What DLC was free for Resistance 2? None. There hasn't been any, only a patch. No new maps or anything has been added since release.

I don't want to spend money on a HDD that could buy me 2 games. I think with clever usage I won't have to upgrade.

Well that is shit if they release it shortly after K2 comes out. OK I guess the game went gold and they can't work on it if it is in production and they want to get the game out in the shops, but cmon. That is blatant cash in. Why should we have to pay for modes and weapons? This should all be available to everyone, there shouldn't be some superior consumers that can afford to waste money on this stuff. Having said that if it does turn out to be free that would be awesome, especially the new weapons part. The more weapons the better imo (up to a certain level) it keeps it fresh and makes your play style more personal. If it came out 5 months down the line then yes.

I don't actually have a PSP, it's just that I have played it. Don't know whether I want to get a PSP. The basic model is pretty cheap at £40, seeing as they originally retailed at £180. It has some great arcadey games and ports which is fine by me but the new stuff is generally of lesser quality. Not all of it though.

Isn't it meant to be the best PSP game out there? I played the first level and thought it was average but I guess I hadn't got to grips with the controls and being the first level it probably wasn't the best portion of the game to judge it on.

What about it? I was just about to make a thread about the direction that videogames are going in. But then I got confused and knew that if I posted it people wouldn't understand me properly. Here was what I was going to put: 'This year we will see the release of many videogame sequels of which almost all of them will have only minor changes to the way we play them. I don't want to have to buy games in which I know what to expect from them before I play them. I want something new. For me I think there needs to be a new genre or style of videogaming which retains the challenge of todays videogames but without it having to be based on the same controls as all the conventional games we have today. FPS is getting boring because in essence the controls are always the same - we need a different way of using the same buttons and sticks. So far the games are all very clear similar so the way we manipulate the games is becoming samey, and it doesn't help that the action on screen has barely changed either. I don't think the Wii has solved this problem either, because we still see games that are traditional in controls and appearance. For example could we use the Playstations analogues to not move a character or camera but instead use them for morphing a 3D world and using buttons to use specific actions which change this. Ok this is vague but it is different from the cystal clear X IS GO AND R1 FIRES THE GUN etc ' As I was writing I got mixed up with the topics and ideas I had so I havent made them into a thread but wandered if anyone could understand any of that. Bare in mind that I am still going to get Killzone etc but I'd say after another year or so of this there will need to be something other than the current game style.

Personally I didn't think the length affected the film. In the new King Kong it did because they had loads of filler and multiple scenes weren't necessary, but in Dark Knight I thought each scene was worthy of a place in the film. But yeah, I wasn't blown away. I was ready and waiting for the awesomeness and I wanted to like it more but it slightly underachieved.

Well I think it was slightly overrated. I think I wanted more of something but I don't know what. I thought the Joker was going to be cooler, and to be fair he was good, but something was definetly missing. I think other films in the genre usually have 1 outstanding stunt that shines above the rest whereas this just had a collection of very decent ones. Not sure if that is it though.

Haha I was joking lol. It's one of my favourite films. The only thing is that I may have liked a bit more action/speed chases but maybe I just didn't want the film to end? Anyway great film.

I also just watched The Dark Night for the second time on blu-ray. Poor film. Overrated: 2/10

Erm sorta but it has slightly more depth than that and it is pretty funny in places. For me a must-watch but I understand why it wouldn't be for others. -
Resistance 2 Campaign: Was enjoyable, had cool looking stuff in it but the bosses were pretty much just glamour. However if you look past that then it was fun. Online is great.

I don't really want it... I don't see the appeal. I get it's something that you have to play but I don't want to waste 7 quid on something that might not even be to my tastes. Can't conceive what makes using motions to control a flower in a well animated field a great game.

Well I think the they are all attractive in different ways. Out of all of them I would say The shy twin was the best, then Effy and then the normal twin. I can see what you mean but Effy is still very nice. Helps that she always dresses like a slut. Effy is the brunette that has the parents that split up. -

Playing on a 21" box TV is so bad after coming off the 42" plasma beast. I suddenly have the urge to play Metroid Prime GC on there. Best game ever. What's Flower like Daft, I see you have been playing it?
