  1. But it's not about recreating or mimicing, it's about rearranging and jamming. Watch some vids, the stuff you can do to songs, you can create an inifinte amount of versions of all the songs in the game. I'm not saying everyone will love this, but it certainly appeals to me
  2. Yeah I'm the same, I refuse to watch vids etc as I don't want anything ruining it for me
  3. Does anyone know if there's even a possibility that you can open up the Wii Speak channel, connect with 3 other users and then play a game? Is it possible. It's not chatting with everyone, but it would transform Mario Kart for me if I could chat to someone else!!!
  4. I've decided to get this game for xmas. I'm really looking forward to it, but think it will be a good xmas game! To be honest, I'm pretty confident I know exactly what to expect from this game
  5. Hmmm, Elektroplankton lets you create anything you want within the limitations of the stages and Wii Music just lets you rearrange preset songs? Elektroplankton has a more appealing style? You feel less stupid playing Elektroplankton then you do Wii Music? Maybe you will love Wii Music if/when you play it!
  6. Okay, so I finally bought this game. And well......it's not very good. It feels very, very lazy. The graphics are awful, the AI is shit, it's very arcadey, the controls are pretty dodgy (can't decide HOW to pass)...it's all a bit of a bad version of Pro Evo. Saying this, it's still very fun to play (though I just enjoy playing any football game I think) and having all the leagues and squads is very appealing and online works well. I think I'm going to keep it because a few of my friends are getting it and we'll be playing online so that'll be worth it; though I just wish Pro Evo 09 was coming out before xmas On a side note, how stupid are Konami for releasing Pro Evo next Spring? I understand they have just released 08, but releasing it in 09 means they have about 3 months were their game is actually uptodate!!! How fucking ridiculous is that? It will get released, 3 mnths later teams will get relegated and promoted and squads will change!! Just stupid!!!
  7. I'm definitely getting this game, though getting it for xmas as theres too many games I want and I had to think about the ones I could wait for! This being one. But I'm really looking forward to it, I love Horror games and this looks awesome
  8. Obviously depends on the port. But a slightly dumbed down version of the game with wiimote controls would be a better game in my opinion! I prefer MoH: Heroes 2 more than primailry most PS3/360 shooters down to how amazing the controls are! And with this game, I can't see the Wii version lacking too much to be honest.
  9. Vehicles will be shit! As for other things, fact of the matter is, the control on Wii for FPS is more important than anything else!! Every FPS I play on my PS3/360 I just wish I was playing with the wiimote! So if the Wii version is shit, I just won't get any version!
  10. He was talking to me, as I already own the PS3 rock band I can save money on instruments. But I want the Wii version, its my main console, its the console I have huge multiplayer fests on and it seems only logical to have the best multiplayer game on the best multiplayer system. And the Wii has everything the other versions do and the freestyle mode on top. AND the starpower will actually work when I want it to!!! GET THE WII VERSION TAPEDECK!!!!
  11. So this game is out pretty soon, I'm really looking forward to it, though I'm not looking forward to having two game band kits (I own the PS3 version of rock band!!). But this is going to be great. Is it true you can have online bands? If so anyone fancy forming an NEurope one?! Looking forward to trading recordings too!
  12. Argh!!I really don't know what to do. I keep changing my mind. The thing is, the main thing I want is updated squads and teams etc so surely Fifa will offer more (I've heard that loads of deadline day transfers aren't even in the game!!); but I don't think the game will be as much fun as Pro Evo Wii...... hmmm, I may pick up fifa ps3 then!!!
  13. That is an AWFUL trailer, really, really bad. Still, I'm really excited about this game, can't wait to get some reviews in
  14. Okay, so someone tell me whats better this of fifa and why. The pro evo demo impressed me more in the gameplay department but the be a pro mode is tempting; is the legend thing on Pro Evo pretty much the same, control one player?!?! Any help would be appreciated
  15. So this comes out pretty soon and it's only £25. Looks pretty tempting to be honest though I don't know if I've really got time for it, what with stupid amounts of other games to get....we'll see! Anyone else getting it? Also, i thought this game was getting good reviews. what are the nagtives people are talking about?
  16. But I don't think the game is about achieving something, it's about creatibg something. I was initially disgusted at what this was, but after looking at a lot of vids and thinking about it I think it will be great. The wind in the trees may be able to play one version of the song, but I can create a different version of it! And I bet the wind can't play the bells mini game....or the drums..... or change it's playing style.... or turn the Wii on!!!!
  17. Not a chance. Wii Play will still outsell this in its first month. I'm not saying it wont have long legs, i think it will, but it wont come close to matching Wii Play
  18. I always thought this game would be the first (relative) bomb of Nintendos mass market, mass advertised products. Saying this I am now loving the look of this game. I'm really excited about this game and can't wait for it to come out!!!
  19. OKay, I admit, the game has completely won me over. I still think it could have the score driven gameplay as well as this but I'll stop slagging it for what it isn't and appreciate it for what it is. I'm looking forward to it immensely now and have moved it from my xmas list to my day one list The bells mini game will fulfill my score fix!!
  20. I'm sorry but you're not making any sense! You're point just doesn't make sense, and I don't think it's because you're not articulating yourself. Nintendo, every generation, have the best catlogue of games from one development house; it's huge of amazing titlles; titles which are part of a lot of peoples favourite franchises. Most of these will be on the Wii. How is this not a valid reason not to have Nintendo being a major reason the Wii is great!??! Anyway, I've already done my 5; but I'll 5 of the more random reasons the Wii is great. 1. Opening doors in Metroid Prime 3 2. Zooming in with the sniper on MoH: H 2 3. Mii's in games 4. Bunjie Buddies 5. The power you feel playing Force Unleashed
  21. This game is getting better and better http://gamevideos.1up.com/video/id/22064 Starting to get a little excited about it
  22. Hang on, this is 5 things we love, dont add 5 bad things too So why post? Only if it's faulty, and then it STILL is WAY quite than the atrocity some people call the 360! And we have the fan to cool the beast down, we struggle to hear each other speak!
  23. Good idea and some great responses. 1. Control This is the biggest for me, I was bored last gen; I was getting older and I thought I was just too old for this gaming malarky. How wrong was I. I was just very bored with what was happening, just spruced up games, licenses ruling the roost and just generic game after generic game. There was some gems - Animal Crossing, Wind Waker, Metroid Prime but it wasn't until Jungle Beat were a game 'excited' me. The DS got me back and the Wii sent me over the edge. The wiimote makes average games good and great games amazing. I hate playing FPS on PS3/360, same with football games, adventure games and...well...pretty much everything. Every great game I play on my next gen console I just wish I could play on the Wii. 2. Accessibility Call it casual, call it what you like, all I know is that I LOVE the fact that my non gaming friends love playing the Wii, my game hating family love it, my girlfriend is obsessed with it. It's great I experience gaming with these people I never thought I would. I also love all the new software it's brough that people feel so free to hate on - Wii Fit, Olympics, Rayman etc. 3. Nintendo Games I've always loved Nintendo and their software; they have a quality that only companies like Ghibli, Pixar, old Disney, The Beatles.....a timeless quality that no one can realy match; theres the odd exception but generally Nintendo just amaze me with their products. Even their worst (Sunshine, Wind Waker etc) is better than anything else; and all these games on the Wii are proving to be as incredible as ever, with some great wiimote touches. 4. VC, Channels, WiiWare Just amazing to play through all the games I grew up on (not just Nintendo but all, even C64), it's great to see some really creative games on the WiiWare and I also love all the channels (if only Nintendo made it so I can store EVERYTHING!!!!). I love all this stuff and the future is only going to get better as WiiWare improves and more consoles and games get added to the VC. 5. The Future I'm not afraid to admit it, I LOVE that Nintendo are back on top. Yes some of their decisions concern me but generally the future is frighteningly good. I think the Wii will echo the DS so the Wii looks to hold some amazing pieces of software, already 2009 looks insanely good. Add that to more Nintendo franchises, developers getting more of a handle of how the wiimote works then things just look too good. And that's not even mentioning what will happen with motionplus and the balance board!! Fact is, I couldn't be more excited about owning the Wii!!!
