You like to be the controversial one, and fair enough if you think spiders have good in them, but they are complete tw*ts and scare millions of people in homes across the UK. I actually wouldn't go to Australia because of the bastardised 8 legged freaks you get over there. That film was god-awful but awesome at the same time.

I'd love if I had an anti-grav button where you could select something/an area that you wanted to free of gravity for a brief period. I'd wait for a grunt from a toilet and then press whilst recording sound from the event.

Nobody I know here likes that game :p But I will play you once I've got the system fixed.

I just love Wipeout, it's so rewarding when you get to know the track and your barrel rolling, twisting, u-turning, rocketing all seamlessly in a race with precision is just so fun. My favourite racing game out there. You guys should do more campaign medals, it gets you better at the game and it's so much more fun when you know the tracks.

Hahaha I like how you 'get' it every time I say stuff like that. Like your response when I said 'Yes Mike!' on psn. Good lad, but yeah if you're on and I'm on then I'd be happy to rag you hard on the racetrack.
-
Yeah but Mike you aren't important so I think tomorrow evening would be good. Anyone else? I'm on now if you lot are up for a game.

I thought tonight's episode was pretty poor, apart from Clarkson shouting 'Manwell!' there wasn't anything too great. That midget was a dickhead, I don't care if they gave him orders on what to do or whatever, he was just a nob.
-
Except it wasn't the same because the levels in 2 were just luck and gimmick fests.

I love eliminator and I love Wipeout so I'd like to put you guys in your place. I think an invite only match with people here somewhen.

Although predictable that was very very good. So simple too, although that guy is still a nonse.

SMB 2 was arguably so-so. They didn't actually improve much, if anything, but made the classic single player experience worse.

^ You've just taken that picture from Wipeout! And I think Pyxis should be given the 'local pessimist' title.

Anyone else start writing something in this thread that they thought made sense at that moment in time in their head but then realised they couldn't get it in an understandable text format? See watching these sorts of videos makes me full of questions that make me wonder if I'm a genius or if there's just many people out there that have these weird thought processes. Is it even possible to write them down? Gah I'm probably making no sense, but just a minor thing that came across my mind is how its stupid that we watch all these boring programmes about other peoples lives when we are just wasting time that could be spent achieving a big ambition. Of course we all may think that we could be doing something but in the end we sleep, forget about these topics and carry on doing meaningless things. Some people won't ever have the thinking power to come up with these questions, dumb blondes that don't realise there is more than just the planet Earth (and makeup) although maybe I'm just mad and I'm on my own. After watching videos such as these space documentary snippets I think 'why do I do things like playing tennis?' etc but it's because we have no choice. Most of us are born and we just wind up being moderately content with normal lives and we aren't expected to become an einstein or.... I've just completely forgotten my point, if there was one... Yeah Well I guess you could just say if you've had thought spasms like this before but then were too embarassed to show them to anyone, that would make me feel less lonely. Maybe only I'm understanding myself, but I don't know how you could understand the above if I lost my own trail of thought. I'm not drunk btw. And apologies for using the word 'think' so much. I've probably made a complete dick of myself and will read this back once I'm awake and realise what a dickwad I've been. I blame it on fatigue.

N-Europe is nearing 1 million posts I'm probably not the first to pick up on it but that's a lot! I've made my fair dent.

Last British Veteran of the WWI trenches dies age 111
dwarf replied to Gizmo's topic in General Chit Chat
His brain had probably turned to mush by the end but imagine all of the things that guy must've experienced. Maybe it'll be normal for us to live to that age as standards of living are on the up. Nobody knows about this stuff until the next generation of people dies and age averages are discovered. RIP Mr. Patch. -
There are going to be exciting times in the future in terms of space discovery and exploration. There's so much one can explore in a lifetime on earth, imagine what it'll be like when you can travel to civilisation on Mars. It's impossible to ever make something that can travel at the speed of light, and these things that have been discovered and millions of lightyears away - it's like we can have all this data and knowledge but do nothing to touch it or reach out. I'm making it my goal in life to travel around the world and see and have as much fun as possible, not sure how to set about it, but it must be done.

I don't see myself buying it, it's either this or Fat Princess and so far the latter is interesting me more.

I just played that Katamari thing, it's weird and I couldn't understand any of it, strange camera and controls, unless I'm mistaken there was only 2 types of camera angle. Managed to 'complete' both levels though. Hard to say whether I'd have enjoyed it if it was explained in english tbh.

If I hadn't played football before that video certainly wouldn't get me into it.

Tbh I was disappointed when I realised there's only 4 proper race tracks. Ok there's the reverse ones but they feel the same, because they pretty much are. I think it's lazy that they didn't adjust the solely zone/zone battle tracks for single race. Still, the 4 new tracks are pretty cool anyway. I'm glad they haven't made the elite AI difficult this time round, in the HD campaign they got so frustrating.

That was what I was going to say, sense at last.

I've never really enjoyed swimming, I can do it it's just I'd rather mess around in a pool rather than practicing various stokes. I was always scared in Primary School when we went swimming, there were little tests that put a lot of pressure on everyone and it took me out of my comfort zone. There was something chilling about the smell and atmosphere of the big pool that just made it unenjoyable when you knew you'd be tested, which went away when it became 'play time'.

It isn't as bad as the F2 accident, Massa is talking, get over it.
-
It is possible to edit the title. But sorry, can't help.

I think I've rebounded off the enjoyment barrier. It starts off where you're progressively getting better and enjoying it more, then once you're at your peak and you've played for an extensive time (mine is around 2 days worth ) then it gets gradually more boring. For me new maps don't freshen it up. As a fan you could say that new weapons and stuff like the nuke level keep the game original, but I dont find it actually does. Still, it's good for the odd bout, when your PS3 is working.
