Probably going to be longer then that, if the results are as close as the polls suggest they will be.

If we're all quite done herding the innocent onto cattle trains, I see the papers are coming out with their sponsorships. The Times (and presumably the rest of the Murdoch press now they have a better lead) comes out for the Conservatives while The Guardian (again, shockingly) backs the Liberal Democrats. Tomorrow I'm fulling expecting the Pope to come out as Catholic.

It's a little cringe-worthy hearing them describe it as "the No.1 action series of all time" knowing full well all the people actually responsible for that are all gone.

I think it's a great tune, though it's worth tracking down the original version which actually a nicely thoughtful protest track.

Best article on the election debates yet - http://www.guardian.co.uk/science/2010/apr/29/leaders-debate-naked-politician I'll leave that image to sink in.

I haven't bought a football game in four years (Fifa 05 for a fiver) but I've greatly enjoyed the demo for this. I think I'll wait until a couple of months after the World Cup to get it at which point retailers will inevitably be begging you to take them.

Finally joined the blogosphere today. I read far too many papers, thought it was about time find a proper outlet for my cack handed and badly punctuated points of view on current affairs.

I spent most of that debate snorting into my tea every time Cameron promised "change". If they wanted to do something different from Labour they would've done more in opposition before this election.

Can you facepalm yourself?

A slightly minor point but I'm incredibly glad to see a wing snapping off in that video. It's been too long coming for an F1 game with decent damage modeling. I'll be disappointed if I'm not shearing other people's wheels off through the Monaco harbor tunnel.

With nothing going on the news, I went to get a sandwich. Came back with a sandwich, flicked the news back on and Gordon has successfully shot himself in the kneecaps. Obviously, my sandwich had magical powers! Political powers! Had!

But if it involves an old man it's not a proper review without his patented Old Man Rating system! Also, specifics! Are they Spicy Bears?

I'd love to see you doing political analysis on Newsnight. "Any comment on that statement from the US Vice President about military bases in Taiwan?" "I definitly give him an OMR of 8/10!"

Well, here it's drizzly, overcast, about 10C (an improvement on recent days), most of the trees, bushes and flowers haven't blossomed yet and I can see two pigeons having a fight from my window. So I can take it or leave it.

Hehe, thank you everybody! Except for you Rez. Go stand in the corner and think about what you've done.

Aw, thanks you guys! Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to spend the next 5 hours on buses to visit my sister for a couple of days. Higho McEwans 102 service AWAY! *cracks whip*

The Nick Clegg smearing continues, with the Torygraph discovering that Nick Clegg received party donation money from three business men (all registered donors) that was put into his private account. And then used to help pay a member of his parliamentary staff's salary. Which he officially and fully declared. All £250 a month of it. In 2006. Oh the scandal. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/election_2010/8636311.stm
