Yeah, that's a fair comment. It's what I like to call the Bruckheimer motive. "Why is all this crap blowing up?" "I dunno, does it matter?" The series is brilliant though, it's eccentric characters and constant oscilation between drama, comedy and action actually gives it some similarity with Doctor Who more than anything else.

I didn't like Enterprise. It just didn't deliever what it promised, and I thought the charcaters were a little dull, in my opinion at least.

The way languages are taught here in schools in the UK is appaling, especially compared to the rest of Europe. I always find it embarrasing when I hear tourists speaking German, French, Spanish or something, and then being able to turn around and speak good English, while I can't understand a word they say to each other.

Apparently Romero was pretty eager to do the Resi movie because he had always admired the soap-opera monster drama of the games, and though it was a good play on the traditional undead theme. They threw him off because he refused to compromise so the film would be sure of getting a low enough age rating for the executives. Cos' all us gamers are 13 years old, and simply making a good film just isn't enough anymore. EDIT: Scanning through, I must say I'm really quite enjoying the scene at the farmhouse. It actually relates to the creepy, desperate atmosphere of the series quite well.
