Nah you wouldn't have to play the first Resistance games. They're an acquired taste, and admittedly mostly average, but they're still damned interesting and generally enjoyable. You have to play Uncharted 2 though. Resistance 3.

The Last Guardian hopefully. If I wasn't game-fatigued, this year would've had me on my toes. As it is, the only certainties here are Uncharted 3 and Resistance 3. That's Resistance 3

The game was riddled with those stat issues, it just appears it's much more frequent at the moment. And yeah MadDog, that be the Abakan, it's very effective, in fact it may as well be a fully automatic because you just have to spam r1 and it'll probably end up in a kill, though it was nerfed slightly, now it's not utterly rape at close range, though before it was a bit of a joke. Still, it's fun trying out all the guns, very glad I came across the F2000. The patches have actually kept the game a bit fresher because everything swaps around a bit. I don't find myself using the PP2000 anymore though, DICE ruined it. Blog!

The PS3 demo really didn't impress me much. Just found it rather bland, and whilst you can tell there's a lot of effort behind the cinematics, the lip syncing feels darn awkward for the most part.

And cut down your Uncharted intake.

Just played the demo, must say I liked what I played. Good atmosphere, and if I'm not mistaken the game does well to keep you from loitering too much as the odd enemy will spawn behind you if you don't progress quickly. Shooting is very solid and most agreeable.

The problem is that games use the same interactions, button layouts and objectives as each other, and it's tremendously hard to to totally draw a different skin. We're still predominantly using the left stick to move and the right stick to change the camera, which only leaves certain possibilities. The only difference with this generation is that whilst your combining these, now when you tap circle, you won't do an attack but will instead stick really tight against a nearby surface.

The dubbing of Genesis over the Assassin's Creed trailer/advert was weirdly awesome. They make some good soundz.

I almost forgot how much I liked your Tag/Signature Rez, it goes under-appreciated. I hope it remains forever-green.
