Chainsaw and Axe men would be so much more daunting to face were it for you having to face them alone. As it is you know that they might be after someone else which decreases scare factor.

Put this back in the PS3 after a couple of months without playing and had a bit of fun wondering. Came across Drowned Devil's Crossing which freaked me a bit. Pretty cool effect.

I killed him twice but can't remember picking up anything off him. Although if you kill the guy that shouts in the speaker from the cutscene then you get grenades.

For the axe guy you should do this: Get Sheva to concentrate on picking off the africans, then use the shotgun of Chris and get the axe guy in the head. He should bend down after every 2 or 3 shots, which is when Chris and Sheva should run up to him and both unleash their melees. Do this 4/5/6 times and he should go down.

I'd actually love it if Villa won. Noone has even thought about considering them yet they're in a great position. Don't think it's gonna happen though.

The one you start off with is the ISA one right? If so I think the other one is better. Just seemed easier to pick people off. The other weapon that the Helghast has in the warehouse was the best though.

I swear the Helghast one was more accurate? I managed to kill people more easily with the H assault rifle, and when firing the ISA one the bullets went all over the place after the initial shot.

They gave Fear 2 8/10 and I can tell from the demo that Killzone is much better. Pretty much every reviewer has rated Killzone 2 higher anyway.

I thought it was a PS2 game so if true it won't work unless you have a 60GB PS3. Yeah above is true, I also noticed how the colleague that helps you onto a ledge says something different every time. Don't know why they've done that but maybe there's multiple parts where you have to pull people up etc.

I think the way I will do it is by using standard controls for the campaign, which I'll get away with using R3 to aim and then change to Alt 2 for online because there is no cover and less use of L2 button.

Alt 2 would be the best choice if you could map cover to x or toggle it. As it is you have to use L1 & L2 simultaneously and that means you have to change your grip or get arthritis.

If you fail a test that many times you should not be allowed to drive. Simple as.

Can you tell her to leave you to do the job yourself because this is meant to be a survival horror game?

^ Yeah that was my only problem really. Thinking of using standard controls but holding R3 to zoom isn't great and if it's on toggle it doesn't feel right. Might have to get used to it.

^ Yeah I agree with you, the game will still be fantastic. Everyone has judged the demo against the full RE4 experience and adventure which isn't fair.

OK I've played the demo now and I really enjoyed it, thought it was fantastic. Graphics are superb. I have a preference for controls on Alternative 2, however, they need to add an option to toggle cover because it is awquard aiming with L1 whilst using L2. I liked holding L1 to aim because it is quicker than the click you get from R3 and also has become natural after Resistance 2. Very glad I have my preorder in, the game is going to be insane.
