  1. Wish I could give the multiplayer another bash right naw, not that I didn't play it a ton at the time. Unch 4 though.... sheeeeit, that's gonna be insane.
  2. 'Stupid old cow' - a wee bit excessive considering there probably wasn't any malice or conscious thought process involved. And it wasn't solely her fault.
  3. @Wii Ferguson himself called Fletcher a 'big-game player' and for good reason. United won a smattering of trophies and advanced to late stages of tournaments when they didn't have the most talented players in the world. Of course they had a few stars, but the results were predominantly due to incredible team cohesion and sheer graft, namely from players like Fletcher who was an absolute rock in the middle with a great engine and pretty solid distribution to boot. Against the strongest sides we'd pack the midfield and he'd be the one hunting everything down. If you don't think he's of any merit then you honestly can't have anything to say about football - Ferguson's results speak for themselves and so do the performances. Fletcher isn't going to set the world on fire, but that's not what he's there for. He does his job extremely well. You couldn't refute my comment about the team sheet and you can only argue in emoticons. Have you ever written anything worthwhile? I'd honestly love to see you try. Treat me, bitch!
  4. I'd still say Fletcher can do a good job in the big games but yeah, pretty much agree.
  5. Well, to quote big ol' Rafa, 'let's talk about facts', shall we? The team we fielded against Sunderland: 01 de Gea 25 A Valencia 18 Young 42 Blackett 12 Smalling 04 Jones 24 Fletcher 23 Cleverley 08 Mata 20 van Persie 10 Rooney The team we fielded against MK Dons: 01 de Gea 36 Vermijl 41 James 28 Anderson 06 Evans 38 Keane 37 Janko 26 Kagawa 14 Hernández 19 Welbeck 22 Powell /// So it WAS just de Gea from the starting selection at the weekend. Players like Evans might have been first choice for brief periods in the past, but not this season. We don't have Carrick, Herrera, Shaw or Rafael at the moment either, all of whom are key for us. I'm not suggesting we're in a good state right now because it is pretty dire, but I still think we can turn things around and compete for a place in the CL. It'll be mightily difficult, certainly, but there's reason for hope. 4-3-3 with Di Maria and we could start to resemble a team capable of panache. Your parochial views are really, really boring by the way, Wii. Raise your game.
  6. At a glance de Gea is the only regular in this team. That said, the passing is dreadful. Our squad is laughable compared to the likes of City although to be fair we do have a few key injuries.
  7. Not sure how I feel about being reduced to a stand-in white guy like that. ...and people say us whites don't suffer from prejudice
  8. You don't look at the United wingers at the moment and think, 'shit, he looks dangerous'. Di Maria does. He has a great cross as well, Valencia and Young, nine times out of ten, can't cross the motherfucking ball. So many of our attacks last season consisted of getting it wide and playing a hopeful low ball into the box. It was excruciating to watch, pure conjecture in approach. Moyes always hammered away saying the opportunities were there, but they really fucking weren't. We fed off scraps, there was no incisive play. Di Maria is direct and has all the ability of the great wingers United have enjoyed in the past. We DO need him. Also lol @ Daz - about 90% of the passes of that goal were sideways to and fro at the back under no pressure, the actual penetration didn't happen until much later in the move, and even then one of those 'passes' was dubious because it came off a defender who made a lunging tackle and it happened to go to your man. Sure it was a decent move, but the only thing to write home about was the cross. Spurs had tons of space to work with before they finally ventured forward.
  9. You've done it again Goafer. I actually want to fuck that heron, it's so damn regal. Which would you rather: fuck that heron in public OR suck off ReZ and feed the cum penguin-style to your infant daughter? [cue ReZ gag about there being no drawback to either]
  10. Ray Hudson just went off on a wild one about how it's supposed to be the year of the horse according to the Chinese, and how the cat was proving to be bad luck to the Barcelona players until Messi broke the voodoo. Gotta love Ray. 2 great goals btw!
  11. A few ethnics tried to get involved but thankfully they left early, bless 'em.
  12. If the Di Maria deal materialises - YES. We need him. In the WC quarter-final he conceded possession something like 60 times in the match, and yet he was still making things happen and of course scored the winning goal. I like wingers who make thing happen and look forward to seeing him in a United shirt. We're still in need of a world class centre back and central midfielder though.
  13. Meet was gooooooooooood. Want to see that snap of Rumz poking his butt out whilst playing ninja. Another highlight - making Bard crack and opening up his dark animal side. He was sloshed in all fairness.
  14. HA! This would've been the worst Pop Fiction episode ever.
  15. I probably won't be sharing the same room with everybody at Equity Point because I booked separately, but just to let you guys know - my check-in tomorrow is from 14:00, and I'm pretty sure yours will be the same. Not sure if you'll be able to drop stuff off before then or not, but you can always try I suppose. I bought my train tickets a while ago and for some reason ordered one from Paddington to Kings Cross. Looking at the map, I now have no idea why I did that as Paddington is a much closer to Hyde. Kings Cross is closer to The Red Lion though, so it might come in handy if it does rain. See you chaps soon. Look out for me as I only have ReZ and Daft on Facebook and haven't really familiarized myself with anyone else, bar the iconic Dannyboy. I look like this: It does indeed look like I have a semi, which is fortunate because I will probably greet you with one.
  16. Pretty sure you can jump on them while they're on the fences in SMW. Someone plz verify.
  17. S'what I thought, but it has been out for ages and the sales can't be anything special so they may as well rekindle interest somehow.
