1. Animal Crossing: WW. It had` me lost in it for months on end, looking after my town and visiting others. Enjoyed it greatly. ToS would take this spot - I don't know if I got in 05 or 06 though :P 2. Mario Kart DS. First console online exeprience - simply brilliant, even though the game had its flaws. 3. I'll say Wii Sports, because it's the only game to get my entire family involved and having a crackingly good time. Honorable mentions go to Metroid Prime Hunters, which unfortunately was killed for me via the hype machine, but the hype itself was muchly enjoyable!..And Phoenix Wright, which still has some of my favourite characters in it. Hype list: 1. Zelda:TP [Xmas day ] 2. SSBB 3. Half Life Episode 2 - I cannot wait for the next chapter, but mainly Portal and TF2!

Here was the result: It's still got a little bit of the straight left in it. I don't use any gels/wax/cream in my hair in case you're wondering.

Works fine. Shame that you have to turn the console off at the console itself instead of via the remote though, or at least home button compatibility.

Went into Gamestation today and they had them out on the shelves. Guess the GAME Rep was talking out of his backside.

I don't think the idea has been fully implemented yet - all we know is that you'll be able to buy Wii Points with your stars!

What's peoples' opinion on this game? Was it worth the extra cash from the standard Wiimote cost? Is it what you expected? Personally, I think half of the games are worthwhile It was worth the money, but I wouldn't get it without another Wiimote. Game wise, Fishing, Shooting Gallery, Tanks, Charge! and Table Tennis are the best ones. Pose Mii is boring, Find Mii gets repetative, and billiards is starting to grow on me. Laser Hockey is good - it's a challenge against the CPU though :P And I'm rather happy - I got a Platinum medal in fishing earlier! Done the silver medal challenge too...Gotta grab some golds/Platinums :P [is there another one of these? Looked back two pages and couldn't find one - sorry if I missed it!]

I really want to laugh, but I can see you're serious. There is no way to play as any character other than Link in OOT - in fact, there really aren't any cheats for the game at all.

Haha, reading back through this thread was fun, back before anyone had a Wii...hehehe.

Still, it's no excuse. They could put some effort in. I'm certainly not one to care for graphics power - but this is poor. I'd be happy to see that on my DS...maybe.

Me and my Mum played baseball yesterday. She got an 'Out of the Park', which kinda put me to shame. She beat me by 1 point in the end In my last post I posted about how golf was crap. I've changed my mind...to a certain degree. I thought it was just a power gauge game, when in fact you DO aim the ball, choose your club, check wind etc etc. The only hard part is putting - I find putting the small distances [under 5m] very unresponsive on the Wiimote's behalf. It doesn't detect a small enough swing.

That black one looks awesome. Also, I wouldn't be surprised to see some LED Light mods coming out soon, if you felt like having a red or green disk drive light etc. That'd be cool :P

Exactly! For example, the past 2 nights I've gone downstairs at 2am to get myself a drink, only to see my living room lit up bright blue. I end up spending 30 minutes playing Wii Play, or creating a Mii or 2 after checking my message! Love the blue light. Also, seeing as this causes a big problem for some people, I wouldn't be surprised to see a system update that keeps the light on in the Console Settings.

It'll hardly be your 'Worst Christmas Ever'. As long as you're getting one it'll be fine. Trust me.

I popped in to my local GAME Store today, and asked about componant cables for the Wii. Turns out they aren't expecting an order until January 12th/14th - this was in their stockbook. Is it safe to assume this is a store thing, a chain-wide factor something that'll cover GB/EU as a whole? Interestingly enough on another note, they had standalone Wiimotes in.
