  1. 1984, Love Hina, An Actor Prepares, any of Benjamin Zephaniah's poetry books, Maus, Ruined City, Heart of Darkness, Letters from America, The Redwall series and I'm currently in the middle of Buddha by Osamu Tezuka, which is a truly first class manga. It makes for genuinly religous, enlightening reading.
  2. I'm pretty sure I saw Hellfires character in a anime about a cronicaly shy man obsessed with pudding. But I can't be sure.
  3. I officially nominate the hero from Atari2600 classic "Adventure" as a must have character addition. That would be just far, far too awesome. Seriously though, think about it. A genuine gaming legend who could kick Snake's ass anyday. (Hero top right with sword.)
  4. Happy Birthday to the best. ARTIST. EVER!
  5. I hate guy fashion in general these days. We need a new guys fashion - all those flourescent, lavender shirts and womanly scarves-on-leather jackets just don't do it for me.
  6. Technically I joined when it was CE, and the it was all just sand, sand as far as the eye can see. But I only posted a couple of times before it bacame R-E, so I'll just say RE for a giggle.
  7. Madden. There's no Madden option. Why no Madden option? Booooo!
  8. I should probably get into this sport more though. I have a close cousin at a 'can Footbal training camp in Madrid after all. Who knows where he might end up.
  9. Now, now, let's not drag Da' Hatcher into this. That game was awesome.
  10. That's not to say those aren't without their merits, but if games like this keep coming instead I'll be a very happy little bunny.
  11. This game just looks too damn cute. Konami aren't faffing around are they? The enviorment around looks particulary vibrant and the character itself is highly appealing. I can forsee this making a home in my collection. Also, level editor modes FTW. Are talking about Dewey or Japanese RPGs now?
  12. Apparently you can share your own custom-made levels in Eledees, which certainly counts as online support in my book. Awesome.
  13. Game have excellent cutomer service, while Gamestation has a good selection of retro games that you normally wouldn't find outside of eBay or small retailers. Good deals can often be found in both, and as such are often both worth a browse.
  14. I enjoy Madden immensily, and yet I find the actual sport so sinfully dull to watch. I tried the one last year and almost gerotted myself after twenty minutes. I'm also trying to imagine where the other 550mil viewers are coming from. It's difficult to imagine more then about 30 people watching across all of Europe.
  15. Wouldn't be that weird dude up over lake Hylia would it? Where ride the cuckoos down through big symbols of monyez?
  16. Starwing - SNES
  17. I used to watch this show, but then there was this one episode where they showed a car crash where the kidnapper of two girls died. Well, that is, the guy didn't say that explicitly, but somehow failed to make his usually, joyus proclomation as to the fate of the criminal ("Luckily the two girls survived this horrific ordeal." >Cut to next scene.) And I was like: "Yeah.... yeah. I think I'm done with this show."
  18. After 2 excellent movies and nearly a 20 year gap, do we actually want to see a third Ghostbuster film? Do we really?
  19. It is true that Family Guy is essentially a series of jokes, but then about 99.8% of all American comedy (and drama, and documentaries) is like that. Family Guy gets away with it because they are genuinly funny jokes. Even Simpsons can't manage that anymore. PS. South Park is sorta political, but purely in the sense that it's writers express an opinion. I don't think it's trying to hard to start some kind of movement or anything. PPS. Saw the episode where Cartman tries to get Family Guy forced off the air. Again funny, but this time I personally disagree with the sentiment of the show. Just my opinion.
  20. Did anyone else notice that there seemed to be a couple of Rokhead clones, one playing for Italy and the other for France?
  21. Keep in mind this is a genre that consits mainly of a series of arrows.
  22. Good start from England. Johnny's some kind of lean, mean scoring machine. Scotland made a couple of good plays, but were just totally out classed. Any thoughts on that try? Twas a close call that.
  23. Nah, he only comes out during peace time as gigantic, angry, helicopter swatting metaphor for what is going to happen. And to vote as a US citizen. Very pro-Republican apparently.
  24. Head for the nearest Army Base, Power Plant, Water Treatment plant ect. as they'll be the places most likely to be under protection by armed forces. Failing that, blockade the downstiars, secure myself quietly upstairs. Failing that, get eaten.
  25. No Mathew Broderik running around, no World War III. That's my policy.
