Again, I meant the elite campaign legend for Wipeout, I really don't care about the Resistance platinum that much. To me, it's about the appeal of the trophy rather than the difficulty. Tbh the elite campaign trophy on Wipeout is deserved of a platinum it is so hard. With Resistance pretty much anyone can do it.

They should make it harder, make the planets bigger with only a couple of them being small. Multiple paths in one world like Sunshine for some levels. Basically I want more of the proper platform levels like you got in 64 and the non-fludd sunshine.

The save thing wasn't for Resistance, it was for Wipeout that I wanted the gold on. Resistance platinum should be relatively easy now but I don't care about it that much, it's the elite campaign legend trophy i want. If I got that I'd be happy if I didn't get any other trophies tbh.

That's shit. I paid £12 for my download. Still, it was a big release back then and now the online mode is almost non-existent. -
Well as there was that article the other month, gradually the resources needed to produce the PS3 cost less, so they can reduce the retail price.

What?! It's the worst error that's ever been made in an online FPS game... I'm sorry but I've used it a few times in one match and it got me rediculously high in 1st place because I was picking people off that I didn't really realise were there. I'd say I'm fairly good but its so exploitable I can't believe you're trying to dumb it down. Well I can but....

There is no defending that glitch Choze, that is awful. It is actually really powerful and no doubt loads of people have killed me by using it. Just tried it and for mid-long range it is really effective, couldn't believe it. I won't be using it but christ whoever is responsible for that slipping through needs to be fired.

Ah right. So is there any way to get the music from here onto the iPod or is there different programs I need to use for that? I don't want to pay 79p for a song anymore seeing as everyone else is getting their stuff for zilch.

No chance for me because I haven't really played it online this week. I'm actually doubting whether I want to play it much more unless there are more clan matches.

Well there's a 70% save file which may have the last section unlocked, but it won't have the golds on it, at least not in elite difficulty, so would that work? I may just leave Resistance behind if/when I get the platinum. Great game yes but if I suck at it now then there is no point because I'll just be kicking myself that I'm not good at it anymore.

I've realised that older games need to be played every now and again for you to remain good at them. The past couple of days I've been gutted with my poor abilities on games that I used to be awesome at. Here was what happened with me and Resistance Then there is Wipeout, which I just downloaded again, and I completely failed at it. I forgot how fast the game was and I was completely thrown in the deep-end. I could not play it at all. Its saddening. There's this one trophy out of all the games I own which I actually really wanted to have achieved, which is the elite campaign trophy. It's for getting golds on every event in the campaign on elite difficulty. I managed to get to section 8 out of 8 with golds on elite with all tracks and then my data corrupted. After that I didn't really play the game and yet I really want that trophy because it really shows that you have skill and determination. Yet now I can't get it. If I downloaded save-data off the net and completed the last section on elite would it remember that I had done the previous events and award me the trophy? I already have the normal campaign trophy but just wondered. If I don't get back into either of these games I won't be playing them online.

Choze you can get it in Cex for a fiver, so there shouldn't be any problems picking it up for around that.

Completed the campaign a few hours ago. Was alright but there wasn't any real 'wow' moment. The last part was a bitch, playing on hard difficulty I can't imagine how tricky that would be on elite. Still, the later levels were much better than the starting few which were so mundane. Online shits all over it.

I played on Resistance 2 yesterday and I turned into a complete novice again. My skills just vanished and I was utter crap - I don't think I realised how good I was before... I was just plain shite. The feel of the game was totally different, the controls were alien and I forgot all of the skills and knowhow. I died a little bit inside when I was at the bottom of the leaderboards.

It's still good on the PSP despite what reviews say, the controls are fair enough and it looks pretty much identical. At a fiver you can't complain. And yeah the catch phrases were awesome, as well as the track by the Offspring - All I want 'YA YA YA YA YA!!!' And yeah it would probably be better on Wii but since I sold mine I'd rather have it on PS3.

Does that not tell you something about Nintendo and the new generation though? For me personally it has gone downhill, any maybe many more people share the same view compared to last gen where I was anti anything not Nintendo. For the moment I understand that there are still many people here that will swear by Nintendo because they genuinely like the games.
