Wii U has sold circa 6 million units, I would hazard a guess that at least 98% of them upgraded from a Wii. Maybe that % percentage would not be as high for PS4 & XB1 as they are such similar consoles with mostly the same games, but the point remains that mostly people are brand loyal and upgrade. So comparing Wii Fifa to PS4 Fifa serves no purpose whatsoever in this discussion. One word answer, is the Fifa upgrade bigger from Wii-WiiU or PS3-PS4?

what a drab final day to season. I was expecting so many games to be critical. Now the bottom 3 are gone, top 4 are confirmed and City are almost nailed on. Plus the FA Cup is a foregone conclusion. At least Spain should be brilliant Atletico vs Barca final game, winner takes all.

WHY! They are two games I have played on both systems, so have first hand experience in comparing the difference, plus a quick glance at the sale figures show they are two of the biggest franchises on the market. So give a better example of games that are on all three systems that can be compared from last gen to this gen. we are talking about the upgrade between Wii-Wii U, PS3-PS4, 360-XB1, what point would comparing Wii Fifa to PS4 Fifa achieve SILLY!

indeed, that's why the upgrade is more worthwhile. The difference between FIFA and COD on Wii & Wii U is vast, whereas on PS4 and XB1 it's neglible.

just wanted to say fair play mate. I know I've been critical of you in the past for condoning and or feeding the anti Nintendo/pro Sony vibe on here but that's a great post right there. The thing for me looking at those numbers and also the list of games that were posted above and it becomes quite apparent that this gen is very much the gen of sequels. The lists for all companies is littered with FIFA, COD, AC, NFS, Just Dance, Skylanders, Lego etc. There is very little in the way of new games. If you were to assume that the majority of new gen console owners are upgrading from last gen so, Wii-WiiU, PS3-PS4 & 360-XB1, then I would say that Wii U owners have had the best transistion, the graphical leap from Wii-Wii U is far greater than from PS3-PS4 or 360-XB1 and the gamepad, whether you love it or hate it does offer a lot more options.

Techi Help Please I've started experience problems online with Ghosts so I'm in looking to go down the Wii Lan Adaptor route. I have seen online that because the Wii has last gen USB that this option is actually worse than wireless. Any help or suggestions.

But he has had one good season in Spain and that's no guarantee of being any good in the Premier League. Lukaku for his faults has proved he can score consistently in this league and he will only get better.

I hope Chelsea saw enough of Costa to realise he is not worth buying, He did bugger all in the two matches. There are very few players available at the highest level, possibly Cavani, but really think we should give Lukaku a crack next season. Another massive weekend in the Prem coming up.

Here's a fact. Nintendo sell more hardware than anybody else hands down. You can't just ignore their handheld division, without Windows Microsoft would be in a much worse position with brand Xbox. PS3 3 sales were half of PS2. This is a classic example of the way Nintendo get's trashed on here. We only look at the negatives for Nintendo and the positives for Sony and Microsoft.

The thing with Mario Kart 8 voice chat, we all want it, we all know it's not going to happen. As much as I am gutted about no voice chat, in my heart of hearts I think I've come to realise that it probably would not work. Forget the swearing for a moment and just imagine 12 people all talking at the the same time "who shot me" "i'm gonna get you" etc it would just be noise.

And now Everton play Man City knowing that realistically 4th place is gone and if they win or draw they hand the title back to Liverpool. This season is like a Hollywood blockbuster with all the twists and turns.

Managers live and die by their results alone, I don't recall you berating Rodgers when Liverpool beat Norwich by a lucky deflection or Man City when the ref missed a blatant handball by Skrtle. As a manager you can only set a team up with tactics, dodgy refs & players mistakes are beyond your control. Mourinho sent out a team to not concede and nick a goal... job done. I will feel gutted for Gerrard if is he has just lost his last chance of a league title, he deserves to complete his set of trophies. you can't see City slipping up again. Should be a cracking final day.

cheating in single player mode is fair enough, but multiplayer is not on if you're gaining an unfair advantage over other players. Having said that I do recall using a cheat code on NBA Jam on the SNES that meant if i pressed the tackle button my opponent would drop the ball wherever he was on the court, I only did it for one or two games as I was actually laughing out loud as my mate went into meltdown. When I told him what i had done you would have thought I'd slept with his girlfriend. Happy Days

I don't get it at all. Even if I was buying a console in anticipation, I would still pick up something to play, I would just get carried away in the moment. I've always bought 2-3 games with the purchase of a console and assumed that everybody would do similar, but to not buy any game is wrong. Does Knack come bundled with the PS4? That would make a bit more sense.
