OK, I'm fairly pissed. After spending £200 on a spanking new X1800XT, I find I can't install it because the hard drive cable-point in my mother board stops it from sitting in the PCI-E slot properly - the board is about 1/4 inch too long. Can some one recommend me a decent graphics card that is 8.5 inches long or less? How long is a 7900? Anyone know?

I find that clearing out a lot of excess dust from my fans really helped the airflow to the components, and really helped keep things quiet. Grab yourself a can of air and clear some of that dust out to help things along.

Thing is with the battle Royale Remake (and the Oldboy - please God no), it can't hope to be anything other then a watered-down version of the original, which is banned in the US cause of it's violence. Listen very carefully, and you can almost hear a group LA-based excutives discussing how to slip it in as 15-rated release, and keep it under an hour & 20 in order to maxamise its appeal to their "target demograph". Kiss goodbye to most of the story, most of the character relationships, most of violence and with it just about everything that makes Battle Royale a good film.

It was quite heavily raining my way to - I don't mind though, as it keeps everything fresh, especially the rivers. It's really hot again now.

It's part of the similarity film shares with theatre procution. Think of it like a car - you could have the best engine, chassis and wheels avialable, but wether it wins a race is still down to the driver.

I prfere the winter persoanally, though the weather has been great! Bit coller today, which offers a little light relief. I hope we get some nice, heavy summer rain - replenish the rivers and clear the air.

Dawn of War and the Winter Assualt expansion. A massive, endless orgy of battle, but with a solid base bulding and tech race at the core of it. Multiplayer is superb fun. Rome Total War is also amazing - a wide variety of interesting factions, and a deep campaign mode which goes on for ever.

The script, the acting, the artsitic direction - the director is in charge of all of that. He has the power to rewrite the script, the responsibility to guide the actors and is intimately involved with every shot through until the end of editing and post-production. the director isn't the only cog, but is the core of a film productuion.

I'm quite surprised at my T&T. Ivory Coast did quite well today too, even if they did lose. I day for the underdog stories it seems. -
Surely Crystal Chronicles will have online. I'm sure Excitetruck and Smash Bros. will also. Just makes sense really.

Probably some blond cheese dick from the Holywood school of child actors and the balck occult. With a bit of luck, the whole cast, crew and every single copy of the script will simultaneously faint and slip over the edge of a very tall cliff. I truly, very seriously can't even begin to grasp the concept of this film ever being any good. There's no way they can improve the original anyway.

The first game I played I think was this cool run and gun game on my dads Spectrum, wuth tanks and swamp a loads of hapless middle eastern (read: Iraqi) soldiers to blow away. It was sweet. The first game I ever owned was Starwing, as well as Super Tennis, Super Star Wars, Stunt Race FX and Desert Strike. They were all sweet.

It really, genuinly looks like you have huge freakin' hands.

A remake of the original Battle Royale? I think I am going to be sick. The original is a cult classic, and now some cheap, brainless hollywood hack reckons he can make a cheap buck by bastardising a truly classic film. Again. You can smell the shit a mile off.

Click below fro the tech demo vid which shows of all it's tech wizardry in motion for your convenience. It IS pretty damn sweet, though not quite "photo realistic". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N0YuFHSF9sw&search=crysis

It all looks very relaistic, but I think we are still quite far away from having truly realistic game world. We can move leaves, rustle bushes and destruct almost anything we want now, but I've yet to see a game that comes anywhere near the dynamic do-anything real world we live in.

Excellent, now all I have to do is sell my unborn children into slavery.

A 6800 would be an excellent upgrade option.
-
They lied. Legally, your allowed to kill them now, provided you do it with a bow and arrow and within the city limits.
-
I wouldn't say it's an absolute necessity, but I'd imagine system-heavy games like oblivion and FEAR will only be playable on even fairly low settings. I myself am upgrading soon to a Radeon X1800XT - at £230 it aint quite what you might call a budget option, but it does give you plenty of bang for your buck.

I think this is something else. I know da Who's been through at least one or two versions of Satan, but all the 666ing and talk about "Abadon" and "The Beast" ect. would indicate he's finally found Devil ver3.5. Now with 18% more forbidden evil!
-
Oooh, 7300. Sounds great, but doesn't really deserve it's 7-series name. HAlf Life 2 will run but not great, Doom 3 I think will be fine. Oblivion won't look too good though.
-
Kick off at 2pm sharp. The opening group sages should be no problem. Paraguay are looking strong though. The 4-4-2 with the Crouch and Owen patnership will do us very nicely. Very nicely indeed.

Or, you could burn £180. Or get A CREATIVE VISION M. Seriously, one of my mates has one, and it's freaking sweet. Ipods break if you look at them funny.

That was a great episode. It's like they saw the Doom movie, saw it was shit, then made their own version. Brilliant! Seriously, it all is very Doom dont you think? Lone facility, cursed planet, whispers from dark corners, Big blue doors, inept and overly curious scientists, Satan ect....
