  1. I've decided to donate what ever amount I can find on my desk. Also... Is it wrong to actually want to watch a Catherine Tate sketch when David Tenant is involved?
  2. Who's inside that giant Red Nose costume? He must have the best work uniform in the world.
  3. What? I don't get it, it has a tasteful retro appeal to my eyes.
  4. What on earth is wrong with that one?
  5. Top Gear of the Pops should be hilarious.
  6. Let us not forget the raging recriminations following "Celda" either.
  7. Enterprise didn't really give itself a role to play. DS9 was great because it was basically seven seasons of some blokes in a pub, Star Trek had a great sense of the fantastic as did Next Generation. To me it seems Enterprise tried to make things "more realistic" and "deep" which in sci-fi and fantasy is, at best, self defeating, and ultimately ended up having to piece itself together from what had come before it.
  8. If this goes ahead it's going to be awful. AWFUL. I don't give a crap if it's a "re imagining," why not just give us new Star Trek instead of pillaging my fondest memories.
  9. Alright folks, as we all know the military recently launched Skynet, and as such it's likely we only have about six years or so before the programme controlling all our war machines and weapons takes control and wipes out humanity, leaving the survivors to suffer under the brutal regime of the robot soldiers we once built to protect ourselves. So how will you be preparing for Judgement Day? Stockpiling weapons? Chilling with some Mexican "relatives"? Can Skynet yet be destroyed before it's too late? Remember: There is no fate, other then what we make for ourselves!
  10. Burnout. My dad bought it for me with my GC as an innocuous accompaniment to the main event (Rogue Squadron, Pikmin ect.) Little did we know at the time that we would be the among the earliest adopters (and eventually the most ardent fans) of one of the finest series to emerge that generation.
  11. Desert strike. I'd pay through the god damn nose for a wii update of that.
  12. *beep* *beep* I am a robot. Robots do not have feelings. *beep*
  13. Only very occasionally. I like a nice wine with a meal sometimes that sort of thing. I've only been properly drunk a couple of times though, I'm not really on the bar scene. Always prefer a good night in, settle in with a film, book or whatever might be on telly, with what ever may be left of the aforementioned wine.
  14. I wish more people in motor racing did kick-flip windmills on top of their cars. Imagine the Formula 1 pre-race show!
  15. Why is he busting out?
  16. Aren't we forgetting about the whole silhouetted-Leon teaser debacle?
  17. A sequel to the distressingly Japan-only Sin and Punishment please. Worldwide this time, if you don't mind. The shooting action would work perfectly of course. Yay! Those Gobbos were so damn cute. If they ever get genetic engineering nailed, I'd love a whole bunch of them for pets.
  18. Haven't done that yet though have they?
  19. They clearly don't have too many conflicting ideas though. As it has been noted, all of the scientists featured in this documentary (except the one claiming he was misrepresented) had their scientific theories rejected and debunked years ago by the vast majority of their peers in the scientific community. We don't have any crackpots trying to tell us birds use magic entirely because of this very same vetting system.
  20. Didn't I hear somewhere that they were packing high-def copies of Casino Royale with it? Or did I just dream that?
  21. I like the basics, apples, oranges, tangerines and bananas, but on the whole I reckon you can't beat a good strawberry.
  22. Well, you've kind of put yourself in a paradox there, the whole point of a having a viable mass news source being to relay outside information to the public, and the whole point of an independent media watchdog is to insure that that the information relayed is indeed correct. I'm sure if you want the information direct it's out there somewhere, but personally I believe the Guardian to be a perfectly trustworthy news source.
  23. Most of our Kirby's are the American version too unfortunetly. Why can't they just let him look pleasant if slightly bemused, as God intended?
  24. .... oh god I hope so!
