Thats a reference to the Link-up stuff in Wind Waker. When you linked the Cube and GBA, you'd be greated with a map of your location and a Tingle icon on the GBA screen, and on the Cube a 2D tingle head floating around, controlled via the GBA. A simple button press would cause this Tingle Head Icon to explode. It was really, really underwhelming.

I've not been in my local GAME for ages, but i recall the girls are reminiscent of Overkills mutants (thats the Shrewsbury store, should they wish to stone me as i next walk past, or bribe me with free games).
-
i'd like some amazing DS link up though- items selected on the fly with the touch screen, and the map on the top. Clean that HUD up. Alternatively, turn Tingle in to an exploding disembodied head. Everyones a winner.

Nice one. I think i'm going to opt for a couple of hand cannons, simply to look bad ass. The calibration does remove the cursor, right? And does it work properly (assuming you've tried it). Is the game in Prologic 2? The two player slow down sounds worrying though. Thankfully, Mrs D has made it very clear she'll be avoiding playing. But does this also occure in Dual Wield? Yeah, i like the idea of that, with each player perhaps taking different routes through the levels- meetin up at key points (save your buddy, bosses, etc).

I don't know about shooting zombies; my postie is gonna get a bullet before too long. Today, she delivered a bank statement and a letter from the RSPB offering me a free ladybird box if i subscribe for 15 months (three of which are actually free too).Neither of these have satisfied my need for hardcore violence. *disclaimer for the poor Police Constable trawling the internet for crimes. I wouldn't really shoot my postie- i don't have a gun.

As in on the message board?
-
really? Were they not zombies in Resident Evil, or are capcom disrespectful bandits
-
has anyone purchased the official hand cannons? Verdict? I'm tempted to splash out. Is the calibration option any good?

Nintendo Official Magazine Info Emargo until 14th February?
david.dakota replied to Mr_Master_X2's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I hear the next gift is an empty toilet roll tube. Actually, thats a complete lie, the staff probably wipe using pages from their own magazine. I've not read ONM for years, its desperately childish, their attitude is so immature (and that from a guy who made a toilet joke) and quite frankly an embarrassing read. Its about time that official license is revoked. -

A free key ring, quite obviously. -
Even if our useless postie delivers it today, i.ll have to wait 'til the little one's in bed- and fast asleep. Its also her third birthday, so she'll probably still be bouncing around at 10pm despite our best efforts...

Finish Pikmin. Play House Of The Dead until my eyes and hands bleed (and attract zombies). Play through Chrono Trigger. Buy Deadly Creatures.

When, in my younger days, i was questioned about why Mario could jump so high, i explained everything by creating 'the laws of the mushroom kingdom'.

but there are loads of publishers waiting the sales figures of the Dark Four- Deadly Creatures, The Conduit, and MadWorld. Perhaps make or break is a little extreme, but perhaps future projects will be made or broken in the next few months.

How do Sega feel about the Wii install base- Are they confident mature titles will sell or are their upcoming titles more experiments? Also, what was the process of working with Headstrong Games on a previously Japanese developed franchise? Who approached who? What made Sega choose Headstrong? How did the relationship pan out?

What is this shit you've just spoken?

I'm kind of with Zechs. I really hope, desperately hope it hits amazing figures of 4, 5, 8 million. However, similar products (Red Steel, Metroid Prime 3) have earned less than 1.5 million units sold. In The Conduits favour, its getting marketed, its hyped, its launching into a bigger Wii install base, so who knows. Lets face it though, this Spring is make or break for the Wii's core audience.

Hmm. Wasn't there talk of more Conduit news, specifically multiplayer talk, in the next week or so. Matt Cassamassina has also suggested talk on Dead Space Wii could be forthcoming. -
Is the collector's edition a pre- order special? I've still not got round to pre-ordering...

Its easy publicity to slate Wii. This chap'll be running down the road with Fallout 3 tattooed on his genitals next.

Stupid. For eons we've been pointing a wide variety of items at a wider variety targets- deer, mammoths, John F Kennedy- with reasonably good accuracy. And all of a sudden games journalists have lost the ability to point? What shit are you on, journo's? Pointing is a natural thing to do, we point to identify a far off thing, we point our fingers in a gun shape as kids, we can point and track a bird, so why can't pointing make the transition to gaming? Seems a perfectly natural thought to me, and given our previous successes at pointing, we should be rather good at it. But games journalists think not? Crazy fooks. Who are these people? Do they stab themselves in the face when eating? Throw their coffee in their pants? Do they piss up the bathroom wall, or shove their hand up their anus when wiping? Are their hands that ill-coordinated? Give me - and i'm sure HVS would agree - some real critisism. IR is not responsive, motion controls broken, game is crap... Telling me you're unable to hold your hand steady is not a useful critique of the game (far too much of the five finger shuffle, i guess). These reviewers ultimately hold some power over the success of the game, and i'd have to see this game recieve unwarranted negative reviews simply because the reviewer has a w@nkers twitch.

despite the fact i know of no Wii's in my street, that'd be rather cool. Can't think of what use it'd be, but still.
