  1. Great stuff, LOL'd at the shy guys part
  2. 'kin hell I can't wait. They have to make Majora's Mask after this, surely...?! Love Link's new jumping animation and the framerate looks great. (Zelda geek mode) Can't be arsed to check, but I swear they've shortened that initial burst of light out of the treasure chest? I remember it being much bigger and stronger. Can't believe I noticed that.
  3. Please please please be right
  4. Great new screens, looks fantastic, but I assume those mock-ups are fake? The horrendously ugly fanboyish logos give it away, although I like the idea of them revisiting Link's Awakening and giving it a new modern logo.
  5. "And so they'll be ready, they'll be ready soon. Just not in that initial time period of late March to early June." We have to wait until July-August at the earliest for Zelda!?!? FFS. On the plus side, that interview makes it seem like Pilotwings is a launch game
  6. I wasn't sure if TP was classed as retro so left that game out... but now that we're on it, Stallord was insanely cool heart pounding stuff. TP was pretty good for bosses as another fantastic one: Something about being on this floating mass up in the clouds, stormy weather, rain and lightning everywhere as you clawshot your way around the dragon, and then eventually on it. One of the two most epic boss battles in all of Zelda I reckon.
  7. I basically could have picked a couple of dozen moments from the Zelda games I love, but here are a few that really stick out... In no particular order... 1. Majora's Mask: The Moon - Total WTF moment, insanely cool and surreal, symbolised the game perfectly 2. Wind Waker: Tower of the Gods rising - Quite possibly one of the coolest sequences ever in a Zelda game. Awesome, epic, great music and the art style of the game brings it to life. Plenty of Zelda games had you putting pearls and stones in various places, but in this instance the placement actually made a bit more sense! 3. Wind Waker: Forbidden Woods - In particular, using the Deku Leaf and the air currents to float your way there was FANTASTIC. Particularly if you happened to do it at night, which made the effect even cooler. 4. Wind Waker: The Forsaken Fortress - The very first moment I realised how much creative genius when into this masterpiece of a game. (doesn't TP look stale by comparison) 5. Ocarina of Time: Shadow Temple - the galleon/boat ride. Pure genius, with the Triforce symbol, bells on the front, and having to fight baddies before jumping off before it's too late. Great eerie inclusion to an under-rated dungeon. 6. Majora's Mask: Deku Palace - Mostly because I adore the music haha Just a few thoughts...
  8. I'd be very surprised if GB games were in 3D, they'd make a bigger deal out of it, and it's unlikely anyway.
  9. I'm assuming parachuting is making a return? I didn't play much of the 64 version, were there those military style rescue levels from the SNES game? Mind you I can't see those making a return here. Retro Pilotwings background music would be nice though And instructors
  10. And yet you play as Ganondorf on Smash Brothers
  11. Majora's Mask on the 3DS would make me weep with joy like a little girl
  12. Oh to be able to play two of the greatest games ever for the first time.
  13. It's also a niche casual game, only appealing to a certain demographic. Whereas Mario Kart, or Pilotwings would appeal to all. Street Fighter is proably the biggest launch title, but it's not even an Nintendo game.
  14. Fine stagger the releases, but at least give us ONE major title at launch. Pilotwings, Resi evil, Mario Kart, Paper MArio, Ocarina, Kid Icarus, Starfox etc etc I assumed it would be in the same way that Mario 64 was a DS launch title.
  15. If you'd played the SNES version, you wouldn't be asking that Agreed, that was my favourite part of the game as well.
  16. It's £229 at Game, or at least the one I went to, which also had the same launch titles listed above. If true, that would be a truly pathetic launch line-up. They have these fantastic games for the 3DS, none of which are available at launch. OOT or Pilotwings at least, come on nintendo.
  17. Sorry to ask a dumb question, but where's the best link to keep an eye on the NOA updates?
  18. Yes if Nintendo managed to go back in time 3 years and spend all that time developing one from scratch. OOT will do fine for now.
  19. Agreed, absolutely love Sunshine, fantastic game. Those retro non-waterpack 3D levels were great fun too, unlike the equivalent Special galaxy in Galaxy 2, which was boring as ****
  20. I'd be surprised if there wasn't a third and final Galaxy game. The engine is too good to only keep to two games. Plus it would mirror the Super Mario Bros 1, 2 and 3 of the NES quite nicely.
  21. Looks really great, well apart from Link's face which looks a little freaky. Glad to hear they kept the sound effects, in particular the Z targetting lock-on sound + Navi's "LISTEN!". Yes I'm a bit odd
  22. Sounds and looks great. Really hope they do Majora's Mask next
  23. As long as the battle mode tracks are SIMPLE and aren't the size of small cities. All 4 SNES battle modes + the feather would be a very welcome addition IMO. Oh and hopefully the idiot who thought it would be a good idea not to let people play multipayer battle 1 vs 1 has been sacked.
  24. Agreed, I'd be VERY surprised if there were more than the 1 island. I quite like the idea of it being based on Wuhu island or whatever it's called, loved the place in WSR.
  25. Does anyone else on here prefer Pilotwings on the SNES to the N64 version?
