What would they call it if not starfox 64 or lylat wars?
-
Graphics look lovely, can't wait.

Either you need to work on explaining things better, or I need to get smarter. Maybe a bit of both, because I don't understand that and what you're trying to say. What problems need to be changed? Why not just make a new Zelda/Mario? Because that takes 20x the resources, budget etc? maybe? Maybe a new Zelda and Mario ARE in the works as well? Strange reasoning you have

How fecking amazing does the silhouette level look!!! I hope there are plenty of them and not just 1. In fact I'd love a whole game made like that, with stunning colourful backdrops. (oh and the rest of the game looks stunning too of course, never got into DK, until now! Same with Kirby and Metroid)

Just seen your site Goafer, so now I know where to buy from. Especially having just looked around at other Sex bob-omb parody tshirts, that are rubbish in comparison.
-
I will :p (when I have more funds at the end of the month)
-
I'd definitely buy one

Gamecube controller. Nice design, very comfortable to hold and the C analog stick was great! Rotating the camera in Wind Waker with it felt so natural, then TP lost that ability which felt like a step backwards. PS1 had a good controller and N64 is a bit of a classic design-wise

(can't get youtube tags to work for some reason) One of my favourite retro games back in the day on the NES. Anyone else fall in love with this classic?
-
Rainbow Island! Thanks, what a classic game that was. Bubble Bobble on the NES is still one of my favourite retro titles though. Stunning gameplay and gorgeous graphics. And when you find that secret door at the end, and realise you're only half way through?! Genius. (Sorry to go OT)

Lazy port and a booklet. woohoo.

If they hadn't rushed Wind Waker's release date, and been forced to ditch two temples, it would have been a masterpiece. As it is, in my opinion anyway, it's a spectacular game, filled with wit, life and magic and stunning visuals/audio... but not quite as good as it could be. TP was quite good, more or less. Again, IMO. That's just it though, since when has Zelda been about motion controls? How are they going to make it an excellent game? I just hope they're not dumbing Zelda down to appeal to the casual market who'll get turned on by the idea of 'rolling a bomb', or other seemingly gimmicky motion controls. As much as I loved the latter, PH and ST are dumbed down considerably, I just hope the same won't be true of SS. I also get the feeling Nintendo weren't ready to show a demo of SS at E3, and only showed it because of all the hype and expectation. Could be wrong though. At the end of the day, we know practically nothing about SS, so it'll be interesting to see how things develop in the next 6-12 months. This argument makes no sense. I don't feel the need for a remake, it would just be very cool to have one with updated graphics and a 3D effect. There's no necessity at all, but having the means to carry one of the greatest games of all time in your pocket, with improved visuals is rightly getting a lot of people excited.
-
Nice generalisations there, as per usual. Maybe because the Skyward Sword demo was pretty poor that the hype isn't what it could be? Maybe because SS looks exactly like 'the same old Zelda'. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but a tech demo of the same old thing with motion controls isn't going to make fans freak out.

Because Nintendo have always been so keen to implement multiple difficulties in Zelda games right? - Master Quest was a one-off gimmick, I doubt very much they'll include it and muddy the water for new Zelda gamers.
-
Why would they include Master Quest? Why bloat the game with a pointless add-on? Horseback combat is unlikely and unnecessary, but with stylus control it may not be that hard to implement.
-
The guy they use for the Gametrailers narration really is awesome. Their clips wouldn't be the same without him. I still can't believe Nintendo introduced this behind the scenes with as little fanfare as possible. I understand they didn't want to take the hype away from Skyward Sword but still. They introduced a new dungeon in Link's Awakening DX for the Gameboy Colour, although it was only a small one. Maybe an extra standalone mini dungeon in OOT 3D? Can't wait, particularly to see the updated visuals.

Indeed it is, just seems a bit rubbish to remove video recording/playback from the nano all because of 'form', and limit the camera in the touch to taking terrible quality stills.
-
Awesome classic, this, that similarly styled rainbow game (can't remember the name) and Bubble Bobble on the NES kept me very entertained back in the day.
-
Shuffle, decent backtracking to a better design Nano, ugly, crippled, sums up Apple's form over function philosphy quite beautifully. The old nano's were gorgeous, especially with all the colours they came in, and the click wheel is iconic. The new design is just stupid and pointless. Seems to be getting slated by most online it seems. touch, good upgrade but more expensive so it should be. So it can record HD video but only 640x480ish pics, laughable.

Clouded Pixel, are you killer_kirby in disguise? Absolute rubbish. And please stop tarring everyone in this topic with the same brush. Most of us are quite aware what the concept of the E3 tech demo was, and that the game is likely to develop over time, regardless of your pointless rant. The Zelda-fanboy bashers are getting more annoying than some of the whiner Zelda fanboys themselves.

Semi O/T: as far as Pixar movies go, I think Ratatouille is actually my favourite. I'm probably in the minority though but that film is awesome to watch. Plus any movie that makes CGI food look that delicious gets a thumbs up in my book

The silhouette levels look fantastic

I'm very pleased they put back the sound effect of jumping on Yoshi's back from Mario World. It was annoyingly absent from Sunshine

So, Ocarina of Time, Mario Kart, Pilotwings, Street Fighter IV, Lylat Wars, Sonic, Paper Mario, Kid Icarus.... What an unbelievably line up of games. I want this thing now.
