I am. I wanted just so much more from a new Animal Crossing. I can't think any other Nintendo franchise which has evolved as little as AC. Its such a shame.

Molyneux wants to bring together core and casual
david.dakota replied to darkjak's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Hey, Peter, why not go the whole hog and deny people their tastes. Make nothing but one genre, and we all like it, or find a new hobby. -
forget specs for a moment, how could any console completely negate load times, while remaining disk media? Thats what Nintendo need to concentrate on- there load times are killing me!

My understanding is the game switches to first person for the shooty bits. Third person for rescues, escaping raging torrents, then there's driving bits. There seems a lot of variety in it.

Why do i love Electroplankton, but hate Wii Music?

Still no reviews... I'm not going to cancel my preorder though.

This game has absolutely no appeal to me. Its nothing but mindless waggle- the very fact you can achieve something by 'hanging the remote from a tree and letting the wind play it' is a complete insult. I actually though Casamassina was rather generous in his review. This needs to bomb big time.

Yeah, actually, what exactly is the problem with on-rails? Its just another type of gameplay format.

I'd have at least prefered one 'A' List Star, but as long as these chaps do whats required, and do it well, its another notch on the Gaming Bed Post for HVS.

I'd like to see an Eternal Darkness port but with a revised, more intuitive menu system for magick. Pressing minus could bring up the Runes, point and click to cast Magick. Some more Wii inspired sanity effects would be nice too. If any game deserves a second chance, its Silicon Knights masterpiece.

Your 5 Reasons why the Wii is great
david.dakota replied to Falcon_BlizZACK's topic in Nintendo Gaming
When sending my Wii back for a grinding disk drive, i was speaking to the customer service chap and mentioned a few issues- loud fan being one of them. I even commented thats its far louder than my old Gamecube "yeah, he said, we'll fix that". My Wii is now magically quiet. -
Don't shoot the messenger. Matt and Mark are certainly more connected to NOA execs than i am, so when they say something its worth discussing. Personally, i'm hyped. I like the premise, i like the tone, i like the game. My opinion is, given the premise of the game, it'd be a crying shame if there was dodgy audio- nothing short of PL2.

According to IGNs podcast, the reason that Disaster ain't coming to the US is down to Reggie's belief that the game has terrible audio. A game like Disaster needs great audio. If its cheesy dialogue, fine but atmospheric music and sound should be a priority when a volcano is blowing its top.

I've had issues with the family name for years, the vast majority of my generation are drugged up wastes of life, thieves and joyriders, i was getting really peeved by constant "your related to so-and-so" and then hearing about their latest 'escapades'. The icing on the cake came two years back when our gran passed away, and within 3 hours the family were rooting through the house looking for their share. All the chaos and sensitivity of an Tunisian market. So, i'd just had enough. Our daughter was on the way, and i really didn't want her to be part of that car crash of an extended family.

Eagle eye. I legally changed my surname a couple of years back, i assumed i could never change it on the forums, but apparently an admin can do it.

Don't Sony use Codestorm too? I'm sure they used to, at least. Do MS use someone else?

No such deal exists.

I'm interested. Some of the geometry in the landscapes looks great, the atmosphere is top drawer. Hopefully, they nail the controls and were onto a unique winner

Don't understand. I'd have personally Ubisoft published the original in Europe- we'd have then recieved a full and gory version. Its good to hear two versions will be released here. Hopefully, we'll also see a gore-fest rerelease of NMH too.
