Hopefully Tilke will do what his team have done with the Indian circuit and use input from the teams. That layout actually looks pretty good.

Based on what you've told us previously, a rep that actually gets some f***ing work done. Daily, even.

THQ fights back against pre-owned videogame sales.
gaggle64 replied to Pookiablo's topic in Other Consoles
How does anyone even find the time for 2-3 games a month? The last game I bought was Mass Effect 2, and MW2 before that. I could afford to buy more but I'm still suckling plenty of gaming goodness out of what I have cause I don't have the time to blow through everything. 2-3 games a month and I'd just be sitting there with piles of games I hadn't even opened. -

I'm actually OK with this. It makes sense to tie this to the multiplayer features they'll still be using resources to maintain, getting a fistful of pennies in return from pre-owned sales if the player chooses to use the service. If you don't like it, just don't buy the product. A product being too expensive isn't an excuse to steal it, it's an excuse to not buy it. -
What would you do if you woke up with your head sewn to the carpet?

Xpert 11 Season 13 (The Season of Hope and Change Reports)

Oh gawd finally a win. This season is not going well at all. Gonna be tough to claw my way out of this one. -
Personally I'm vaguely suspicious of the phrase "kind of". That tends to mean either nothing happened that a nun wouldn't be able to tolerate or things got freaky as shit.

Good to see Schumacher back in Dick Dastardly mode. Didn't get away with it, but still.

I occasionally get very curious reactions when I have to ask for ID during work. I asked for a woman who couldn't have possibly been older then about 20 (we're on the Under 25 rule, and they're pretty strict about it) for her ID while she was buying a paper and ciggies. She just stared at me for a few seconds and then walked out the store without saying anything as if in a trance. Without her paper. To some people it seems being asked for ID is the same thing as calling their mother a whore for no reason, they just don't seem to know to react. Apart from showing some ID of course.

Just make sure you don't vomit all over her. Trust me, I learned it the hard way.

I'm fairly happyish with what the Lib Dems have wrangled out of this - not a lot of really big cabinet roles and some key policy compromises, but with junior Lib Dem ministers on senior Cons like limpets, a referendum on AV, Energy & Environment and Big Vince left to lay the smack down on the banks I think some good stuff could come out of this. PMQs is going to look odd for a while though.

Man, I've come down with the worse cold, my bones feel like ice. I'm making surviving work my only goal for tomorrow. Thank Christ I've only got a four hour shift. Hopefully I'll be through the worst by tomorow morning anyway.

It probably looks like an awkward pose to us because David Cameron doesn't actually suffer from those human foibles known as "emotions". I don't hate Cameron, I don't even hate the fact he's PM, but there's no getting away from the fact he's like a passive-aggressive T-1000.

Mandelson? Jesus Christ no. He makes The Sith look like The Samaritans.

Conservatives have apparently panicked and put a referendum of Alternative Vote on the trade table. Waddya think folks, deal or no deal? To share or to shaft? Honestly, I'd love it if a Lib/Lab pact would go further, but if that's what the Libs settle for in the end I'll take it. It's not nearly enough but I'll take it (for now). Clegg & Co seem to be playing their cards right.

I thought that was one of the best episodes of the series so far. There's that brilliant moment when they're sat around the table and they hear knocking on roof, which I felt summed up every reason I find Dr Who so glorious: "Not vampires... fish from space."
