty much any "hill" and i have been able to do it with my instructors car
  17. I've been outdoing loads of driving lately (woo car! woo licence!) and my mums already started picking holes in my driving, haha. Apparently I don't brake hard enough - don't really want whiplash!! I'm used to a brand new diesel car, the one I learned in, which had absolute feather-light braking. Just touching it at lower speeds was making the car shudder, so I've gotten a real knack of slowly slowly braking. And she was moaning about me coming to a junction in 2nd gear and taking the opportunity to roll out in 2nd if its clear. Apparently that's not safe, but it is what my instructor taught me to do :P Having to basically relearn a lot of my driving skills, because there is so much damn difference in the car I drove and the car I now own! Pretty much every start is a "hill start" for a petrol, whereas a diesel has a lot more pull without having to crank up the gas before you even get going... I thought the learning/test was going to be the hardest thing to overcome, apparently not ¬___¬
  18. They are the most lenient. I got turned down by o2 and 3 would give me a contract. I also have that phone (although not with 3) and its bloody awesome : peace: Do you get the grey colour? it looks nicer than my red!
  19. I'm sure blu ray is just wonderful, but a lot of people just don't have that kind of money to throw around. The only reason I have an HDTV now is cause my old 14 inch box tv was broken my upscaling dvd player cost £60. I'm more than happy with that!
  20. I have an up-scaling DVD player and a HD TV, I'm satisfied with that! way too much money unless you actually want a PS3.
  21. I know with older versions you just got a corporate volume license which could go over as many computers as you want.. But I have a funny feeling they may have stopped this because its basically a free for all for anybody who works in a company with a copy :P I'm assuming that uni students would just get a single use serial number.
  22. woohoo money! Hows the new job going? I just got £300 from my uncle for my computer & 20 inch monitor. Goodbye overdraft!
  23. :(:(:( i'm on it!!
  24. I love the green argument!
  25. Hurrah! *goes back to sleep*
