I'll keep an eye on it - EA have their fingers in so many different pies these days we could a tantalising glimpse of almost anything. Mass Effect 3?

Not going to lie, I genuinely like the idea of sitting down and gripping an imaginary steering wheel, shifting into an imaginary 1st gear then putting an imaginary pedal to imaginary metal. 2 things bother me however: 1. Price? 2. If any of the the voice or image recognition features work with any consistency, it'll be a first.

[E3 2010] New Design Xbox 360 - 16th July - £200
gaggle64 replied to Ashley's topic in Other Consoles
It's a fugly looking thing, but I suppose you can't argue with it if you're still looking to pick up an Xbox for the first time. Stores will be paying you to take the old models away from them now though surely? -
Reach looked tasty, but apart from that not a lot to get me massively enthused. I'd probably be more excited if I didn't already own an Xbox. Not bad by any means, but nothing massive.

It looks like Reggie's long lost younger cousin.

Hnng. Haagh! HURRRAGH! Happy Birthday!

6pm? I'll get home from work just after the start, though I imagine it'll be a struggle to F5 my way onto any given live stream by then.

What an astonishing spectacle from beginning to end. A superb fight for the lead between five different drivers that constantly threatened to go anyone's way. Epic fights throughout the midfield. Bad race for Schumacher but I enjoyed watching him get properly stuck in, a warning to anyone who might think he's lost any of his ambition. So good to see Montreal back on the calendar. Look forward to a nice nap during Valencia and then hopefully some more hot action in Silverstone.

Slight headache, feeling the need to dig myself out of this rather drab-yet-pleasant not-really-hell hole, but I don't have to put up with that one dickhole from work for a couple of weeks because he's on holiday. I've also been feeling better about my writing after finding a book "for older readers" called "Ghost Horse", half of which is written from the view point of the horse. Joseph E Chipperfield must be a genius.

Happy Birthday, stay chilled!

I've been feeling spaced out of my head after I had an incredibly vivid dream last night, so vivid I honestly thought I could feel the ground beneath my feet and taste the sea water and booze in my mouth (also the tongue of the hot random red head I got to make out with near the end. Subconscious five!) Now I gotta prepare myself psychologically for tomorrow's formerly easy 4 now 7-hour shift, at least five of which will be spent with one of the biggest (literally and figuratively), most charmless buttholes I've ever met. It's mostly annoying because everyone else at work is actually perfectly lovely.

Xpert 11 Season 13 (The Season of Hope and Change Reports)
gaggle64 replied to Haden's topic in General Chit Chat
Haha, holy shit, three goals in the last 10 minutes to equalise. Too late I find the combination but this feels as good as a win. -
The best Danish Export since Carlsberg was made back in 1847

Have an awesome birthday dude! -
A list of 10 crazy-ass miliatry aircraft prototypes that, for one reason or another, never made it. It's pretty fascinating stuff. http://jalopnik.com/5556703/ten-us-military-aircraft-that-never-quite-made-it/gallery/ Award a prize to yourself if you can guess roughly which year this aircraft was built.

Xpert 11; the game that makes N Europe special
gaggle64 replied to Haden's topic in General Chit Chat
Bad news Haden dude, I've badgered/sexually harassed Martinist but he's decided he just wants to back out after this season. Everyone else should join in! Sexual harassment for all! -
They did manage to change time a little bit with Van Gogh, as we saw with those slight changes in the paintings. In this season, as we now know from the Angels 2-parter, time can be re-written for some reason even the Doctor isn't sure of. His only clues as to why (so far) are the gigantic crack in time dated from Amy's wedding night following them around with charred shards of what appears to be exploded Tardis inside it.

Xpert 11; the game that makes N Europe special

It has about as much in common with real football as Mario Kart does with Le Mans. Xpert11 is a lot like making love, it's easy to understand the basic mechanics but it's how you utilise them that sets you apart from the rest. -
Ahhh jesus. One more early morning six-hour shift tomorrow and then short mid-afternoon fixtures for the rest of the week. I don't mind the early morning shifts but they do leave one feeling awful worn. Now if you'll excuse me... *flops limply away*

That was a really great episode, though I think it displayed all of Dr Who's greatest strengths and weaknesses. The whole thing felt like the Tardis had materialised in a another much more sophisticated and more adult drama, the sort of thing that gets replayed endlessly at 3am on BBC4.

Xpert 11 Season 13 (The Season of Hope and Change Reports)
gaggle64 replied to Haden's topic in General Chit Chat
Well, that's it then. Even if I win all of my remaining game I'm likely to be going down. I just don't know what's gone wrong this season. A-grade players just keep on putting in B and C grade performances. I can't believe I was championship contender only a couple of seasons ago. -
