I haven't been killed by C4 I don't think, then again I don't know what the icon looks like when it happens.

Yeah I completed the campaign again and some parts are good, but after beating it on hard it does drag in parts, especially because there are no vehicle sections. In places they throw you into trouble and there isn't much chance of doing something about it, until you die. Ah well, still a brilliant FPS. Ahem, Killzone 2. What does everyone aspire to do in terms of online? Is it going to be a week or so job or more of a game you keep going back to? I think I'll be playing for quite a while, mixing up the classes etc. It has great longevity, and if they add some more DLC that will be awesome. New maps and weapons please.

If I didn't have a PS3 I wouldn't give a crap about blu-ray, but seeing as I do, I think they're great.

So what rank are you in Resistance now? Got all the berserks yet?

That was nice, didn't play for that long, just a half-hour job. In that time I sneaked in 2 ribbons for 10x sniper kill and 2 ribbons for disguise kill, so my plan of unlocking a better scope for the sniper and being able to lay C4 is underway. After getting C4 I will try and unlock it for the scout. Then I will rule!

Just as well Daft, I would've creamed you even more than yesterday :wink: Will be interesting if Guerilla respond to the control criticisms, usually developers are pretty stubborn. Maybe this'll get Aimless and MatTheHat to stop whining.

Caris, the scout class is the last rank, which is the General rank. With that you unlock the cloak ability and the sniper. Once you cloak so many times you can spot and mark (or something like that) the enemies which broadcasts the position of them to everyone's map. Hope that's cleared things up.

Yeah, it's great fun playing and I thought I'd ranked up really quickly but seeing the playtime - I'd say it's about right. Resistance 2 takes the piss on levelling up though, I'm not sure if I'll try and complete the final 2 ranks. But yeah this game is in a different league when it comes to visuals and action. How it handles everything online I don't know. I can see that I may just turn into a sniper guy that lays down C4 every now and then. I don't care if it isn't percieved that highly, but it is damn fun knowing that you've pissed someone off without them knowing about it - When I took out Cooky he didn't have a hope in hells chance, I could only barely make out the blueness of his ISA helmet lol. It surprised me just as much as him that the bullet macheted its way through his midriff.

I managed to rank to Scout, which isn't that great because there is barely any scope. I knew you had to use the d-pad to zoom in but haven't got 10 kills with it yet. I can't believe how much I've played in such a short amount of time. Never been so hooked on a game.

I found the latest episode of skins quite emotional, it really dragged it out of me watching.

^ Yeah I'll add you, I think we've both killed each other without noticing it as well. Saboteur is awesome. The poweful weapon you get that features in the campaign early on is great.

One of my most epic online games there. Me and Choze got loads of kills, Choze moreso, but anyway, it came to the Search and Retrieve, I managed to do one, then Choze did one, and then for the third Choze had it, I saw him waiting for the oppurtune moment to make a break for it, so I followed him down the home straight and, no lie, shot 2 rockets and killed 4 people and he managed to deliver it! Lol it was awesome. The game was a bit one-sided but still.

This game is now incredible online, there is now huge variety of classes in teams, explosions everywhere. I'm currently at the assualt class, with the grenade launcher and M80 missile launcher. My favourite class is the tactician, although so far I haven't had much success with the air support. Anyway, the games have been brilliant. The graphics on the canal level where everything was going crazy was phenominal. Is this stuff possible on the 360?

Yeah longer games needed, I've only been able to get one turret ribbon.

Well there's one 'perk' which gives you more points for a kill during body-count. And yeah I'm not great at objectives either, but killing is good enough really.
