I want you to convince me to get this game, not discourage me Tell me is amazing about it, especially in comparison to Pro Evo Wii!

COMPLETELY different. Madworld will be fine. It was the REAL depiction of violence and the context it was in. You can't get more violent than Mortal Kombat yet thats been fine since day 1. Madworld is so stylised and cartoony it will be absolutely fine!

So if you can't DRAG the players, then surely the only thing you can do is pass where ever you want? Hmm...... I think I'll go with the Wii version only because more of my friends are getting that version; but I actually think the PS3 version sounds better What a waste EA, what a waste!!

I love Pro Evo's controls and if these are worse then that's not good.....hmmmmm!!! What to do , what to do!! When you say you can make players go on runs, do you mean point somewhere and press - and they run there, or do you mean press the button and they will go on 'a' run, but you can't decide where?! Sounds like EA have done a complete half job with this game and concentrated all their efforts on the next gen versions, same with their marketing!!!

You CAN'T drag the players around the pitch!?!? So the controls are more simple than Pro Evo!?!?! Are you sure about this? What are the controls like in comparison to Pro EVo generally? I love Pro Evo, if this is as good that'll do me. If it's worse then I might fuck it off

See EA, you dont advertise and don't let magazines actually play it and it won't sell!!! Fifa did pretty well last year, why have they ignored it this year?

Great, I'm the guinea pig I 'll probably pick it up tomorrow. A few of my mates are getting it and I've been scouting around for hands on impressions and everyone seems to be loving it. Good enough for me. Damn the Be a Pro mode sounds good though

They say this game is dfferent to Pro Evo Wii because in this version you just click to a space and the player AI goes towards the ball. THATS EXACTLY THE SAME AS PRO EVO! They make out that in Pro Evo you have to draw a line from the player to the ball which is a lie! They also say to shoot you just flick the wiimote, just like in Pro Evo......erm, no, you flick the NUNCHUK to shoot (wiimote chips). Really makes me doubt their opinion. They also slate the Pro Evo defending saying you have no control of them. This is true for the first hour or so of playing, but more time with it shows how deep the defending game actually is!!! Still, great score!! I'm still completely torn on what to do with this game!! PS3 or Wii, PS3 or Wii?

Has anyone here got this and Pro Evo Wii? Can you tell me if it's as good or better. Pro Evo Wii is the best footy game ive played in years and I can't wait til Pro Evo 09 in Spring! I need a footy game to tide me over, and this is very tempting, but it'll frustrate me if it pales in comparison to Pro Evo Wii; I don't care about the modes (though they sound amazing), i want to know how the actually football game plays. I played the demo and it seems okay, not amazing; wondered how it holds up over time

How's that strange? We both agree that EA are letting this one fend for itself. You think it's because you think EA think it will sell anyway. And I think it may because it's a bad game and they want to concentrate on the next gen version. Both seem acceptable to me. The thing is with your case, is wouldn't Fifa sell anyway? Also, it's not just the marketing, it's the playtests and the reviews. No letting people actually play the game is just weird, and there must be a reason for it. I think it's pretty shameful to be honest, EA have been great with the Wii, but this is a truly baffling decision.

I can't believe no one has got this. EA have completed let this game fend for itself hasn't it and given its love and attention to the next gen versions. The unwanted child!! The only explanation is that the game is complete shit!! WHich is a deep shame!

GOd 360's are awful arent they?!? Rolle on the xbox 720!! Hope MS learn from their huge mistake. I'm really tempted by this game. I might pick it up to be honest on the PS3; the Wii version has been completely deserted by EA which is a shame and there must only be one reason for it - it's shit!! So I may get this until PES 09 Wii comes out!!! I don't want to use a control pad to play football games anymore, but it looks like I may not have a choice!!! Out of curiosity which version was selling the best. And how is the Wii version selling?

But can't motionplus just be used to make your hits register more effectively; not bothered about placement or anything; but WIi Sports Boxing doesn't exactly register every single hit!!

So it's out and there's still no reviews, playtests or even reports from people who have played it. Surely it all points to it being absolute dogshite!!!! Anyone here bought it? I'm tempted by it, but just want to know how it plays!

No Punch Out!!

I just don't understand quite how it works. How does it know you tap with both hands to jump. Is it because it's more force, and thus if you did it with one hand hard it would jump. What about the people who are heavy handed will they even be able to run or just jump all the time.....? Game is very intriguing, but I just don't get how it works. Can the smallest movement in the wiimote really be detected with that much precision?

I know, but I really thought I could put it down, I do with even the best games. But I just couldn't stop. For the first 5 minutes I was a bit disorientated, was unsure how flicking for jump was working etc. But 10 mins later I really started to understand how it worked and loved all the challenges etc. Just couldn't stop playing it. Now I have a dilema, I've nearly finished Forc Unleashed, still playing through Wario, Scarface, Bully; loads of DS games, MGS4 and Resistence. No more heroes. But I just want to play this......do I be strong and save it with Okami for the autumn, and finish off a few older games. Or do I yeild to the darkside and play through de BLOB?!?!

Disaster for me. POssibly Dead Space though may get it at for xmas along with LittleBigPlanet. I have to think about what games I have to get on release, and what games will make great xmas day games.....

Sounds amazing. How do you know its a DSWare game? Will the DSLite be updated with all these functions? It will be suicide if it isn't!!

Okay, decided to play this last night, a quick 10 minutes to check it out. It was late and I had to get up early!!! Over an HOUR later and I'm still playing!! The game is quite simply amazing; and anyone who was thinking this or Wario, this is loads better (and I LOVE Wario); everyone needs to get this game! This and Zack and Wicki are games that need to be in everyones collection!! I can't believe this game hasn't been selling very well, it's tragic!!!

Like your ideas. I own most gamecube games and I don't think i'd up for replaying them. The ones I probably would are Mario Golf and Tennis, Wind Waker and Pikmin. Possibly Geist too as I never played that; as long as they iron out the bugs too! Over all I think this is a great idea. They'll be AMAZING titles for very cheap and a slew of hardcore games. Saying that this better not be taking away from ANYTHING the studios are making! I'd rather one new Nintendo Wii title then 30 ported Cue ones!

My girlfriend is going to cream herself over this!!
