Prison Break I would say yes, as long as you caught it early in a series to get the gist of the story. As for lost, i would buy the early series on DVD first, as the story is very complicated. Season 5 of lost starts at the end of the month.

I have been buying a couple of Blu-Rays a month since I got the PS3. I have built up a decent collection now. Just got to wait now for seasons 1-3 of Lost and seasons 1 and 2 of Prison Break.

You probably would own me, the same as I would own you on the PS3/360 version. Most Wii FPS games are more accurate and speedy with a Wiimote compared to dual analogue. But not this game. I am much more precise with the sixaxis than a Wiimote in WaW. Whether that is just me or not i do not know. Its still a fantastic game, we should get a game together with a few others. Its just a shame there is no Search & Destroy, because that is the best game mode ever.

The Wii is a perfect 'second' console. In an ideal world, the PS360 would be capable of everything the Wii can do, but its not. So most gamers have a HD console, then the Wii as an added 'extra'. When I want to have a serious gaming experience, I play my PS3, pop in CoD4, see who is online, invite some friends to my game and chat using my wireless headset. Although I love that, I don't want that all the time, sometimes I just want to relax on my sofa, gather a couple of family members, and have a laugh on Mario Kart. So what does the Wii need next? IMO, nothing. Just expand and refine what it does now.

Yep, along with Street Fighter IV and Resident Evil 5. Late Feb/early March has a few potentially fantastic games being released.

Most FPS games have the option to adjust the aiming sensitivity, but I have only played 3 FPS on the PS3 that actually allows you to adjust the turning speed, (The CoD's and Unreal Tournament 3). Along with the bullet/Death thing, its a gamebreaker for me in a FPS. After watching a few videos on You Tube, the turning speed looks slow, similar to Far Cry. Where if you push the left analogue stick to turn say, 180 degrees, the character will start to turn slowly, then speed up. Its annoying (my opinion of course). I just hope there is an option to turn up the speed, otherwise it will probably just be a single player experience for me.

A quick couple of questions for those who have played the beta: Roughly how many bullets does it take to kill someone? And can you adjust the turning speed?

Just bought this game off ebay with the WiiSpeak. Can't wait to play it. My Wii has been getting kind of neglected the last couple of months. This game should change that. In fact, gonna go to Meadowhall tomorrow (Its Payday!!) and treat myself to some Wii games. Boom Blox, WarioLand and de Blob should do it.: peace:

I'm not getting owned I am as good as anybody I have met online so far. I suppose I was saying (in a roundabout sort of way) that I prefer the dual analogue sticks to the WiiMote in this game.

I picked this up a couple of days ago, I have it on the PS3 and really enjoy it. So thought I would see what it is like with the Wii controls. I honestly thought this would be great with the WiiMote/Nunchuck combo.......its not. I don't like it. I cannot get anywhere near the same amount of control as I can on the sixxaxis. Not just the turning speed, but the way you have to move your hand down the Wii remote to get to the D pad, its clumsy. Its ok in single player, because the AI is shit. But multiplayer is when it really gets on my tits. Oh well, just to cheer me up, I bought World of Goo. Now that is a fantastic game.

No official release date yet, however, Play.com have it listed as 30/1/09. I was tempted to import it, then just sell it on ebay for the PAL release. Thanks mate, would the WiiSpeak be a viable option to be used for voice chat in this type of game? God I am so out of the loop with the Wii at the moment!!

I appologise if this has already been answered in one of the many pages of this thread. But I hear this game is using WiiSpeak, does this mean there will be a Wii Headset coming along for this game?

3. HD Gaming. I bought the PS3 this year, and switching it on for the first time. To be treated to the XMB and then playing Uncharted Drake's Fortune in all its High Def goodness, truly blew me away. 2. Online Multiplayer Nothing beats playing with your mates on the sofa, but I have been doing that since the eighties. The realisation that I could play with friends, who were on a different sofa, quite possibly thousands of miles away, will never cease to amaze me. 1. Family Games There is nothing quite like playing Mario Kart with my five year old Daughter, I get so much pleasure from Wii gaming with her. I used to let her win on Brawl, but now I honestly struggle to come out on top. She can even play the Drums and Guitar on Rock Band now.

Go into the Jap store, then look for the 'n' logo out of the namco logo, there should be a bit of english text in the decription that says 'Playstation Home'. Just download that mate.
