Imagine a 16v16 or more in the Independence Day style level from Lylat wars. IMAGINE IT.

Online 4-player co-op anyone? Then you've got someon to REALLY argue with. Maybe it's time the Starfox game started having more open-plan levels, at least for co-op? Say each level was one giant, free-flying arena full to the brim of baddies and multiple bosses, and it was left to you and your comerades to work together as needed.

plase, PLEASE let this be Nintendo in-house. Adventure and Assualt were hideously dissapointing after the perfection of Starwing and the majesty of Lylat Wars. I'd also love to see an updated version of the Independence Day-like level in Lylat Wars. That was the best game level in human history.

I'm just getting back to playing Echoes after a year-long break (I did the same with Prime). I personally think it is superb. I agree it maybe not as good as Prime, but Prime really was pretty god-damn fantastic. Saying Echoes is worthless because of that is like saying Road to Perdition is crap because it's not as good as The Godfather. I'm personally not too bothered by the realtive lack of variety of enviorments compared to Prime, as the result is a game that's considerably darker in tone, which I enjoy. I don't understand how anyone can enjoy prime and not Echoes though. It is different, but the base game is still the same. Some compalin about not having the ice beam or X-ray visor, and some complain that there's no snow level, and so on. To be honest, it sometimes starts to reach the point where you think that some people would be happier with simply buying Prime again. Also, Prime a WEEK? Echoes in THREE DAYS? What in the name of Retro Studios do you do in your SPARE time?

Watching Jeremy and Richard scramble around on top the pick up a it sank slowly beneath the waves is the funniest thing I have seen in a long time. I'm really sad Hammonds "Damper Van" didn't work though. I'd love a canal boat/van like that! If you haven't seen it, well... shame on you.

To be honest, the sequels didn't even make any damn sense. I once spent a whole evening just trying to make sense of what the hell The Architect (who looks hilariously like the KFC logo) was blathering on about. Several hours later, I finally worked out that it was english. I swear to god, he just sits there and talks about NOTHING. NOTHING!!!

Surely it is only a matter of time, the first two were simply superb. The multiplayer on Pikimin 2 was also surprisingly fun. I'd love to see an online 4+ player version of that.

Lordi deserved it just on effort. The amount of fireworks alone was breath taking. Everyone is accusing them of being devil worshipers apparently, but if you listen to their song, it's really upbeat. It's all about striking down the foolish who try to mess with our lives, and the mght of rock and roll. Great stuff. I think it's a shame the UK only got 25 points though. I really thought we had a pretty good song this year. Also, Terry Wogan once again met his own high standards. It simply wouldn't be worth watching without him.

The fight scenes in Galdiator are unsurpassed. Vicous, and as gory as hell. The opening battle sequence between the Germainians and The Romans is spectacular, drenched in blood, fire and tostesterone.

Meh, I'm going to hang back for a couple of years, wait until they descover all the giant security holes and bugs, and then get a whole new DX10 system. Those are pretty high specs though. What's so great about the aero desktop again?
